this is the problem I have with some man utd fans. We tend to accept mediocrity. Mactominay isn't man utd quality. Modric would play 20 times for Real Madrid and be outstanding 17 times. Kante would play 20 times for Chelsea and would be outstanding 16 to 17 times. Mactominay would play 20 times for man utd and would be decent in 3 or 4 matches and we accept that? We use to be the best team in the world. We need players who would be exceptional week in week out.

Funny enough, we played better football 2 seasons ago and last season in so many matches. I don't think man utd have outplayed their opponents in more than 6 matches in the whole season. I'll probably say, our match against Leeds, Newcastle at home, Tottenham were the best. Against burnley, we were lucky to take our chances and win 3-1. We've been poor in the Champions League, we've been knocked out of the carabao cup and haven't hit the ground running in the FA cup. Something is fundamentally wrong at Man Utd. We played Watford and we were trashed, Watford played Brentford next and lost. We played Norwich and luckily came out with 3 points as Norwich had better chances and we were saved by de gea. Norwich lost their next match by 3 or 4 nil. We played Newcastle who had just been trashed by man city and the game over in the first half, but Newcastle almost tore us apart, thanks to de gea. I was against us buying Sancho owing to the fact that when we got Kagawa and mhikitaryan, all from Dortmund and player of the season for their club, they struggled in the epl.
