I remember vividly at the onset of GSM services in Nigeria and we were told by MTN then that per second billing was not possible in Nigeria and we were made to pay per minute notwithstanding you spend less than 60s because of some reasons, and we were all paying through our nose because we don't have option. But immediately Glo came on board and started per second billing it was then MTN started billing us per second. now the question is " WAS IT REALLY FAIR ON MTN ON WHAT THEY DID TO NIGERIANS AFTER TELLING US THAT WHAT WAS IMPOSSIBLE WAS VERY POSSIBLE".

Why cant the Fulani's be encouraged to adopt the ranching system, why is it that we like being at the backwaters in all facet of life. The ranching system is truly the way to go, but with our narrow silly way of doing things they might just resist doing it claiming it is not their traditional way of of life. Come to think of it, we are in no way close to Argentina in beef production yet you don't see herdsmen on their roads or cattle's rummaging on peoples farmlands. The world over, ranching is the norm, their forefathers were once nomads yet they have shifted far far away from those practices and adopted modern and better ways of rearing cattle. The Fulani man is in no way interested in such changes.

Serious help needed. I have a friend whose mother's leg has been recommended for amputation, but due to financial constraints they have not been able to do it, this woman is in serious pain she hardly sleeps.
