I quickly threw the tablets i was about taking inside a book and covered it.before i could get to the door she knocked again
Me:holdon....i opened the door and saw her standing ever beautiful on a black gown that covers only to her kneel.i stood staring at her in a woaw manner.she let out a smile and greeted,even her smiles kills me the more,i did not respond to her greeting not because i dont want to but because i dont even know what to answer her.
Hope:john what's wrong,why are u staring at me like that.are my disturbing anything.tell me if am not welcome.....i did not respond.i just kept staring.she kept saying somethings i cant remember probably because i wasnt listening.i was so lost in her beauty.the door was wide open for her to come in but i did not realize i was standing on the way.immediately she turned to leave i got back my senses and quickly grabbed her left hand.i dont know how it happened but i found my lips locked in hers as i dragged her inside.she slapped and slapped but i didnt give up and within 9 seconds she gave in,placing her hands on my cheek,we continued kissing in a rush to nowhere.my hands were walking round her back and i could feel the hook of her bra.for five clear minutes we kept kissing.suddenly she pulled out her lips from my mouth

It was really hard to get a bike at that time of the night so i walked tiriedly to the house passing through the muddy roads of the hausa quarter,my mind was based on how to avenge that soldier man but i dont really know how am gonna do it so i kept thinking of every possible way till i got home,thank God the generator was on,dont asked about NEPA light because i had that for the past 10 years now no light,the wired polls are just there for decoration i think,o ogwashi uku.i opened the door and walked inside,it was crowded with neighbours who came to watch movie in the house,the children sat on the carpet floor while the elder once sat on the chair

The judge raised his head to see who has interrupted him.he looked at the youngman and woman,picked his googles from the desk and wore it back
Judge:don't just stand there and mop,u have rendered yourselves a witness so come over to the witness box.he tried to be bold,he sluggishly walked into the witness box while the girl satdown,she was really an angel(u my readers aint observant at all because none of u ever asked "dont u have a girlfriend and why?" or u guys think i was dogging the girlfriend part and all that? No i wasn't,i am the type that has no time for girls not because i dont want but one of the rules of the fraternity is that the capon would be the first to samba and sample ur babe before u and me i cant stand that so that's why i never admired any) i turned to him,i knew that would be his girlfriend but was i right! Our eyes met,he was really fighting hard within his self wether to say the truth or not.i just absently listened to the clerk swear an oath of truth with him and i was thinking what he wanna say but i knew he was for me and guess who it is! Who else if not Observer.
Bar. Jude:mr isaac u said u have something to tell this honorable court

Judge:this was about 2years ago so how come he is still alive and he said his name nor nickname wasnt sky but u just called him sky,why?....my heartbeat increased,my blood was boiling,now i was totally confused,was he was helping me the last minute and now he has gotten the whole issue complicated,gosh,how do i deny again that am not sky,what would he tell them that made me killed capon,o shit he might even tell them i joined and about those i have killed.not now that i need help most,not now that i don't want to rot in jail.any saviour to come or can the judge temper justice with mercy,i have never heard that judges temper justice with mercy and this man is a no nonsense man.i looked at my dad he was unsettled,i turned to my lawyer he was sweating,i looked at the other lawyer he was wearing a smile all over and to the judge he was curious to know everything and probably sentence me to death.now i regart not killing observer.

Later an ambulance came and cleared the corpse.my lawyer still came back to discus somethings with me.Well none of them had courage to put me into another cell so i walked over to the counter and sat there till it was time for the court hearing
Policeman: oga time for court done reach and motor dey wait u outside......i looked at him with those bossy eyes,he got scared and stepped back a little.if it was before they would had come to the cell,open it and shout "hey flush out and face justice".i looked at him and smiled,the blood staining me had dried up turning black somehow and is smelling.i walked down to the blackmaria and got inside.in no time we were at the court premiss.i came down and i walked into the courtroom into the jury box.soon the judge was in,after all their court ceremony,he adjusted his googles and looked at me like someone watching an horror film
Judge:youngman why are you looking bloody all over
Bar. Jude:my lord,the safty of my cliant can not be guaranted in the cell he has been detained
Judge:and why if i may ask?

Me: (thinking within me)taaah,nigeria police! if i escape now they would now have enough warrantee to lie but me daniel kybee,i pass them bad bad,na me be the one man squad galadima,the only king that needs no man's crewn to be made king...that night i couldnt sleep,i just stood at the cell's gate till morning,each time sharping the surface of the knife on the iron bar of the gate and being that today is another trial day for me in court.my body,including my face was covered with dry blood,this made me looked scarier and bloody with my pumped out eyes like that of rambow when he is angry,facing and looking forward expecting a police officer to show up soon,then suddenly a female officer surfaced,our eyes met,quickly i winked her
Officer: (shocked) blood of jesus...she turned and zoomed off,the next seconds armed policemen were in view pointing their guns at me "drop the knife"they ordered,i just pretended i wasn't hearing and kept sharping the knife,all my mind set was that any officer that would try and play hero by coming close to me would die by that knife "drop that knife now" the order came again and again,i stopped,looked at them,smiled and shaked my head,it was obvious i was exulted in my power and i was willing to die even now but not untill after getting atlest 5 policemen down,then i saw the cover broken,the ipo,my father and my lawyer surfaced through it

For like five minutes i kept struggling.when i realized things were getting out of hand,i forcefully bit the guy pressing my neck and covering my mouth,he withdrew his hand out of my mouth and let out a loud cry because his hand was bleeding.before he could stand right,i grab his head,hitting it hard on the other guy's own,both fell down.as i made to get up quickly my left leg stepped upon something,i felt it that its the knife,i picked it up,everywhere was dark due to the absence light.both ran to the gate trying to escape,i rushed at one and stabbed him to death,fear gripe the other guy
2nd guy:abeg spare my life,please
Me:come,come closer
2nd guy: (went on his kneel quickly)please,i swear i no go do am again.
Me:so if i leave u now,u go go without completing ur mission?
2nd Guy:ah oga,i go go o

Policeman:una don finish? (no response)ha ha,wetin happen(still no response,he on his powerful police torch)wic kind tin be dis,una don sleep under 15 minutes! ha,but dis one wehy blood full ground so wetin happen and why una lie down inside blood abi nah three of una die? (still no response) chai wic kind fuckup be dis,why dis people go do dis kind work dirty like dis eh,person wehy them suppose just straggle nah im they use knife kill(he opened the cell gate)chai wetin we go tell court say nah im kill dis boy now (he kicks the both of dem and then off his torch)abeg una wakeup jawe,una done do bad work for here(no response,no movement,kicks me)ha abi na una three die,hey make una no tell me say dis boy kill una before im die o(he bent to check)

I was in a deep sleep in a nice dream.had just wooed hope and she's accepted me.i held her close and was about kissing her when i felt a sharp pain in the real world.it was as if the dream shifted,paused then played.i suddenly got sad in the dream,she was like asking me what was wrong when i felt the pain again.it was so unbearable this time around.i wokeup and found myself half way off the bed but before i could control my pains and lie well i was already down on that floor
Me:aaah my tommy.*i cried under my breath*i managed to stand up.walked to the door with both hands on my stomach,i carefully opened the door so as not to alert my parents.i knew i was suffering from the over feeding i had and if mama gets to know she must shout.i was feeling pressed and pains at the same time.my stomach was heavy.i began finding my way through the dark.the toilet is out of the house,its an african toilet*pit* dunnnng i hit my forehead on the door.i stood waiting for some time just to make sure papa nor mama did not hear the sound.then i placed my left hand on the iron door and used my righ hand to trace the bolts*i felt the poo almost falling out*i stopped opening the door and tightened my anus before continuing.finally it was opened.i rushed out and entered the toilet.as i pulled off and was about getting fully positioned it was already falling out.as i poo i kept felling pains in my stomach,i was really sweating
Me: o God what have i gotten myself into.hope would be enjoying her sleep now o...soon i felt the poo not coming out again.i rolled out some tissue,cleaned up and was heading to the door when i felt pressed again.this kept on happening until i finally decided to remain in the toilet for some hours.
The next morning i was really weak and moody.when mama and papa got ready for farm,mama probably thinking i was still asleep entered my room.
Mama:so you are wake and still lying down.is it not morning yet
Me:mama am just weak
Mama:ewo,u are weak*used her palm to check my temperature* yes nau the food u ate last night like it was ur last super on earth is working.when a mother talks to a child the child would say the mother talks too much.myself and ur father are off to the farm,go to the table in the parlour u would see panadol extra and pain relief,eat and take them
Me: oo ma.
She walked out of my room.hours later i stood up from bed,managed to make fire and warm the soup.i was just staring at the food,scared to eat.even the rice i hid in my room i brought it out,warmed it and left it in the kitchen.
I went back to the parlour and resumed my sleep.maybe i had slept for some minutes before hearing a soft knock on the door

Hope:i didnt say so,i know so......mehn i was caught red handed and no escape way so i just had to accept the truth.she didnt let me cook,she did the cooking and pounding herself.immediately after cooking mama and papa came back from the farm so we all ate together in silence,she is indeed a great cook.after eating
Mama:john i know u are not the one who cooked this soup nor pound this fufu
Me:ah mama,is that an insult?
Papa:u dnt need to ask him oh.my daughter thank u,u know how to cook a good meal.

We entered bike 120(two on a bike.me and papa,mama and hope)to her house.we got their frontage(outside the gate)the bike stopped,we came down and went into the compound.people were gathered in d compound with a woman snobbing and a young girl,i guess she is Hope's mother because immediately she saw hope,she stoodup and rushed at her with a hug.the father stood staring,others joined the stare
Hope's Mum: (dramatizing)hope my daughter,my daughter u are alive! (she left her,look up to heaven and started praising God)....every body was happy.then after sat down,they welcomed us and served us drink then my father cleared his throat started explaining how he came back from farm with his wife and met Hope in his house then he asked me to continue from there.i did and narrated all that happened to them and how i rescued their daughter.the family gave me a special greeting.well after everything we went home(the family already assured me of coming anything i feel like.well i love that idea because that is my only opportunity of seeing Hope since during that era there was nothing like phone(1998) so its a cool offer).
After we left Hope's house(around 7pm),all my thinking and attention was on just on thing and that is the food at home infact i first mama and papa enter bike and asked them to be coming.i got home,took the pot of rice to my room(i just wish that rice wld never finish and thank God mama didnt enter kitchen when they came back from farm so she dont know about the rice).i dish in soup for myself,took one plate of fufu and settled down to eat.that was when mama and papa came back
Mama:john,so its because of this food u left us half way?
Me:no o
Papa:mama john let him eat infact put our own lets eat too...mama became silent,went to the kitchen and served papa,they both ate together but before they could finish i was already in my third round.i never knew mama was counting within her.they finished eating and mama packed their plates.i was still eating,i finished 3rd round and entered 4th after eating 4th,i was going for 5th round when mama shouted
Mama: john do u want to kill urself?...boi u wnt blame me would u? I wasnt getting filled up maybe because the food is too sweet abi is it love that is sharking me like alcohol?
Me:mama.how?
Mama:is the 5th round u are about entering and u have already emptied one cooler of fufu not eba o
Me:but mama i am not filled nah
Papa:go and drop ur plates,its enough.....i angrily went and dropped my plates in the kitchen,oh yea.why are my even sad self when i have pot of rice in the room.i ran to my room,shut my door and resumed with my pot of but i couldnt finish it,not because i cant but because i dnt want the rice to finish at all.i hide the remaining well and laid down to sleep.i was thinking about the slap when i slept off.i wokeup at midnight with a different story.my stomach was up for revenge.

Because as she talk my head draw closer to her lips and before she could say another thank u my lips was on hers and the next thing was a clean sweet slap on my face,quickly my head came back to normal as i watched her hurried away
Me: oh shit,what have i done.am sorry hope(i shouted out to her but she didnt stop).....oh what a slap.i touched my cheek that she had slapped and kissed my palm
Me: (smiling)woaw,soft hands...i walked to my room and slept off in my thought.like two hours later a knock hit my door.i wokeup and asked whoever it was to come in then the door opened,it was my angel
Hope:ehm food is ready come and eat
Me: (who asked her to cook and where did she get what she cooked it!)food? What food?
Hope:i found some rice in the store and another one in the kitchen,i wanted to ask u before cooking it but u were fast asleep so i cooked it.....i never knew rice was remaining in the store but i knew the one in the kitchen was the three cups i bought the previous day.by the way i was the one mama gave money to cook egusi soup and pound fufu
Me: ok thank u but am not eating.....i was hungry o especially at the mention of come and eat but nna i just want her to beg me and her voice drives me crazy

The world is a wicked place indeed,how would a father stand and watch his daughter die how.tears rolled down my eyes
****FLASH BACK****
That sunny friday about 3years back,i was so hungry,nothing was in the house to eat and my parents had gone to the farm.i used the last money in my hand to buy 3 cups of rice since other required ingredient for cooking rice was in the house.i came back home only to discover that there was no kerosine in the stove and no single firewood was in the house.i cldnt go to the farm bcoz its far from home but we have tick forests surrounding us.i my hungry state i cldnt think of anything else but bounce into the forest for woods to make fire.that particular forest can not be farm on,they said its full of rubber tress and belongs to the government so everyone kept away from it.i gathered a little firewood because i know papa and mama wld bring firewood too from the farm on their way back.then i spotted an animal standing afar,i cant really tell what animal it was but its a rare kind.i picked up my cutlass and advanced toward it,the animal saw me coming and ran some distance away before stopping,i followed it.this kept happening till i had gone deep into the forest and the animal vanished,i had no choice but to start going back but which way did i come from.i was still there contemplating on which way i came from when i heard a shout,it seem like a cry of a young girl,even in her cry her voice was velvety and spectaculating.i held my cutlass well and followed the voice till i was obviously seeing a shrine,tied all over with red and white with scary looking idols incanated with blood.who knows if that is a human blood or that of a chicken,then i saw a girl tied down to a palm tree,she was all alone there in the shrine,i was baffled.she had her head bent and was doing what i dnt know,shld i say she was crying or singing or probably was doing both! I wasnt feeling hungry again,i quickly tip toed to her,she raised her head up and saw me with cutlass.
Girl: pls dnt kill me,let me go.....i just stood staring at her,i was confused and dumb founded why was because i was beholding an angel,the most beautiful thing i had ever seen with her angelic voice.i managed to reply her
Me: pls calm down,am here to save u....without further delay i used my cutlass to cut the rope,she was look weary and weak,i lifted her to my shoulder and tried running with her as fast as i could.when i felt we were far away enough i stopped and took 2mins rest then resumed.i finally found my way out of the bush and made my way home.i dropped her in the only parlour we had,got some water for her but there was no food,i let her sleep a little and kept watch over her,soon mama and papa came back from the farm and saw her sleeping
Mama: john,who is the girl u kept in my parlour**she inquired*
Papa:have u started bringing girls to my house*he quickly added*
Me:no o,i found her somewhere in the forest
Both:forest! What forest? **they both exclaimed** i wasted no time explaining to them how i went in search of firewood and all that,i knew i left no stone unturned
Papa:who cld have done that?
Me:i dont know o papa
Mama:i warned u not to ever go into that forest but ur stubbornness wnt let u.well thank God u came out alive and u saved a life too but i dnt want to ever hear or seen u in the forest again

Mama:has she eaten?

Me:no firewood nor kero in the stove
Mama: oyah ur father and i brought firewood go and prepare something lets eat.i dashed into the kitchen and get yam into the fire after setting the fire.after boiling the yam i served mama them and our unknown visitor whom was already awake.after eating she thanked my and my family and then told us how she was adopted by some unknown men 4 ritual purpose about 4 days ago now,we were sorry for her.when papa asked her for her family name she introduced herself as Eugene Hope .papa promised to take her to her home with the address she had provided the next day once he returns from the farm.well they talked about other things but i cnt tell what it was because i wasnt listening,i was lost in her beauty and velvety voice and guess what i was just smiling all through for no reason and i guess mama caught me becoz the next day b4 she left for farm with papa she warned me after calling me to the private
Mama:come hope its not what am thinking,u better not love her becoz u cnt marry from imo

I wasnt seeing clearly but i was seeing a figure standing close to me,i was also hearing voices.i fought hard till i finally was able to open my eyes fully,i was shocked where i found myself,i turned my head around and saw a nurse standing by the door.i was actually lying on a bed and the figure standing by me is a doctor
Doctor: oh God be praise
Nurse: doctor he made it
Doctor:yes he did....he used his right hand to open wide my left and right eyes and peep into them like someone seeing the future through me after that he used same hand to observe my temperature,i just stared at him so confused
Doctor: mr John E Ekem how are u feeling now?
Me: doctor where are my *i asked him ignoring his own question*
Doctor:just relax and take a rest,u are at immaculate hospital
Me: doctor doing what,where is my wife,pls tell me that those robbers where caught.*i asked all at once*
Doctor:calm down,ur wife is fine and i dont know anything about the robbers whereabout
Me: *forcing myself to get up but couldn't though i wasnt feeling any pain* i want to see my wife,where is she and how long have i been here? *i bombered him with more questions*
Doctor: *trying to make sure i dont get up* calm down,u were brought here by neighbours six days ago without life,i confirmed u dead but when u were being taking to the mortuary ur right finger shaked so there brought u back here but since then u didnt shake again nor breath,i was about asking them to take u back to the mortuary when u started moving ur eyes,then i noticed ur eyes trying to open.
Me: doctor,have been here for the past six days?
Doctor:yes
Me:u said i died?
Doctor: i dont know but ur God lives
Me: doctor my wife?
Doctor: *put both hands on his waist then shaked his head* am afraid we might loose her soon if we don't act fast.she lost lot of blood due to the rape and has a tear in her vagina,she needs immediate attention.a good samaritan who claimed to be a close relative doneted her blood and paid some fee for treatment but am afraid the blood she doneted isnt enough including the bill she paid

Doctor:she has been like this for the past six days....i drop her hand and walked out of the ward,i was actually heading to how father's compound,that wicked man,i wonder why he so much hates me,even the mother. I was on the floor watching them take turn in enjoying my beautiful wife.it was dark all over in the parlour and it was eactly 1am sharp.no neighbour lived very close to us so it would be hard hearing our earlier shouts for help.i had tried all i could to fight back and save my wife but the arm robbers overpowered me,they were 5 in number.i was tied both hands and leg and was made to seat up and watch them rape my wife mercilessly,i couldnt shout because my mouth was blocked with a black piece of cloth.only the torch one of the robbers held gave light as he pointed it on my wife.my sight was blurry due to the earlier beating i had received while trying to fight back,my strength gone,even my body was helplessly weak if not for my soul that gave it life to hope on.my wife was crying and pleading at the early stage of the rape but they paid deaf ear to her,now she had gone silent,as silent as a dead being.only her body moves up and down as the bad guys go in and out of her.her legs were wide open and she was bleeding but yet no word from her,even her eyes were closed which made me began to wonder if she was still alive or dead.i think i found my strength again so i began to fight hard to loose myself and fight to save my wife but i couldnt,it was too tight and i needed an extra hand to loose it off.i managed to force out words from the cloth covering my mouth

‘’what matters the most is what we feel for each other. I respect you. I adore you. I love you and that’s more than enough reason for me to abstain from s-x till we get married’’ I answered, kissing her forehead. Her eyes brightened with tears of joy.
‘’that’s so sweet of you. You are such a gentleman. I really do pray nothing comes between us’’ she muttered softly, getting up from the bed.
‘’good night my love’’ she added, smiled and left the room, leaving me alone with my thoughts and conscience as Pamela’s image flashed through my mind.
I left Pamela in a rough condition and deep down I knew I was yet to see the end of her even though I did the best thing by ending our relationship before it got out hand.

Kelvin’s side of the story continues **
10am, Saturday
With the help of Joe, I got some laborers who fixed my fence while I busied myself tidying up my house, especially my kitchen that was tampered with by the hoodlums. I equally used the opportunity to hide the briefcase I got from my late uncle’s apartment because it really was the only new thing I had in my apartment that could probably be the reason I was attacked in such daring manner.
Later in the day, Joe brought a young Fulani guy to my house.
‘’you need someone to watch over your property and this guy here is the man’’ he said to me with a smile as I assessed the innocent looking guy with my eyes.
‘’you have nothing to worry about him. I know him very well’’ he added with a smile while I nodded in gratitude.
‘’thanks Joe; you have shown what a great friend you are. I will be at your gym tomorrow morning to brief you on my date with Jessica’’ I said to him with a smile. He laughed and shook his head.
‘’of course if you come back alive’’ he joked, shook hands with me and left.

The rest of the afternoon was a bit uneventful. All I did was rehearse and reshape the plans I had for Jessica and prepare for the date ahead. Of course as a human being I was a bit nervous and scared.
Just like my friend Joe insinuated, she could be behind the attack I had the previous night. She could be a wolf disguised as a sheep.
She could be luring me to my death and I had to be prepared for anything.

By 4:15pm, I was in front of Jessica’s house all nervous and vigilant. She soon appeared at her gate, smiling nicely like a beauty queen.
‘’thanks for coming on time’’ she muttered happily, drew close and surprised me with a hug which calmed my nerves.
‘’I guess you must be wondering what I’m up to?’’ she asked, smiling.
‘’yes of course’’ I replied, returning her gaze.
‘’you see every once in a while, I do take out my time to visit some orphanages and contribute my quota to their survival. It’s also something I always introduce my friends to. Something just struck me to involve you today. We can also use the opportunity to discuss and know each other very well as we drive round the town’’ she explained, smiling deeply and leaving me totally surprised, relived and stunned. Yes I was totally relieved in one hand and a bit stunned by the reason she just gave.
To me she was a high class lady, very charming and probably deceptive. I was all out to get her down but so far her behavior, her character and her heart showed nothing but innocence and purity. I honored her invitation, scared of what she was planning for me only to discover that all she wanted was for me to accompany her on a charity work.

‘’I hope you are not angry at me?’’ I heard her ask curiously.
‘’no of course not’’ I quickly replied. She smiled with relief and signaled to her gateman who quickly came out with some cartons of Indomie noodles, children clothes, provisions and toiletries. My car boot was soon filled up and all I could do was just to stare at her with great admiration. I used the moment to examine my life as I realized that I was yet to give out a single penny to the needy which really was totally bad of me.
‘’you know nothing sets the heart more at peace than helping people in need. Have you ever visited an orphanage before?’’ she asked as we headed to the first orphanage located at Aladinma.
‘’no it has never crossed my mind’’ I answered truthfully.
‘’God blessed you for a reason and the least you can do is to help the needy, to touch someone’s life with your help. You can’t believe the number of kids I’m paying school fees for.’’ She added with a smile while I kept quiet.

The evening turned out to be a very long and interesting one for me. I got to experience firsthand how an orphanage looked like and how the kids living there were treated. We visited about five of such homes and I ended up donating five thousand naira to each of them which really was nothing, compared to what Jessica gave out.
When we got back to her house, late in the evening, she invited me inside for the first time.
‘’I’m really proud of you Kelvin. Not many guys would be happy on what I did. I took you to where you never planned visiting and yet you contributed your quota. So you now have the right to pick out the time and place of our next date’’ she said to me with a happy smile after showing round her impressive residence. I couldn’t believe my ears.
‘’wow that’s so good to hear, but really you taught me a very wonderful lesson today’’ I confessed. She drew close, breathed deeply, hugged and pecked me affectionately.
‘’you are such a wonderful guy Kelvin and I really enjoyed my evening with you’’ she whispered, melting my heart with her action and I kind of trembled before her as I tried so hard to control my emotions.
I so badly wanted to grab and kiss her that moment but luckily I was able to hold back myself.
I never planned falling in love with Jessica because she was still my main suspect over my uncle’s death but somehow my emotions were getting on the way and she looked so pure, open minded and honest.
It looked as if I was gradually falling in love for the first time. Or could it be lust??

In silence we ride to chief Soso house but before we got to his house it was already 7:30 pm.the house was a white one guided with fence of about 10 ft tall,there was light shining everywhere in and out of the house,the fence was supported with electric security wire with a powerful gate standing as an obstancle to the entrance of the compound.i looked at observer
Me:is this the house
Observer:yes,this is where he lives
Me: (opening the car) ok then lets go.
Observer: (holding back my left hand)no wait
Me:what again?
Observer:how do we get in?
Me:from the gate of course
Observer:no we cant go in like that,he is being guarded by 8 policemen
Me: eight policemen?
Observer:yea eight of them
Me: (demostrate with both hands)onllly?
Observer:what do u mean by only? Look those policemen are all armed and we came with no weapon
Me:is that all?
Observer: (gave that frustration look) are u insane,u want to waste ur life
Me:chilax,what doesnt kill me makes me stronger,those policemen are all my friends
Observer:you know them(i just smiled)it still doesnt matter if u know them or not
Me:i dont know them and am sure they dont know me either
Observer:then how are they ur friends?
Me:they are my friends because they are my customers.see just chilax and hope u have annouced their obituary
Observer:hahaha,i should have known what u are driving at,u eh u never change
Me:are u in?
Observer:surest nau,am in but
Me:but what?
Observer:his wife and children what do we do with them?
Me:i have no business with them,its Soso i have a fixed business with and am here to carryout the busines deal
Observer:that's good.so we go in through the fence
Me:yea but what of the security wires on them
Observer:forget that thing,nah naija we dey,that thing na toy,pure toy
Me:then lets go but i still have plier and glove...i took the plier and glove,giving him one hand of the glove as we came off the car.observer used his hand to signal me for us to enter from the back,we took those criminal steps to the back fence,i lifted observer whom had sat on my shoulder,then with the plier he cut off the security wire,then i dropped him down,we both jumped over the fence into the compound then our tip toe continued,we saw 5 policemen on guard but only 3 were active but were backing us holding their guns firmly as the other two fools were sleeping with their guns on their laps instead of keeping guard
Observer: (whispered)hmmm that makes it easier
Me: (whispered back)i told u they are my friends(smiles)...we tip toed to their backs and cra cra cra they were down lifeless(u know wadsup nah,we broke their neck) then we walked up to the sleeping two as each of us stood infront of them
Me: (not whispering)u know what?
Observer:what bebe
Me:if i employed any security man who sleeps on duty na sack be next
Observer:yea yea,especially like dis two....they jumped up from their slummber and pohn i pounch the idiot as he hit back his back head against the wall and blood splashed on the wall from his back head while observer just used the head of the other guy's gun to hit him back to forever sleep
Me: (smiling)shebi i told u they are my customers
Observer:hiah u too much
Me: (face changed)now its time to rade inside and tonight marks the end of soso on earth
Observer:abeg give am final respect by calling him chief soso
Me:if im reach hell fire make him negociate that one with devil...then we moved on,we opened the door of the house,we saw just one security inside
Security: (pointing his gun at us)who are u looking for
Me:madman,even for security work english dey hard u
Observer:abi o,my guy its not "who are u looking for" its "who are u guys looking for?"lolz because we dehy two
Security:how on earth did u two fools get in here
Me: (started paravolating up and down with wicked smiles on my face)chief wont be happy if he hears that u called his boys fools so u better act fast if not u loose ur job because the information we have is regarding to chiefs life
Security: (brought down his gun)wait here let me call him then...he turned and started heading to another door,i rushed at him and cra,he went down dead,then we opened the other the security was earlier heading toward and we came faced with another compound or should i say backyard! It was well beautified,then we saw two guys standing at a distance facing a pool,i guess chief soso is inside the pool swimming his last with two women,i looked at observer and he looked back at me,as we were about to take steps to the pool we heard "DON'T MOVE OR YOU DIE" we have been caught but by who who? Observer said they were 8 policemen on guard nau,we killed six already and am sure they died and look the other two standing at distance watching over Soso so who just caught us or is it the IPO We put up our hands as we turned on slow motion and u wouldnt believe who abi na what it was.

Quickly i hop into the car,drove it close.with the help of observer and co we got my unconcious father into the car and i speed off with observer to the nearest hospital where my dad was immediately admitted.i sat impatiently waiting for the doctor to finish the operation,my dad had been shot on his left shoulder and he had lost a lot of blood.i pissed around the hospital walking to and fro of nowhere in particular
Observer:easy mehn ur dad is gonna be okay,he is a strong man(no comment from me)sky u are a man so stop acting like a woman
Me: (shouted out of anger)enough(demostrated with my left hand)
Observer: (stands up and walk toward me)believe me,standing here or walking around here wont help issues.i believe u know who did this but what surprises me is the fact that u are wasting time to do what u are good at.if u need my help just tell me,am always willing to help and u know that...i just kept him quiet and kept my to and fro movement then the doctor surfaced from nowhere
Me: (rushed to him)how is he is my father alive
Doctor: (started that their mumu mumu doctor character)hmmm(shakes head)
Observer:mr man talk nau nah which kind head festive come be dis
Me: doctor is my dad dead?
Doctor:u see we are trying our best to save ur father,those bullets are almost close to his heart and he lost lots of blood already
Observer: doctor u see all the english wehy u just blow now i no got wetin u dey actually mean so just tell us wether the man go die or survive
Doctor:am sorry his chances of survival is 40/60(starts walking away)
Me: doctor please try your possible best to save my dad please(out of sight).observer do u say u would help me(i spoke in anger)
Observer:yes i would
Me:then show me chief Soso's abord
Observer:u mean he has a hand in this?
Me:are u showing me or not?
Observer:why not,i would...then i trued and began walking out of the hospital,he followed me immediately.i got in the car and he joined me then i drove off
Observer:where are we heading to now?
Me:the station
Observer:u want to go and give report,that would be a fuckup sky
Me: (march brake)
Observer: (almost falling off the seat)jesus
Me:would u just keep shut and watch me drive?
Observer:whatever do what u feel like am not saying anything to u again
Me: (starts the car) better that way!

we got to the station,i got down and walked into the station with observer following behind like a little child following his mother,i saw the man i punched earlier and immediatly he stoodup and ran into one of the office there but whats my business with him,i just walked to the officer in the counter
Me: (authoritatively)where is my phone in ur possession?
Officer:wait sir make i help u bring am,i help u keep am well(hurriedly checked his drawer and brought it out)take sir
Me:what of my bag?
Officer: oh no vex,see am here(he handed it to me)...i collected it and turned to leave then i came face to face with the IPO
IPO: (looked at me with an evil eyes)
Me: (still angry)get of my way let me see the leaving
IPO: dont worry,i would nail u soon
Me:try it and u would give ur testimoney in hell
IPO:we shall see
Me:if i were to be u i would start fasting and prayers because ur words don't come through and like i told u before "i dont need ur crown to be crowned king"...he looked at me gravely,i break through him and walk off and observer followed me.i got into my car and waited for him to enter
Observer:where are we heading to next?
Me:to end it all and get Soso down
Observer:hmmm,then let me drive...i stared at him for sometime the got down,he got down too and we switched then he drove off.
