well its obvious u give ur dog enough freedom, if u want a pet that would bark at sumone banging at d gate nd nt at d sight of sumone den u culd continue dis way till its mature enough to consider ur house its teritory nd defend it. You re already doing a gud job in raising a pet cos u mst love ur dog. Bt if wat u want is a security dog, there re two ways to do dis, d first way is to get an handler dat wuld train d dog wen it is bth mentally nd physically mature, dis kind of method often involves provoking the already matured dog nd neva a puppy to bring out dt drive, this kinda dogs culd be trained to listen to commands nd cn be very dangerous if d handler wants it to be. Nd secondly dis oda method is d one commonly used by people who cnt afford getting an handler or training it demselves, dis method involves restricting a dog movement, dogs in general love freedom, wen dey re deprived of dt freedom dey tend to gear dt energy nd fraustration towards strangers nd therefore barking, frm wat u said u give ur dog enough freedom bt to get it to be d aggresive dog u want u either get a trainer wen she is matured or u ve to restrict it d more, except if all u want is a pet dt barks to d knock at d gate to alert u den u may continue cos gsds will always bark no mata wat. the best u can do is to isolate it.get a cage and put it there.release only at night.dnt give it too much food as this will make it sleep more and grow lazy.u will notice a visible difference with time

Isolate the dog, lock it in a cage and limit all human contact to just yourself for a period of one month. That should do the trick. Your dog is over-socialized. You have probably let it come in contact with every human possible; possibly dog even lives in your house. Feed it once a day.

Dogs become aggressive when they are deprived. That is the key.

Feed the dog with raw meat,cook his food with animal blood,lock him up all the time release him at nite only.ur dog will become wild dog nt just a dog,with all,make sure u give the dog gud training so that it won't become atreat to u and ur family..I work as vet asist.

OP, when Brown was three months old, he never barked, so playful and jovial, he plays with everyone and anything even a nylon blown around by harmattan breez. But, he got too playful with strangers, so we decided to start keeping it in chains to raise his temper, we did and in few days later, our dog developed a deep, growling, snarling voice, it barked at strangers, lizards, birds, except me-his chef.

lol.....its still 5months, give it till 6 or 7months and if it doesnt, just take it to dog breeders for 2wks so as to mingle wit oda dogs, from dere it will build de courage...got a friend dat has a 3mnths GSD it barks lyk craze....just be patient and try my idea

i dnt even know any breeder here in my area,befre we relocated,my former neighbour has 2 bingo female dog jux 2 month older dan my dog,but they bark around whereas my pup jux stay mute,i left them to play fr a long period now,till now nothin.

One key thing u should have is patience, most of these foreign breeds are hardly aggresive as puppies, they only tend to be aggresive as they mature, mostly at 1yr-2yrs old, i once had a semi adult gsd, she was so playfull nd fearful, the fear was as a result of the previous owner that didnt socialize her at all, she would hardly bark at people, tho i saw the potential in her because weneva sumone came into the house, all ears wuld be up, the facial disposition says she wana bark bt she didnt knw hw, meanwhile d oda dogs would bark nd bark, my folks wuld keep on complaining abt d dog having no ginger, since dey were used to my oda dogs ginger, i tried defending her, since i wasnt at home cos am a student, when d complaints got too much, i had to cum bk home to sell her to sumone who wuld appreciate her, i had to sell one of the most beautiful gsd i had eva owned jst cos she was still a puppy, i still follow d dog up, d present owner nw says shez a very active dog nd even bullies sum of his oda dogs, u jst nid to ve patience wit ur dog, most gsd bcom protective as dey mature, males bcom teritorial wen dey start marking, females wen dey feel rily attached to d family or after first heat or giving birth bt mostly wen dey feel or see ur family as part of dier own, gsds naturaly wuld protect wat dey consider diers.nd anoda observatiopn i had in past years is dt most dogs feel reluctant to bark wen dere is anoda dog in d compound doin d barking b4 dey came in nd d moment u remove dt dog, dey tend to start barking or atleast dier barking habit will improve. So my guy u ve a luvly beautiful dog, show her love, if wat u want is for her to bark to allert u, u hardly need to isolate her all d tym cos gsd re usually always at allert, u only need to restrict her freedom jst a lil bit bt if u want her to bark at every single soul, isolate her within ur compound nd socialize her well outsyd, d socialization is nt to mk her friendly as so many people mite tink bt it is to mk her confident nd fearless in diff situations she is used to

Please dont take any of the advises you have been given so far. Definitely no pepper in your dog's food. She is still young at 5 months, still a puppy. Give her time.

Show her love and affection and she will in turn be loyal and protective.

Since i acquired this pup..she was making a slight light barking when she was 3 months, now 5 months nd 2 days old now,
my taliazino often called, zino is so over playful,when she see strangers,she hides. Now people make jest of my dog cozz of that issue,neva bark at all..

I really need to pull the trigger,some said i should add much pepper to the food,but nothing until a time with serious barking,but just stopped..

My dog do bark whenever she feel like,she doesnt bark at all again..i love this my zino dog, but how can i solve the problem surrounding it..making her more aggressive and normal barking?

infact i was almost killed if not for the owners gateman..

Just 5 days ago i went to visit the owner of the parent of my dog for other reasons not for dog matter,i was about to set off home when i sight one female who recently just gave birth,and went to call the ogas. 3 giant male dogs just came frm nowhere,and being a dog owner,i just laughed trying to pester the ogas. Mehn the moment i tried that,my heart froze,i wan die,wit heavy growl and barking,the first one ran his mouth on my head before landing a tearful bite in my right arm,zino's father took hold of my lap,tore my flesh,and the chairman,a castrated and the largest almost gag my skin out of my bone. That's when i realised the dog no be mie mie.

I ran lik a mad man,within d compound bfre d gateman accosted d dog,i wan cry dat day.. I realised the mother of my dog is the quiet type but the father is unpredictable,barking so heavy..
now no wonda my dog love biting a lot.

plz kindly reply me as soon as possible,i have posted earlier concerning my interest in studying at EMU,my reasons for going to study in the said institution is to gather and harvest more knowledge and skills in the mechanical engineering field,i have goals and ambitions to fulfill which i am working toward on...my immense purpose of telling you this is to know more and the process of going acquiring education @ EMU,like i said earlier i jux rounded up m OND,i dont intend to transfer but to start afresh..i know someone might or might not tell me to go back to review the pages or research more on it,i have absolutely done that,just wanted to get things straight for more better understanding..

Now sire,i am currently doing my one year industrial training,i jux needed to gain little experience in handling job before i can start school again like 3-5months..
my questions are
i. what is the application deadline for fall semester,for next year sept 2015?

ii.since am currently doing my IT,when do you think is the suitable time i should start doing my international passport and other process? so i can submit my o level result and passport

iii..what and what should i do in order to be admitted @ EMU..

It seems that there are two types of Orobo chicken in the market. One (fake?) which is giant-sized but is identical to the regular chicken in every other way (tough meat, > 30% bone). And another one, which has really soft meat and very few bones, which is ideal for human consumption.

When I feed my dog with the regular chicken or the tough orobo chicken, I often have to 'force' my dog to eat it by pretending that I want to take it away from him. However, when my dog is finished with it, his teeth are always impressively white, which is very important to me.

When I feed him the soft, meaty orobo chicken, he loves it. He never gets tired of it so I don't have to encourage him to eat it. The bone ratio is very close to the ideal of 11%. However, I don't notice much dental improvement. His breath is ok, but his teeth remain quite yellowish.

I guess I should just learn how to brush his teeth.

Applicants for undergraduate program at EMU must be less than 25yrs..its university policy. EMU does not admit student for summer semester for now so you can only be admitted for Spring (Feb 2015) or Fall (Sept 2015). If your transcript will be a barrier, then you can be admitted into direct year one. You will not need to sit for English test if English is your official language and you scored at least grade C in your olevel result.

but i jux really want to knw something since the deadline is jan,and having jux extra 2 month to finis up the process..can everything be done within the deadline period,both the visa nd necessary document? or perhaps i can wait for fall semester (sept 2015)
and also the tution fees for my course is $4733,does it cover only a year or the entire 4 years..
