Snapdragon 820 was a failure processor as it was known to have overheating issues, and also being a Quad-Core processor, SDM 821 was released as a sequel to replace it, newer Snapdragon processors were octa core and didn't have the overheating issues it had, sdm845 in S9 and s9 plus or the 835 in S8 or the plus version gets warm but not hot
Snapdragon 820 wasn't a failure, twas the 810, and the OP said his s9 also overheats, so it could be peculiar to some units.

It's exynos processor issue. They heat up really fast because of the Power hungry M cores.
Doesn't have to be, I use the snapdragon variant of the galaxy s7 and it heats up under intense gaming or video streaming.

Okay, I thought you had them as pets, judging by how you were defending their rights to life and freedom of movement.
I just hate seeing life forms being destroyed on an unprecedented rate by humans, when we can't create one, I watch documentaries and see descriptions and of animals that I would have loved to see but humans have driven them into extinction, and it's still happening now, so that's why.
