I have been following this thread and i have also seen many Kenyans here display some form of Ignorance.

Yes i started with cultural attires because i have searched Sub-sharan Africa and found out that only few countries have truly promoted and appealing attires and Kenya is just not one of them.
In East Africa, the Ethiopians and Somalis have far better and improved attires, the Habeshas, Oromos and Somalis, but i also found out that the Somalis promote theirs best.

Please understand the demographics of Kenya, I already told you earlier Kenya has its Oromos and Somalis, the latter being one of the largest tribes over 3 million.
Thus,Somalis/Oromos traditional dressing is Kenya's too.
I even posted a photo of Barack Obama being dressed by an elderly Oromo man in Kenya unless you wanted to imply something totally different.
Kenya is an EXTREMELY DIVERSE country having both the three major branches of negroid blood lines....NILOTES,CUSHITES and BANTU.

Kenya is NOT A SHIT HOLE puhleeeease!,speak for Nigeria which can be good if your leaders did something like population management/CONTROL,environmental management and superior service delivery(water,power,infrastructure,health,education)
The systems are working in Kenya ,at least.
The government provides services that are superior.....yes superior in areas such as water,electricity,infrastructure,education and health e.t.c
Even environmental protection is world class in Kenya.
Maintenance of facilities is good in Kenya.
A little failure in housing for the less privileged whose numbers I guess isn't even up to Nigeria's huge under-housed /under privileged population(33% OF 180 million),compared to Kenya's 42 % of 43 million.
Good thing is that they are working on this and have already started moving residents to decent housing.

And the biggest of it all is that MY COUNTRY IS NOT IN RECESSION and its POWERING AT 6% or more, KUDOS TO MY LEADERS, AND ALL THESE WITHOUT OYEL.
With all that I think the true GIANTS are EGYPT and SOUTH AFRICA.

Here are everyday urban Nigerians who use their cultural attires as part of everyday life, not just for fashion show off.

Pick a book?...They are both in Kenya and Ethiopia,just like Somalis are in Kenya,Somalia and Ethiopia,just like Maasais are in Kenya and Tanzania,just like Luos are in Kenya,Uganda,Tanzania,Ethiopia and Sudan..etc
People in those rural areas dress like that, in the city its not so much.
