How many Nigerians earn a living wage? I think these people should be ashamed of saying all these considering the fact that most of the "little" that enters the government coffers have always been looted blue and black. Imaging them now having much more, they will simply loot more.

And, I actually think tax is tax, either income tax, VAT or whatever. Everybody ends up paying tax one way or the other. So they should stop gaslighting us and do their jobs as they are supposed to do it

I actually had a dream few weeks ago that an asteroid entered earth and landed inside a populated city in South-West Nigeria.

It was really scary, I woke up and was very scared and sweating from the shock of the explosion.

This is not totally correct. Yahoo-Yahoo started long before internet became popular in Nigeria.

It started in the 80's during the period of snail mails when people used the post office to mail international "friends" called pen-pals.

Its either you are lying or the only electronics you have in your home is only your phone with no bulbs. I am on 33 kva Band A and 5k gives me just about 22 units or so and it does not last me up to 5 days.

tbh, if you spend just 100k monthly for all this appliances you have, you should consider yourself lucky, my brother uses 5k per day and they only put ON 1 AC at night for 6hours.

Both your brother and the person you are quoting are not lucky. We are all very unfortunate to find ourselves in this very grievous situation.

Mine I only on fan, laptop and charge phone I don't even on light bulbs. Yet I spend 30k plus.

Any month I mistakenly turn on fridge 50 something thousand will go.

I stay in PH. Woji precisely. I have steady light but omo I pay through my nose.
I see more than 20hrs daily.

We are in exactly the same shoes. I use just the basics and I am spending 30k plus in a month. Imagine having constant light yet you are afraid to use it because of the crippling financial cost.

I no longer on my smart tv, home theatre, use water heater and even the basic ones like fan, laptop, 5watt bulbs that I am using, I am loading my prepaid as if I am paying all these loan companies.

I am now seriously considering buying a solar inverter for use.

You are not annoyed enough. If you are, nobody will tell you what to do to stop all these.

Let me just give you a piece of advice. In this world you should not care how others see you or feel about you.

You should go straight to their apartment and demand for your property with a mean face and a strong voice. Say it very clearly that you do not appreciate that they don't return your things.

After this anytime they come to borrow from you, tell them very clearly that it's not available, no need for long stories. Even if they can see that it's available, tell them it's not available, simple.

Eventually they will be forced to go buy their own. And don't worry if they stop greeting you or talking to you, that should not be your concern.
