lionness:spot on. Our president lacks the cojones to be a leader. Whrn people lose their jobs to isdues like this, others would sit up and put up preventive measures to make surethings like this do not occur |
I couldn't care less. I'll hold no grudge towards them. I feel there are more important issues to dwell on than birthdays |
Good lord. Most of these accidents can be avoided. Government should provide motorable roads, vehicles plying the roads should be certified road worthy, licensed drivers should drive, clearly displayed road signs should be put in place and street lights should be put on roads to aid night driving I believe if these measures are put in place, we can minimize these accidents |
FortifiedCity:. Spot on. You couldn't have said it any better |
luvola:. Liverpool's defence and goal keeping department isn't one of the best. So i see no reason why we shouldn't attack them |
This victory should spur us on as we take on Liverpool on Saturday |
Despite our victory, players like chris smalling aren't man utd quality. We need to get rid of him asap |
Still the king of comebacks |
Goooooaaaaaaaaaalllll |
I hope this match turns out to be similar to man utd vs aston villa where utd where 2 nip down until chicharito entered and changed to the game to 3 2 in our favour |
Wow...my place of birth. Delta steel company was once one of the biggest organization in Nigeria. Hope things pick up quickly I won't be surprised if these indians turn that place around in less than two years. After seeing how they've successfully managed eleme petrochemical which was in shambles before taking over, things may work after all |
holluwai:. The two most important decisions louis van gaal ever took was sigining Martial and getting rid of welbeck |
Imagine been an arsenal, a Nigerian and using glo |
Imagine been an arsenal fan, a Nigerian and using glo. |
This is so embarrassing. The only sensible thing to do now is to sack wenger because things can only go worse from here. Next up, they face an AC milan team riding in confidence owing to their 13 match unbeaten streak. I feel so sad for gunners fans. Things are really gonna get ugly and i aint talking about segun arinze. |
Ggmu. Lingard |
If utd want to get anything out of this game, drop lukaku and play sanchez, martial and rashford up front |
I know that lukaku is going to start I know that lukaku is going to be ineffective as always I know that lukaku is not going to have any shot on target I know that mourinho will play lukaku 90 mins except he gets injured Man Utd shouldn't be playing such boring football with players like sanchez, martial, rashford, mata, pogba and co but due to the mentality of our coach who believes the only way to win a match is to defend, we will keep having performances like the sevilla match |
sexdoll:sir alex can never sign a player like lukaku. He would have gone all the way to get harry Kane. That's the kind of striker that fits utd. Not one that can't control the ball, can't beat his marker, can't score against the big boys |
Lukaku has got the be one of the worst strikers to play for utd. Ig maryial was given the same number of games and minutes as lukaku, he'll do better |
I'm sceptical about utd's chances. I dont know why. So far, so good for all the English teams. However, i do not forsee utd taking sevilla to the cleaners baring in mind our next epl match is against chelses However, i'm gonna be optimistic and tip utd to edge past sevilla GGMU |
good to know that eric baily is back. time to send smalling back to the reserves |
super eagles coach, gernot rorh needs to find midfielders that will tame modric because with our current midfield options and what i can see here, we may have problems o |
how on earth does $44m go missing? If the money got 'missing' from tge company's account, they should qurstion the signatories to such account. There ought to be proof from the bank showing records of transaction carried out. If on the other hand it was stolen at the agency, which sounds ridiculous becausr i don't know what $44m cash would be doing in an office, then under whose care was the money placed. Such individual(s) should be held responsible. I keep on saying this, Nigeria won't br great or get better because we've come to accept corruption. If i'm appointed the chairman of NIA and discover that my predecessor made away with 44m without any consequences, i would likely follow trend. On the other hand, if i see he was prosecuted and probably jailed, properties sieze, i wont want to caught in that web so i'll go ahead to do the right thing |
can never happen in my country. No matter how glaring a corrupt polician is, people will always be there to canvass for him/her. The issue of religion and ethnic bigotry will be brought to full play |
Ishilove:you said since friday.. I've been having uninterrupted power FAILURE for the past 3 weeks. Infact, my change over circuit has been on gen even when i go to work |
Wow. Instead of the IG of police to go over there, see how it's done, weigh the benefits it has in curbing crime, the financial resources required for such, consider if such can be replicated here in Naija, he'll prefer to have commissioners of police 'settle' him steadily. We keep drifting backwards |
AZeD1:. Nail to the head. Just what i wanted to say. The security team under jonathan and buhari's regime all have the task of ensuring peace and tranquillity. Now i ask 'was there relative peace under jonathan's regime? No. We still had cases of bomb blast, kidnapping, herdsmen attack. Now under buhari's regime we still get to witness the same thing. All i can draw from this is that the security team of Jonathan and buhari have let the nation down. Both have been collosal failures since tgey all failed in their primary goal |
Two things come to play here. This just shows how terrible our league is. When all teams win at home. Poor officiating, poor league management, terrible facilities compared to other top leagues in africa. The sad reality is that the minister of sport, nff and the league management wont do jack to mmake sure that this rubbish doesnt occur again Secondly, the commentator said the super eagles were not able to train as other nations in the tournament did. We only played a friendly against cameroun whereas other nations played ad many as 3 to 4 friendlies. Then i ask myself 'why do we keep doing this to our selves'? Dont be surprised funds were put in place for more than 1 friendly match but someone saw it unnecessary to 'waste' such i diverted for personal gains. The next statement you'll hear is 'we'll go back to the drawing board....' This is really bad |
This is si embarrassing |
Very dire performance from the super eagles. No drive, control, vision etc. It would be difficult for us to come good in this game because the Moroccan players will start going down easily with every single touch so as to kill the tempo of the game which is peculiar to north African teams. In all, i wish our boys success |
These pictures speaks a thousand words |
