English language is not our great grand fathers' own; we all learnt it from our colonial masters. Don't be surprised, even the Britons who colonised us made mistakes too, no one is perfect. I think the lady should have sent her a private message directly into her box where no one can see and it would have saved her the insult she got, instead of correcting her in order to ridicule her.
