Actually those are stuffs Nigerians don't eat on the regular. However other not so healthy foods like roasted corn, boli, suya, generally roasted foods etc contain soot and ash which aren't friendly to the gut.
They can induce ulcers, they can also induce gastritis.
And worse even, they can induce uneven gut cell division leading up to stomach cancers 20-40yrs down the line.

Its true. Or another one is that, they will put a blanket over u and make u bend over the hot prepared medicine and tell u to inhale the steam. that works too.
