Zonefree:We’re not all like you. |
Still very backward. Where are pedestrians supposed to walk? Inside the open gutter? |
GreenxGreen:What a dumb response. You can actually Google the information if you are not too dumb to research. |
Jlow2:Burkina Faso's Income Per Capita is $670 a year, while Nigeria’s is $3000 a year. Burkina Faso’s minimum wage is only an official figure that pertains to the tiny few who actually get paid a formal salary, with over 80% of the country in the informal economy, mostly subsistence farmers. Access to Electricity in Burkina Faso is 21% of the population. In Nigeria it is 65%. Trust me, you could not survive 2 weeks in Burkina Faso, without calling for your DADDY to come and take you back to Nigeria. The other day one idiot here was saying that Niger Republic was better than Nigeria. When I informed him that Access to Electricity in Niger Republic is 11%, he disappeared from the thread. |
Wike is just enjoying. |
wonlasewonimi:You expect to see all the “economic activities being performed” from your backyard smoking weed? When you get off your lazy bum and step into factories, offices and shops with MILLIONS OF NIGERIANS WORKING IN THEM, your dumbass behind will know there’s economic activity going on in the country. |
Write an ebook on how to make money in a particular line of business. Guys will buy. The only thing boys want to know is how to hit it big. Boys want to blow. If you can supply that info in some concise eBooks with step by step instructions, you’ll clean up. The best way to get the information is to have a beer with someone who is successful in a particular business, and make him spill the beans. Tell him it’s because you want to start the business. Flattery will make him sing like a canary. Use the info he drops to write a step-by-step ebook. I keep telling people that Information is the new oil. |
wonlasewonimi:Private generation jacks up that figure to 10,000 megawatts or more. GDP growth is not calculated by how many megawatts of electricity a country generates. GDP is the sum total of economic activities occurring in a country in one year. I know you are an illiterate, so a simple thing that a 15 year old secondary school Economics student should know has to be explained to you in your old age. |
I’m surprised Rwanda isn’t on list. Well done Naija. See as Ghana chop last, even with their big mouth. |
People chopping money |
This one that Wike is dressed like a soldier. Hope all is ok |
watchindelta:Most welcome! |
OP IS A LIAR THE CEO of Total NEVER said that he diverted a 6 billion dollar project from Nigeria to Angola. He did complain about inconsistency of policies and lengthy debates. And he said Nigeria HAS the educated people, while they struggle in other African countries to find qualified people. The conference, with Dangote in attendance, was highly favourable to Nigeria. The OP is deceiving you, and the Mods took his deceit to Front Page. Full video. https://www.youtube.com/live/mYGNC7L-UXE?si=whmWRr_-7D9Z7-AC |
That summit was very pro-Nigeria and the OP just picked one point made there to turn it negative against Nigeria. I bet he is an Emergency Nigerian. Here’s the full video of the CEO Summit in Kigali. HE NEVER SAID HE DIVERTED A PROJECT FROM NIGERIA TO ANGOLA. https://www.youtube.com/live/mYGNC7L-UXE?si=whmWRr_-7D9Z7-AC |
watchindelta:HE NEVER SAID THAT! I WATCHED THE INTERVIEW. He said Nigeria and Rwanda HAD the educated talent unlike some other African nations. The OP lied. Here’s the video. https://www.youtube.com/live/mYGNC7L-UXE?si=whmWRr_-7D9Z7-AC |
ANSMEDIA:Air Head with Low IQ, how do you know where I am from or not from? Did I tell you? Your problem is you are a school dropout. That is why you reason like a toad. |
ANSMEDIA:You Low IQ responders need to keep out of this discussion. This thread is for intelligent Nigerians, not primitive air heads with sentiments guided by “tribe”. |
nlfpmod:You LIED about the Education part. He said Nigeria and Rwanda HAVE the educated population unlike some other countries where it is hard to source personnel. WHY DISTORT HIS WORDS AND LIE? |
I always laugh when I see these governors building one facility or the other, and calling it a “tourist attraction”. They are so wrong-headed. They don’t understand that tourism begins with the PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT of the city you are asking tourists to visit, NOT the actual ‘tourist facility’. They are not going to spend all their time in your amusement park. They will need to walk around comfortably in a beautiful, clean city or town. So your city’s condition is the FIRST tourist attraction BEFORE any particularly address or location in your city can ever be. Today we are like the man in a dirty, unkempt house who arranged a great feast in his parlour and invited all his neighbours, thinking their hunger was enough to bring them to the feast, only to find himself sitting alone at the table. |
Ofunaofu:Thank you my brother. But these state govts in Nigeria need to prioritise the physical environment. Your environment has to look standard, even to attract investors, not to mention tourists. They must understand that roads are not just built for cars, but for pedestrians as well. Pedestrians are taxpayers, and are ENTITLED to their own dedicated infrastructure. Where the road is wide enough, you must build a wide pavement on each side for pedestrians to walk on. Your drains MUST be covered. That’s the standard all over the world. So a tourist will be considering Nigeria and Awka for “fun park” tourism, and go on Google Earth to see what the streets of Awka where he will be walking around look like. No sidewalks, dusty roads, and open drains. He just clicks away to another country and location immediately. We MUST fix our physical environment. |
I was shocked and petrified to learn that Governor Soludo of Anambra state has been using state funds to build something called “Solution Fun City”, an amusement park, which they say is to “boost tourism”. Please, what type of madness is this? What type of lunacy is this? It is NOT the government’s job to build amusement parks. That is the job of the PRIVATE SECTOR. If you like, go to America or anywhere, it’s private sector. Disney World in Florida is not owned by the state government in Florida or the US govt. It’s owned by Disney Corporation, a private company. Anambra state govt’s job is to BUILD INFRASTRUCTURE and create the enabling environment that will make the Private Sector invest in such leisure facilities. Instead, this BLOCKHEAD called Soludo left all the untarred roads, and roads with OPEN GUTTERS that he should be covering and adding sidewalks to, and lighting up etc, to start building “fun park”? What is wrong with this man? What is wrong with SE leaders in general? NO FOREIGN TOURIST will visit a place with open gutters and no sidewalks. Where are they supposed to walk? On your mud and sand and jumping your filthy open gutters? Never! Fix up your cities first to meet basic modern standards first. Create a secure environment with a very low crime rate. THEN you can start encouraging private sector firms to establish tourist attractions! That’s how it works. You don’t force it by going straight to building “fun parks” while leaving what you are supposed to do first. Sometimes I wonder the intelligence of these SE leaders. Soludo is supposed to be a professor. He has lived abroad. He should know better, yet he’s acting as foolish as a local drunk who just attained power. Ridiculous! |
Bookhub:This thread is about Obi. |
Johilo:But Obi also promised in his campaign to end subsidies “ON DAY 1” of his presidency if elected. So what are you talking about? The situation today would be no different if he was in office. |
Peter Obi in my view does not want any improvement in Nigeria. Improvement of the economy spells a death sentence for his presidential ambition. Why on Earth would such an ambitious man be eager for the country to improve? He actually abandoned his party, PDP, and betrayed his mentor Atiku out of a clear desperation to be president. Such desperation leads one to believe he cannot sincerely be wishing for the best for Nigeria at this time, and likely desires that further calamity befalls the nation, so as to drive Nigerians to vote for him at the next elections. |
Djoel:Load of BIG FAT LIES AND TRASH. “Farmers are not farming anymore…” “Manufacturers are not manufacturing anymore…’’ “Most products are 2000% higher priced….” ALL DIRTY LIES designed to support the criminal HOARDING of food items by greedy merchants looking to make a quick buck at the peoples’ expense. You WILL be stopped. It doesn’t matter how many lies you tell. |
Lastmessenger2:THE NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT WILL NOT TOLERATE HOARDING OF FOOD FOR THE MASSES. IF YOU DON’T LIKE IT, LEAVE THE COUNTRY. NOW WE CAN SEE YOU ARE THE CRIMINALS CAUSING THESE PROBLEMS. YOU WILL BE STOPPED. |
Bmaster:YOU ARE BRAINWASHED. SHUT UP. DID THE WHITES PROVIDE YOU ANY EVIDENCE OF THEIR CLAIMS IN THEIR SO-CALLED BIBLE? EWU. HE-GOAT. SLAVE. |
Bookhub:WE WILL NOT ACCEPT HOARDING. END OF STORY. IF YOU DON’T LIKE IT, MOVE TO ANOTHER COUNTRY. |
