You raised some very good points, however, I disagree with the part that says, sometimes you need to come up with an excuse not to see him. For what? To create a shroud of mystery & intrigue? For how long? IMO, that is playing games & doing the dance of 1000 veils. A trick. What happens when he finds out there's really nothing of interest there after all, say after marriage? Since he never got to know her beyond the superficial level. As they say, the backdrop will fall eventually & everything hidden will come to light, then what? Personally I'm of the belief that one should always be 100% themselves in everything that they do, to separate the wheat from the chaff fast. Take it or leave it. Nobody have time to be pretentious all in the name of getting some guy to marry them. No wonder the divorce rate is so high because after marriage you'll be forced to spend a lot of time together, no more dashing around, hiding behind excuses to shield a lame personality.
