The CCB police have arrested a Nigerian national and recovered cocaine and LSD papers, four mobile phones, a bike and cash from him. The suspect Michael Okafor (30) is a native of Ikeja, Lagos, in Nigeria and a resident of Hennur Bande.


On a tip-off, the police arrested him on Hennur Bande when he was carrying the banned substances. He was running a network to sell the banned substances. He would procure the drugs from his sources in Goa, Mumbai and Delhi. The police are ascertaining for what purpose he came to India and if his passport and visas had expired.

Yoruba language is offered in almost all universities worldwide especially America where it's being learnt by all races. Our IFA religion is so mainstream that even Beyoncé performed dressed an Osun. Serena Williams' sister is called yetunde. Go to Brazil, Spain, Cuba, pretty much most South American countries and you'll see followers of the Yoruba religion. Especially in Cuba where most of them now carry yoruba names and even speak the language. Oyotunji village in America is a huge tourist destination for the black Americans.

I can go on and on but I don't need to. Yoruba is not on the same level as Igbo. We've long surpassed that level. The other day my akata chick was listening to ojuelegba, begging me to teach her Yoruba cos it's a sweet language. Let me not even start today.

I scouted for clues. I'm well aware of the presence of igbos in edo state so I asked and a few told me he was Igbo.

Similarly remember a couple of weeks ago where a man killed his mother in ogun state and we thought he was yoruba? Turns out he was actually Igbo.

The Abia State Police Command says it has arrested a 51-year-old pedophile Daniel Emeka suspected to be luring under-aged boys to his hotel room to sexually abuse them.
The suspect was arrested on March 28th, following a report made by one Ifeoma Ndubuisi over the sudden disappearance of her son, Ugochukwu Ndubuisi aged 14yrs on 24th March.
He was nabbed while trying to escape to Lagos with the victim, who was eventually rescued. The suspect has confessed to the habit of luring under-aged boys to Hotels and sleeping with them. Efforts are in progress toward arresting his likes.

Parading the suspect at the police headquarters in Umuahia along with other suspected robbers, kidnappers, rapists arrested in various parts of the state, the Commissioner of Police, CO Adeleye Oyebade disclosed that a driver with Peace Mass Transit Company killed his colleague during a disagreement.
According to a report made by the Manager of Peace Mass Transport Company Aba, on March 26, the duo of Ugwu Charles and Anaele Chisom, both drivers of the company had a misunderstanding which ended violently and in the process, Ugwu Charles hit Anaele Chisom with an iron on his head. Anaele Chisom was rushed to the hospital where he gave up the ghost the next day. The suspect, Ugwu Charles was traced down to Enugu and arrested.

Tragedy struck at Umuchagu Osokwa in Osisioma Ngwa council area of Abia State when a man, said to be in his early 20s, beheaded his mother, collected her blood and fled the community. The victim, identified as Cecilia Nwanjie, was said to have returned from the farm at about 6.30pm, last Thursday, to meet his son who visited home. After exchanging greetings, Cecilia, according to a community source, went into the kitchen to prepare dinner for the family.


Sunday Vanguard learnt that the victim had been leaving alone since the death of her husband, Nwanjie Onyerionwu, and engaged in menial jobs to make ends meet as her two sons live outside the village. The elderly son reportedly visited home the previous day. Having been assured that no one was at the compound, the junior son allegedly attacked his mother with a machete and slashed her throat, collected her blood and fled the area. The source stated that neighbours were attracted to the scene by a loud cry from the Nwanjie compound at about 7.30pm after which the Cecilia’s lifeless body was discovered surrounded with blood soaked items. A search party was said to have combed the surrounding bushes but the assailant was nowhere to be found and was yet to be seen as of the time of filing this report. When contacted, Abia State Police Pubic Relations Officer, PPRO, DSP Geoffrey Ogbonna, said the incident was yet to be reported.

Nigerian Arrested in Mohammed V Airport for Hiding Cocaine in His Stomach heading for Monrovia

Rabat – Police services at the Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca arrested a Nigerian national, aged 40, for hiding 900 g of cocaine in his stomach, said the national police (DGSN).

The accused, coming from Sao-Paulo and heading for Monrovia, was arrested following a routine operation after the scanner detected suspicious pills hidden in his stomach.

The Nigerian citizen was transferred to Ibn Rochd Hospital in Casablanca, where 83 capsules containing 890 g of cocaine were removed from his body, according to the same source.

The suspect was remanded in custody under medical supervision until he recovers and could be questioned on the illegal substance.
