Hello house,

I applied for UK visitor's visa and submitted my documents at TLS Ikeja on March 29th. This is to attend the Global Teaching Summit in London that took place between 6th of May to 9th of May.

With all the required documents submitted and even with the round trip flight ticket and all, I didn't get a decision on my application. Everytime I try to track on tls platform, it's always saying my document is still with UKVI.

the lady I am supposed to attend the Summit with has gotten her passport back with a 6 months visa granted, even if it came after the summit. She wasn't able to attend the Summit too.

Now, I'm considering withdrawing my application because I need my passport urgently for a verification exercise.

I would like to know what the possible causes of delay could be and also what steps I'm to take to withdraw my application...

And also any other advise is welcomed...

Please, I would love valuable suggestions of where children can go to have fun that are cheap and affordable. Locations in Ikeja and environs would be preferable.

It depends. In some cases, where the company they are recruiting for urgently needs it, and there list of standby documented candidates is small, they'd recruit immediately. It's worth going for.

Please who has more info on this kind of message gotten from workforce. I remember applying for the job. I just want to know if its worth going for, since I would be coming in from Lagos. I was asked to download some forms also like the guarantor, referee, etc... Hello bro, I wrote the test last midnight but had technical issues when writing the Numerical test. When I logged back in, I was told the test is no longer available.

I already sent a mail to the address in the mail we got.

Using previous recruitment as a yardstick, PwC will shortlist on the 17th, SHL test invite will drop on 20th, we will be expected to complete the test on/before March 3rd.

For those still asking, the test is SHL based verbal and numerical.

Not too difficult, just be extra-sharp.

Break down:

Today I got there around 3pm for a 4pm test.

I made my way into the hall before 4pm and wrote my test.

First it was Quantitative, which I passed and then I proceeded to the verbal which I passed also.

Then we were asked to write an essay with a topic of their choice, not more than 100 words.

Then we later took the PDA Assessment test.

The Quantitative were normal sequences, percentage and ratios, word problems, etc. 50 questions in 1hr.

The verbal were synonyms, opposite words, correct spelings, mini-comprehension, etc. 50 questions in 45 minutes.

No document was verified!

Panel Interview is on Saturday according to Ugochi.

The pass rate is okay....not too many people failed.

All in all, it made sense.

I just wish all of us the best of God.
