Hmm it depends on what we humans define as play, for example i was just surfing d net days back and stumbled upon sm pretty educative things likr tapping a dog on d head isnt good on d dog side,. They dnt like it, hugging a dog too actually depicts dominance. Some dogs might handle it quite well but others wont,so would just say that once you notice ur dog getting too over excited u can call it a day.. Una don play rish

mehn honestly I de vex, my momma got so mad at me when I tuk my dog to my room, we were playing on top bed, see fire when she heard the rumbling sound, she later said playing too much with dog could reduce the trait of aggressiveness ,their security consciousness could decline ..I vex make I just go back travel out and get one to stay with in my bed

thanks man,he's 2years plus.he has done 3 mating dis month alone.he is aggressive @strangers even me @times i'm always very careful.cos I won't like to tell or explain to any1 I got bitten by a Dog or my Dog.Brown gets angry if u disturb him while tired.

whenever i see kynte dog, i just keep my mouth shut..i dnt want to put myself or anyone in danger if i could a rottie, not made for me..

Rottweiler are one of d most dangerous dogs according to a lot of sources but everything still boils down to how you train your dog and making sure his parents temperate goes along with you. Key is socialising thats all.
If a Gsd comes in a fight with a rottweiler irrespective of the age most likely d rott wld either kill or severely injure the Gsd as the have lock jaws
In terms of maintenance of a rottt it requires serious discipline right from the onset cos u have to make them understand you the pack leader, failing to do this wld result in a violent, stubborn, intolerant and aggressive dog.
Feeding of a rottie is quite basic but watch out, they can easily get overweight if not exercised when needed. A large compound would do justice, games like fetch can allow dem run around and burn excess fat. Hope i have answered all of your questions adequately

I wonder why rott is not common in my area, people say rott are so aggressive whereas i have not even seen an adult rott..

this is a male with Very big Head and also has a Very good Height.if you see Him life u'll know how Big he is.This picture isn't cool enough tho.the height usually determine the Offsprings and feeding very well too and also treating them when due.He is a very very very gud Stud very smart and sharp when it comes to that,but not unnecessarily aggressive tho.

a standard Gsd cost between 25k to 45k thereabouts, but a pedegree will cost above 100k
but a rott, mehn since I have been going and flipping pages of rott, I can't tell which is pure breed, so far on the net, the least price of rott goes around 70k above, are they the pure breed or standard breed? if so what is the cost of acquiring a pure breed rott?

Read up online about crate training. It really works but you have to be consistent. Especially since you live in an apartment it's the best solution. Also you can lay newspapers where you would like your pup to poo and pee and take it there whenever it needs to go. Persistence is the key but it's worth it.

Thanks, I actually bought him from someone who advertised on nairaland. (Big ups Bobby! )That's how I found this forum. I feed him a mix of pedigree wet food and diamond dry puppy food. But I'm thinking of switching to arion dry food. Yeah I do have experience with dogs but lately I've been a bit preoccupied. Still looking for a dog trainer. If anyone knows any please let me know. I really would have loved to update but my dog is now late, buy ama try upload her old pics. late major died 4 weeks ago to be precise, d vet couldn't get to her ontym and neither could I come back on gym b4 she gave up as I was in anoda state, aged 3 years, she's a very good security conscious dog but friendly with kids, I miss her. we suspect food poisoning from neighbours who had complained about her in particular, and worse part is that she Neva caused any trouble, she was gentle and only gets provoked when there is need to be
