yea bro of course NN have some rear admirals dat were commissioned via Dssc( As now known) like Rear Admiral Ferguson Bobai former Navy secretary n FOC Western Naval Command Lagos and some others, as regards Naf piloting, the present chief of Air Staff (CAS) was commissioned via short service, some pilots in the naf were commissioned via short service, even in NN, dssc officers can also steer vessel, it all depends on the officer's branch and courses he has attended. Thank you. I have said this same thing but people are not listening. It has happened before, and IT CAN HAPPEN AGAIN. Events are streamlined between NNC and NNBTS with strict timing such that for instance while one set is doing parade drills, the other set will be serving one form of job or d other. It is very easy.
During morning PT d route may also be d same, but of course trainees and cadets are strictly segregated.
Time will tell if I'm right....very soon.

Which parade ground will u use? Sharing parade ground abi? Cadet and Trainee are not suppose to see self. Military minded people ahould understand my point.

peter note that in 2014 dssc cadets reported some weeks after the rating trainees reported to onne and that was the very first set of dssc cadets that started their training at onne.

yea very possible, rating trainees and dssc cadets have different accommodation and system of training. Note that dssc training has nothing to do with that of ratings.

then be optimistic because more officers are required in that dept for regimental duties as NN extends its duties to some states, am sure you know what our country state is like now.

The 200 would be the sum total of the midshipmen presently at onne, those ratings that would get branch commission and number of successful candidates that would succeed to their commissioning this year. So don't get it twisted, nigerian navy standard of commissioning of young officers remains the same.

dear, if ur discipline is not listed among the courses under any branch, then it is not required.

Please, what if one has already passed The IELTS (general option) Meeting the required score, would the agent still conduct his normal online ielts or should just fill it in with prove. Tnx as ur response is welcome.
