Nigeria is not rich based on our gdp per capital currently. But we do have the potential to be richer because of our available natural and human resources which we probably have tapped less than 10% or at most 20% into.


Also it's cliche but probably more than 70% of our gdp is stolen and squandered by corrupt politicians.

We don't earn that much but we can be better of and not supposed to be where we are presently.

We are poor because our leaders made us so!

I read through the comment section and see some people talking about being lured into military to fight against Ukraine, that’s a big lie, there are over 70,000 population of Africans living in Russia 🇷🇺 and 30,000 are Nigerians according to Nigeria embassy in Moscow they’ve not lured those ones into fighting or maybe their citizens why on earth would you think they will bother themselves to fund university education for 5,000? Kemi could have simply focused on improving the welfare of Britons, tightening legal migration, deporting illegal migrants, and upholding fairness, and she would have been perfectly fine. It’s like when your parents are fighting , and in a fit of anger, you call your father impotent. No matter how you try later, those words can never truly be taken back. That’s exactly what Kemi did.

For Nigerians to forgive her, it will take more than words. She would have to symbolically cleanse herself , to go and bathe in the Osun River at noon, escorted by children, to appease the gods of her ancestors in Yoruba land. Only then, perhaps, would her spirit find balance again.
