A 21-year-old woman who had sex with her own father before marrying him has been spared jail after her father was locked up for two years.

Samantha Kershner, 21, got married to Travis Fieldgrove, 40, after she and her sister allegedly got locked in a sick fight over who could have sex with him first.

The father and daughter were charged with incest after being accused of having sex in two counties in Nebraska, US. But Kershner pleaded no contest to a misdemeanour charge of false reporting, a plea by which a defendant accepts conviction but does not plead or admit guilt, and got nine months probation.

Fieldgrove was jailed for two years last month after pleading no contest to attempted incest in a deal with prosecutors. The two also face incest charges in Hastings, Adams County, where they tied the knot last October, Metro UK reports.

It has been revealed that Cristiano Ronaldo splashed thousands of pounds on Greek hotel workers during his recent family trip to Greece.

According to Daily Mail, the Juventus striker, girlfriend Georgina, and his four children stayed at the Westin Resort, Costa Navarino, for a second consecutive year but the world's media did not manage to get any photos of the group at the five-star resort, where their stay is believed to have cost in the region of £7000-a-night.

A Wisconsin woman whose birth name is Marijuana Pepsi Vandyck earned a doctorate last month and is now Dr. Marijuana Pepsi Vandyck according to a report published Tuesday.

Throughout her life, Dr. Vandyck, 46, said she’s been teased by everyone from classmates to teachers and bosses but refused to change the name her mother gave her at birth despite lifelong external pressure to do so. She has now earned her PhD in education leadership from Wisconsin’s Cardinal Stritch University. Dr. Vandyck graduated in May.

A 40 year old man has been arrested for allegedly defiling the 2 year old daughter of his tenant in delta state.

According to the court papers filed before the Magistrate Court in Nsukwa, Delta state, Emeka Okwuosa on May 31st allegedly had canal knowledge of the minor after her father had gone out.

He was arraigned before the Magistrate court yesterday June 19th. The court ordered that he be remanded in the Federal Prison Ogwashi Uku pending advice from Directorate of public prosecution (DPP).

Activist, Harrison Emefiena Gwamnishu, who shared the story online, said the victim's father, Mr Johnson from Akwa Ibom state, lived in the compound owned by Emeka. He had gone to work on the day the crime was committed, leaving the little girl with his 12 year old Nephew.

Emeka allegedly sent the Nephew on an errand, creating the opportunity for him to rape the minor. The 12 year old boy was first arrested and tortured by the police before investigations later showed that Emeka defiled the minor. Emefiena organized a protest in the state after the police allegedly asked Mr Johnson for N10, 000 before they could do facilitate Emeka's arrest.

13 year old Olive Nmmesoma Anigbogu lost conciousness during school hours last Thursday June 6th after her class teacher flogged her 26 strokes of the cane at Saint De Apostle High School in Onitsha, Anambra state.

American female rapper Cardi B has canceled the rest of her concerts this month due to her plastic surgery procedures. She is expected to ber back on stage in june after she has made a full recovery.


Her publicist said in a statement , “Cardi was overzealous in getting back to work. She didn’t take the time necessary to fully recover. Her strenuous schedule has taken a toll on her body and now has been given strict doctors orders to pull out the rest of her performances in May.”

According to data received from the Refugee Protection Division of the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada, Nigerians are now the largest nationals seeking refugee status in Canada with 12,138 pending applications as of December 2018.

The Canadian authorities, however, pointed out that two out of every three Nigerian applicants claim to be victims of homophobic attacks. The Federal Government led by former President Goodluck Jonathan had in 2014 signed the Same Sex (Prohibition) Act which outlawed gay marriage and prescribed a prison term of 14 years for persons found guilty of such.

According to the RPD, which is in charge of hearing and deciding claims for refugee protection made in Canada, Nigeria has overtaken crisis-ridden Haiti which was number one the previous year. The total number of pending applications from across the world stood at 71,675 which implies that Nigeria represents about 17 per cent of total pending applications from amongst the over 170 countries.
