DonEd:
My dear brother in the Lord,

You didn't give any meaningful advice or counsel to the matter.

If u dont have anything to say, just scroll past.

Bless u brother in the Lord.
Actually, what he said is very important. He knew his wife was an introvert before he married her. By now he should have known the things that makes her happy rather than trying to change her and potentially make her a very fake and unhappy person.

This goes to show that nothing pleases we humans. Let's assume his wife suddenly becomes an extrovert, the next thing we will see is a topic on the frontpage seeking advice about turning his wife back to an introvert.

He should love her for what she is instead of trying to change her into what he wants.

VDM was there
Pastor Paul Enenche was there
The Presidential Aides (Samuel Dare and Mr Bayo Onanuga were there waiting for him)

However, the president didn't reach the town. So what exactly did he go to do in Benue State then??

Mhen,Peter Obi was right on his criticism
It is Yeleweta and not Yelematu. Kindly make appropriate corrections.

The werey only went to Makurdi to cruise in his Prado jeep and snap pictures in the hospital.
Nothing more..
And funny enough his convoy would have passed through the approaches to the town when coming from Abuja to Makurdi because the town is situated just along the Makurdi-Nassarawa-Abuja expressway.

And if it is not on record that you filed a complaint with your bank about the fact that you do not know the source of the money, then you are in deep shit.

And mind you, the fact that someone contacted you to return the money does not mean the person Is the owner of the money.

Don't be a dunderhead. The whole world knew as far back as the 80s that Iran and Israel will one day face each other. It was not a matter of if, but if when.

Israel has been threatening to destroy Iranian nuclear facilities for about 30 years now.

So, there is nothing special in what Mr Joshua said about it.

Foreign AffairsRe: Why Does Iran Launch Missiles At Night? by Krak(m): 8:34am On Jun 17, 2025
matify83:
As sirens blare and Israeli air defenses intercept incoming threats in the dead of night, a pattern has emerged in Iran’s missile strategy: darkness.

Repeated missile barrages launched from Iran during the overnight hours are no coincidence—they reflect a deliberate military and technological doctrine designed to obscure, surprise, and instill fear.

While nighttime offers obvious concealment, the choice to strike under the cover of darkness is rooted in far more than visibility. It is a combination of technical constraints, operational necessity, and psychological warfare.

Missiles, unlike aircraft, cannot rely on atmospheric oxygen for propulsion. Instead, they must carry both fuel and oxidizer—components necessary for combustion—within their systems. This is because ballistic missiles reach altitudes where oxygen is sparse or nonexistent.

This fundamental requirement divides missiles into two categories: those powered by liquid fuel and those using solid fuel—each with its strategic implications.

Liquid fuel: Powerful but exposed
Iran's long-range missiles, including the Shahab series, typically use liquid fuel. These missiles require a complex fueling process before launch, involving two separate tanks—one for fuel and one for oxidizer. The operation is time-sensitive, hazardous, and requires stationary launch infrastructure and ground crews.

This makes the fueling stage the missile’s most vulnerable window, especially under the watchful eye of enemy satellites and surveillance aircraft.

To reduce the risk of detection and attack, Iran often conducts fueling operations at night, when visibility is low and the chances of aerial detection drop significantly.

Solid fuel: Mobile and ready
In contrast, short- and medium-range missiles such as the Fateh-110 and Zolfaghar are typically powered by solid fuel. These systems are pre-loaded with a mix of fuel and oxidizer in a solid form, stored within the missile’s body. They are launch-ready, do not require on-site fueling, and can be fired from mobile platforms, making them ideal for surprise strikes and decentralized warfare.

However, once ignited, solid-fuel missiles cannot be shut down or throttled. The launch is irreversible—an operational trade-off for mobility and speed.

Why missiles must carry their own oxygen
The question of why missiles need onboard oxidizers often arises. Unlike jet engines, which intake oxygen from the atmosphere, missile engines must operate in environments where oxygen is insufficient or entirely absent.
Ballistic missiles can ascend dozens—or even hundreds—of kilometers into the sky, well beyond breathable altitudes. To ensure sustained propulsion, they must carry everything needed for combustion from the outset.

Doctrine shaped by technology and tactics
Iran’s repeated use of nighttime launches is no random decision. It reflects a multi-layered military doctrine that accounts for technical realities, strategic opportunities, and the psychological dynamics of war.

By leveraging both solid and liquid-fueled missiles, mobile launch platforms, and the natural concealment of night, Iran has built a system that prioritizes survivability, surprise, and psychological impact—even when the missiles themselves fail to reach their targets.

In the ongoing battle for deterrence and defense, the timing of the launch is as critical as the missile itself.
All these your long grammar is hidden in a useless strategy that has no basis against an enemy that beats you in strategy and technology. Operating under the cover of darkness is useless when your enemy is equipped with thermal and night vision technology backed by the intelligence, willingness and prowess to hit you.

Just two nights ago, Israeli planes destroyed 120 Iranian launch vehicles in the night as they were getting ready to launch. So, tell me something else that makes sense.

This is a big shame on Iran grin

Instead of dem to equip Thier military before making mouth. They only rely on their missiles.

Their Air force is nothing to write home about. They should be working on getting aircrafts like SU35 and SU57 and air defense system like S400 and S500
Instead of all these, they should be focused on governing and pleasing their people instead. Also, they should be focused on cementing friendship with countries that are their real historic friends. Countries like Israel.

Could you believe that Israel and Iran had an historic friendship, until 1979 when the Islamists came to power and made Israel their enemies.

What this means is that Israel is not Irans enemy, it was the Islamic regime that made Israel an enemy. Ask most ordinary Iranians and they do not see Israel as an enemy.

PropertiesRe: Why Did Nigerians Stop Using Louvers Windows by Krak(m): 6:01pm On Jun 11, 2025
bigrovar:
Hi guys. I am about to start a small house project. For this I intend to make the house functional and as efficient as possible. Although intend to use traditional building materials like blocks. I do intend to have the house have functionality over aesthetics as much as possible.

One area which has bothered me is the inability to find *quality* louvers window frames. Without a doubt. Louvers are the best window frames for a tropical climate like Nigeria. It allows for 100% ventilation allowing you to use the total window space for ventilation. When it rains you can still enjoy ventilation by adjusting the tilt of the windows so that air can come in but the rain stays out. This is something which can't be achieved by either a casement or sliding window which is the fancy now a days.

Lastly louvers provide the best privacy for the home sliding windows which has to be left close or have your windows covered by curtains. To prevent visibility from outside. Louvers allows u to fit the lower side of the windows with translucent non see through glass which can be tilted to prevent anyone from seeing inside while at the same time allowing air to come in.

With all these advantages of louvers. One would think that it's the default windows in Nigerian homes. Alas reverse is the case. Louvers has virtually disappeared from the market. Only place u find them are old houses or very poor neighborhoods. In the market due to lack of demand from up scaled buyers. The only type of louvers in the market are of extreme poor quality.

I wonder why such a useful functional low cost technology got replaced by an inefficient expensive and frankly IMHO less elegant solution.

If anyone sells quality louvers windows frame kindly leave a message here. I need them badly.
Chech this link, I think they sell in Nigeria. https://nigalex.com/products/fixed-louvre-sun-breaker/
