Gabzi28: Hello house, I have been reading this thread for sometime now and I keep seeing science related courses my question is can't one study humanities or social science courses over there, thank yes you can. check daad.de, you will see a lot of courses in social science. but the truth is Germany schools have more of science courses than the rest |

Jigba: Lol. I saw people applying to Leipzig on this same thread.
I don't really know about criminology studies in Germany thanks for always being there for people like us. |

Jigba: Lmao, nobody will murder you bro. Yes that part has a problem with black people which is stupid. But there are black people living there and doing fine.
I'm not saying you should live there o. Just do your research well
Ps: You can't run away from racism. Whether East or West. It's everywhere. Thank you very Ma. I think I should just stay clear cos I don't even see people applying to that school much. buy what course can I go for now with my bsc is criminology and Security studies? less security courses in Germany unlike the US and Canada. |

good evening all, please I have a question that has been bothering my mind. I'm going for Peace and Conflict, Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg seem to be the only school offering that course.
From what I learnt, that part of Germany doesn't welcome black people. please will it be safe for one to still proceed to that part of Germany or get an alternative?
cos I wouldn't want anyone to just come and murder me in my sleep cos I have a black skin which is no fault of my. thanks |

Outstandingmam: This your post is really giving me plenty hope as my gp is similar to yours on the German scale. I was also denied admission in the USA. Really wish to hear about your experiences particularly with respect to your wife's program as I'm planning on going with my kids and would wish to get all the knowledge I need. I'm in the applied sciences too like you.
Congrats bro nobody has ever shared his/her experience concerning traveling with kids for Masters program. |

Jideola3: Hallo leute,
I found out about this thread about a month ago, I've been following the thread ever since. I must commend you guys. Gut gemacht!
I intend to pursue an English-taught MSC in Deutschland this year. I'd like to ask if its not late to apply for the summer semester especially through uniassit or I should focus on winter. I just got my undergraduate transcript and should have my ielts result this week, by friday. I can only certify and send documents next week, the application deadline is Jan 15. I am bothered about admission processing time and visa application.
I am trying to improve my grasp of the german language as advised by the gurus. I presently use memrise, Duolingo, YouTube videos and other resources, I can't go to the Goethe or other language institutions because of commitments at this time. My second question, is it possible to pass the A1 exam by studying on your own or one must enrol at a language school. Knowledgeable people should please enlighten me about the exams. I've checked their Goethe website I can't make sense of it.
Kindly advice.
Danke schön I will advice you just chill till winter so that you don't rush yourself. |

good morning to every body in the house. I love the way the German trend is going. I just observed that most people going for masters in Germany are 90% science oriented courses/ program. my question is, is there no prospect for those going for international relation, MBA, peace and conflict and the rest? I stand to be corrected my humble people. |
