I had 4 shoes bought from eBay through shinner2010 since September, 2 are in Nigeria already. The other 2 have not been delivered to his contact in the US so he claimed , and its past the delivery date quoted.

I asked him to check his account and let us get to know what happened. It’s been one story or the other since then. His main line of argument is that the sellers are from China so we should wait till eternity because the seller probably would ‘have to trek all over China, Climb the Great Wall and hawk the merchandise down to US’ Just imagine, since September.

That boy lacks good customer relations. He’s insulting or arrogant, NO! But I think he lacks that technical know how on what to do next when issues like this arise.

Doesn’t Ebay offer some kind of 60 days buyer protection or thereabout?

i. Every TLC deal should have the name of picker.

Buyers/Sellers who fail to adhere to the stated rules of safe buying would be ignored cos you can't use your greediness and foolishness to give the business a bad name. If you come to wail after you've been scammed, you would be reported to the moderator for trying to give the business a bad name(just like the Scammers) or totally ignored or banned.

Finally, there will always be a case of a TLC deal gone bad. Panel consisting of about 3-5 people with Wisdom, Reputation , Maturity and Vast Knowledge of the PickUp Highs&Lows should be setup to resolve issues between dealhuter & buyers.. And in the case a decision is taken and the dealhuter or buyer errs ,, the Panel should be enriched with power (maybe forward such handle to the mod) to temporarily ban such persons from further transaction in the Technology Section..

Well I’ve spoken with cyber.
He said the MIPI fault is of 2 variants.
One Software and the other hardware.

In his words “He’ll be able to troubleshoot the software by downloading a data file of 4.2GB. If it works all good. But chances are low.
However if that fails, then the issue is hardware which he won’t be able to fix.

My suggestion:
1. Buyer and DH splits money meant for MIPI software to see if device works.
2. If problem eventually turns out to be hardware, Dh would take back his item and refund buyer.

What has happened here is similar to buying a password locked iphone and end up discovering it’s iCloud locked.

EVDO used to be the fastest back in the day. EVDO and CDMA networks can’t be likened. They were both prominent way back!!

Besides, there should be Automatic or Global that is the major mode that needs to be registered with it. I never see EVDO carrier in Nigeria

He bought a TLC deal "S8" advertised as AT&T LOCKED (which he received as stated on 5th Dec ) and this morning he messaged me saying the phone can't make or receive calls, the cellular is inactive and blah blah blah.

I told him I advertised as AT&T LOCKED, It's your responsibility to unlock (which he knows) and you can't push whatever Cellular issue that arise from unlocking to me. He wants me to take responsibility for that.

It's not as if I sold a Demo/Retail mode phone for him.

If it was the Cameras, fingerprint, speaker etc that didn't work, that's a different thing. Of which I even tested all that.
