Unlike argentina that has a great footballing history having won 2 world cups, portugal does not boast of such history.Remember ronaldo was part of the Euro 04 team that got to the final(their best finish) and the 2006 WC semi final.But since Argentina has won the copa america more than 10 times and the world cup twice, messi would need to do more than getting to the WC final to be considered argentina's greatest.
