Nigerians are found of making noise, exposing themselves with unnecessary attentions. On the street of London, I saw lots of frauds being committed by Pakistanis and Indians yet you'll see them with low key lifestyles. For some of us who have lived years in UK, have you ever asked yourself why almost all Indians GP are Patel's? Let learn how to stay calm! OdogwuEkeke: |

Yeah you got plenty answers to the question if you're attending the school for graduate study. 1. You can help the school as a mentor. Mentoring new admitted students from your country. Be part of university ambassador, even in recruiting etc. 2. You can as well take up studentship jobs, by assisting in Laboratory, researching and workshops guides to undergraduate students of course you should be able to confidently handle all these if you're good and collectives. Your benefits as graduate student is endless I stand to be corrected if am not making sense. Best wishes! EmeeNaka: |
Eya! I felt your pains. With the look of things the university in question has set out approximately time for international students enrollment and so on. I suggest you deferred your admission to January 2022 if they've intake for January. Obviously, this is best option to avoid unnecessary stress and free from undue pressure. Best wishes. Librakareem: |
Yeah, they've started sending letter to students, request for credibility interview as a part of requirements to give out CAS. Possibly your applications might not require any credibility interview before sending your CAS letter. Best wishes! Rabato: |
Sorry about the refusal letter. Besides, I suggest you have to include necessary information in order to expedite the refund. If you have not received your IHS refund and you think you qualify, you will need to email the IHS refunds team at: IHSrefunds@homeoffice.gov.uk. In your email you should include your name, your sponsor's name, your Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) number, your IHS number and the date on which you paid the surcharge. Tolvin: |
Yeah, if the airline has been lifted out of UK red list you can go ahead with the booking. I do flying Turkish Airlines during my undergraduate program from Nigeria to London, London to Nigeria vice visa. Back then they have reliable planes and cabin crews are friendly, only that you need to buy strong travelling bags and try to sealed off all your belongings because Istanbul international airport is very busy airport where lots of passengers bags used to be roughhanded and possibly broken. Have a wonderful flying experience! Mrsmodupe: |
Congratulations. Can you kindly share the context of the work restrictions on your visa. Thank you. pinkasso: |
Refunds You’ll get a full immigration health surcharge (IHS) refund if: you paid twice your visa application is refused you withdraw your visa application You’ll get a partial IHS refund if your visa application’s successful but: you get less time on your visa than you asked for any dependants on your visa application are refused If you are due a full or partial refund for these reasons, you do not have to do anything to get it. It will be automatically paid to the account or card you paid with. You will not get a refund if: your visa application is successful but you do not come to the UK you leave the UK before your visa ends, for example to make a new application you’re told to leave the UK before your visa expires you’re applying for indefinite leave to remain I hope this will help. Best of luck Brother Gunit87: |
I personally think this platform is meant for dissemination of information, especially for those of us that urgently needed assistance for where we are in doubt. I understand that there unscrupulous elements out there who might abuse this golden opportunity but then there is not enough reason to turn an open questions and answers where people can learn to a private hitherto. However, I commend the efforts of those who have been wonderful helpers to all us. Above all, to all evil agents around you'll surely be disgrace at last! Good evening my people. I urgently need assistance on how to get a correct figures for IHS fees. What would be the exact amount to paid for IHS, if my course starts date is 24/01/2022 and course Ends on 03/02/2024. Can someone helps me out with correct calculation. Just confused! |
Eya! So sorry about that. I think there must be errors on the part of consular officer having refused an applicant an entry visa without a ground reasons. I suggest you consult your visa application centre for complaints, possibly you might filled an administrative reviews. Just relax and be courageous it shall surely end in praises! rukkykelvin: |
I suggest you contact your university on this. To be honest with you, payments plans used to be drawn during your enrollment period. specifically, when you've gotten your visa and landed in UK. The finances/ students affairs dept can then ask you during your first enrollment payment on how you desire to remit the rest of your tuition. Some schools give room for 3,4 or 5 installment, it all depends on how convenience for you to pay all. Just try not to fail agreed plans! Best of luck Zinnex99: |
No worries, your previous refusals has nothing to do with your current application. The idea of pre CAS is how you can sell yourself. Above all, your institution just want to be sure that you are real applicant and have finger tips information about your programs and the university itself. You don't have reasons to be worry, all will end in praises! quote author=Greatadams post=105811016]good day house just did my pre-cas interview and i think i did very well but didnt know i was going to be asked about my previous refusal so i told the interviewer been refusued twice one canada one in the USA am just wondering is that going to be a negative to my application[/quote] |
Paying tuitions with fly wire is quite disastrous unless you got plenty monies or you're urgently on a red flag. I do encourage applicants, to apply early as possible in order to make use of banks form A systems. If you are related to Dangote, I suggest you go ahead with fly wire, services are faster and reliable of course as it names implies "fly wire". Best of luck! Egocen: |
I laughed to my intestine when I see people talking without studied or being in UK before. Honestly, as an international student in any of UK universities, you are warned to have reasonable funds before attempting their university corridor. Their motto is No mercy, once you cannot meet up with your tuition you're automatically disable from school facilities, ranging from submitting course work online, turntin, presentation, library and council tax exemptions etcetera. You'll definitely be frustrated and out of focus. However, I will strongly advice those concerns to avoid working above 20hrs a week if and only if they need PSW at the end of the day. Life is not rossy as most of us anticipated. Above all, the UK control systems are perfectly working they have records and only those who abide with rules will be hitch free. Let us be guided! I honestly believed in the first place that you're flying Royal Maroc airline just because is cheaper and cost effective. Of course you need to be ready to pay the price. I flee the same Airline during my undergraduate days from Nigeria to England. Just because I was looking for cheap ticket then. You'll see their plane long like Lagos molue, loaded with different international runs girls that needed to stop over going to Italy & Spain. Omo if possible sort for another airline! samoji84: |
That's nice! Can I have any of your prefer contacts then so that we can be of help to each other in areas of school information & visa applications. Thank you. Rabato: |
Has BCU offered you unconditional admission already for January intake? Guess you're going for postgraduate program as well. Rabato: |
Yeah, there are lots of Universities that run January intake for postgraduate courses. You can checkout Birmingham City University, University of Manchester, University of Greenwich, University of Sheffield, Teesside University, University of Sunderland etcetera. Okayoo: |
Excellent day to you all. I'm seriously confused with maintenance funds issue that I think it's better to ask questions in order not to be nailed. Apart from spouse, should I still need to accounts for £6,120 for a little girl of 2years? |
Let me enlighten you more on this “Visa applications are considered to be non-straightforward (identified as complex) when an Entry Clearance Officer determines that additional information is required in order for a decision to be made and that these enquiries will take longer than the published service standard,” I hope I have explained enough. Greetings Olaola01: |
vivvica:Thank you. I appreciate |
Good morning to all. Planning of travelling to UK with my Kid. Do minors need international passport for traveling? At what age can a child fly without a passport. She's is just 2year. |
simo4real:Going to BCU as well but due to delay in visa documentations & time factor, am thinking of deferral offer to January. Let form a group! |
