Yenisola: What name is on all your documents you are submitting to Vetasses? If it is your maiden name, you may not have an issue with the passport. But if not, then you should do a new passport reflecting your new name. On the Vetassess website, a proof of change of name is also required along with other documents. You can send an email to them with your question for more clarity. My able sabi-sabis here can weigh in on this issue. 1 Like |

Dear e-family, For those who've successfully been through VETASSESS, did you also (or is it neccessary to) upload primary and secondary school certificates? As I thought I only needed tertiary transcripts and work-related documents but the portal is asking for info on primary and secondary schooling. Pardon me if this is a no-brainer but I need to be sure. Thanks all. |

No need for this kind of talk. We all have (different) situations here, but the fact that migrating to Australia is a common factor is what brought us all here, you included. What's on your mind is no one's business, solely yours. Judging from numbers here, this thread is tremendously helpful. If you choose to ask for help, get it but don't leave 'poo' on the way, because you may take the same way back. Bambizzle4k4556: 1 Like |

Greatly informative thread! Thanks to all for the helpful contributions. Please weigh in on this for me: I've taken IELTS (awaiting results). I'm now looking at assessment (probably with VETASSESS). I have a BSc Biochemistry (Uniben) and a post grad diploma in journalism. My concern is my experience is disjointed: HR, media, NGO, with periods of unemployment inbetween with at most a year in each field. Total of 6 years. I'm looking at selecting Specialist Manager nec from the CSOL. Would it fly or could there be a better option or way around the work experience? Please your suggestions/contributions are greatly needed and appreciated. Cc: Bellong, mamajaz, tyosho, everyone on the thread |
