But then, Iran has been obliterated, yet they still have ballistic missiles and drones to keep the strait closed. They have been obliterated, yet American bases in the gulf states are constantly evacuating. They have been obliterated, yet Ukraine had to directly enter the war to attack an Iranian cargo vessel. They have been obliterated, yet America is considering ground invasion (which definitely won't end well for them).

No one is saying Iran is winning the war, far from it. But the world is at their mercy, and the world is under more pressure to find a solution to the war than Iran is. You can only bully people for so long.

We know Iran. We know. Trump lied again. Presently in the whole world, there are less than 700 patriot missiles left. Each missile takes close to 2 years to produce. The US simply doesn't have enough to protect it's assets in the middle east. Ukraine has run out of patriots and that's why Russia is pounding them like cheap OS now.

The US would have struck Iran this weekend from Friday night but MBS the Saudi crown prince called Trump and warned him to back the f up. Iran and Saudi Arabia had spoken earlier and Iran had told the Saudi Arabian foreign minister that if the US attacks its vital energy assets, it will equally attack 11 of the most critical energy assets in the middle east, 7 of which were in Saudi Arabia. Now the most important of this asset, has 170 billion barrels of crude in place. That's several trillion gallons of crude that Iran can take off the market for years to come. Imagine what this will do to the price of crude oil.

The Saudi didn't find this cute so they thanked Iran for the heads-up and within minutes, the Saudi crown prince called Trump and he was woken up from his fat and fast food induced slumber.

It is also worth noting that Israel has told the US that it will sit out the next rounds of strikes against Iran. Here's the thing. When patriot missiles are short, imagine how inadequate David's sling and iron dome will get to be. They all use the same tracking mechanism produced by a Boeing affiliate in the US. That company has a backlog of orders that will last years. So there won't be too many patriots coming off the shelves soon. Guess what? Iran, China and Russia now know this. Which is why China is beginning to pressure Taiwan to go out on a 'date' if you know what I mean. Russia too has now increased pounding of Ukraine and all missiles are finding their targets.

FIFA is wrong for wanting to sell part of it's stake to private investors. When Real Madrid and other big teams across wanted to form the UEFA super league, FIFA and other bodies kicked against it, saying it will diminish sports value and so on. Now FIFA wants to toll the same path and you see nothing wrong with it. Those private investors will start dictating some tempo in global football if you don't know. So baba, calm down and try to see the costly effect this will have on global football in the future.

People need to understand the realities surrounding Ajaokuta before approaching the issue with emotional nationalism.

The Ajaokuta Steel Complex was designed in the late 1970s and built largely during the 1980s using Soviet technology. While the plant was based on the industrial standards of that era, steelmaking technology has advanced significantly since then.

Even for that period, soviet steel industry generally lagged behind Western producers in efficiency and commercial quality metrics. Reviving the facility would therefore require more than simply completing unfinished work—it would likely involve extensive modernization.

One major challenge is that many of the original systems, components, and control equipment are now obsolete. Replacing or repairing them may be difficult because some manufacturers no longer produce those parts, making refurbishment both expensive and technically complex.

Bringing in Russian firms familiar with the original design could help with restoration, but it would not eliminate the need for modernization.

Alternatively, engaging Chinese or other international steel engineering companies to upgrade the plant could be feasible, but the cost of retrofitting the facility to meet modern efficiency and commercial need could approach or even exceed the cost of constructing a new steel plant.
