Allegations of Fraudulent Conduct by a Corporation:Case study Jumia Nigeria
Good day guys.I did a purchase of solar panels from jumia on the 16th of January and the order got delivered on the 21st of January.I getting hold of the solar panel I realized it was second panel sold as new panel.I got angry and returned the item back to jumia on 23rd of January.Up till this moment I have not receive my money from jumia it's one story or the other.Today I would be ask to wait 10 business days. After the 10 business days elapse I would be asked to wait another 10 business days. Its just excuses upon excuses.
As a well meaning Nigerian I would not advice anyone to buy on jumia Nigeria.Nigeria has not gotten to the stage of online e-commerce.The lack of integrity by jumia Nigeria and it's sellers is one reason to desist from buying on the platform.Too many unscrupulous element on the platform. You have a very high risk of being scammed on jumia, you might be sold a broken item as good,a fake item as original or a used item as new in my own case and when that happens you would be put on recurrent wait on a never ending 10 business days. You would be waiting 10 business days upon 10 business days it never ends and you payment never get sent.
Also don't let their payment on delivery slogan fool you. That is not a payment on delivery plan. It's just a sham masquerade as payment on delivery.Let me tell you how their payment on delivery works.Once your items are ready you would be informed,on getting to the pick station you would be showed your package and ask to make payment before you can take a hold of it.The packages are usually sealed which you are not allowed to inspect or nothing. The vendor can literally package stone for you as a product which you would have to pay for before you realize you just paid for a stone. At this point jumia would say request for a return where the chance of getting you money back is 50/50.I can as well just take my money and put it on 2odds so I know I'm at a gamble house. This is not how true payment on delivery works. If I cant inspect the product at the point of the delivery then the payment on delivery is as good as useless. You might as well just pay at the point of purchase and face the uncertainty, no difference.
Jumia Nigeria refund my #153,410.If you are looking for who to steal from,go steal from other multi-millionaires like yourself ,I can't can't afford to dash you guys #153k, I no dey pluck money from tree. Here is the email address attached to my jumia account k2fresh3000@yahoo.com,here is the return number of the package RF1339669932-5897 |

Gbagura: Stop playing. There are 'dirty and razz' businesses he can get even more than that daily. If he has let's say 3 POS stands and they give him 4k daily, that's 12k daily profits. It's so feasible if he has them in good and secured locations and mind you people make more than that. 12k in 30 days is about 360k if my maths is right. Minus salaries of 20k to 25k for his 3 salespersons monthly depending on the location, he should be having about 280k left for him.
Make I no too cast updates jareh Thanks a lot for the idea. |

My guy forget Keke business. There is no growth prospect for Keke business. How many of the people you know riding Keke are living an enviable life.Start the gas business in a good location and in some few years you would surpass whatever you would get in Keke business, with lot of growth prospect in sight. |

Can u explain how to go about betking or I should go for bet9ja. Bet9ja are no longer accepting new agents.Your only option is buying an already existing account. |
Business › How Are You Coping With The Hike In Fuel Price:Video Game Arcade Business Owners by l3st3r(op): 8:21am On Jan 30, 2023 |
Good day guys.I own a video game arcade and a betshop. The electricity is very poor where I live of recent. We don't get power more than 1-2 hours in a day,so I rely considerably on Generator.I mostly have to on my generator from morning till night.Petrol has been selling for #500 per liter in my area for sometime now and it has affected my business drastically.I could barely break even now.I tried to increase the price of games to cushion the effect of the fuel increase but failed, as the customers would not bulge and instead just refuse to play .The price for PS 3 in my area is #50 per game and PS4 is #100 per game.I increased to 2 games for 150 for PS3 and 150 for a game in PS 4.Majority of them refuse to play, just some very few people played at that amount ,which is not enough.I am just confuse on what to do next.
If you own a video game arcade or an electricity dependent business, please share your experience or your coping mechanism to cushion the increase in fuel price,so we can all learn. |

Please I am very much eager to learn. What are the things I need to implement in my betshop to increase sales and what are the other offline businesses I can do to make daily profit. LogicallySXT: You started this bizness wrongly and that's the reason you didn't meet your expectations.
I currently have 2 betking shops and they are doing well.
There are some criteria and conditions you must access before you begin. Betting business is a very profitable venture in the present day Nigeria but you have to leap well and Management also matters.
I can also guide you on some offline businesses you could involve in and get daily profits. |

Thanks for the advice albanikeh001: Nigerians are just naturally self centered and selfish. Someone has #700,000 that's more or less his life savings and he is looking at how not to waste it at another trial. Asking him to give you the money so you can use it in your business or stupid partnership is basically wickedness, because when he gives you that money, you will definitely put your interest first before his. Oga OP, if you don't want stories later on with people here, don't part with your money to anybody here. Trust me, it will end in cock and bull stories. Secondly, sit down and think carefully what you can do with the money. 700k is very little to run a business in present Nigeria but there are some businesses that can still flow with that amount. It's all about praying, thinking hard and executing it judiciously. Wish you the best |

maverick1995: Similar case. I run a betking shop for my friend while I started the gaming part. Honestly, sales is poor for the bet shop but I make an average of 3k daily from games. 1,500 on a bad day. We are considering selling off the Bet part while I still continue with the gaming.
I'm hooked on the transportation niche, still with same 500k budget. I'll get a cab, employ a driver & enroll it in Rivers State University to commute students within the school. That way, the motor doesn't get spoilt quickly & the driver won't mess up since their service is being regulated by a body within the school.
I do POS business too. 500k can set you up in a good location. Just make sure you charge lesser than your competitors & you have money readily available; both physical & virtual. Is this amount after fuel buying and expenses or before you take your fuel/expenses out. |

Tekkyboy: I'm into piggery and phone accessories business and both business is doing well,as for piggery you invest and start making money after some months but phone accessories is everyday profit. Thanks a lot for the reply.I would like to know more about the piggery and the phone accessory business. The piggery business,do you allow them roam freely or you build a pen for them.i also thought about the phone accessory business sometime ago but I realize it needs extremely busy location for it to be successful. To get a vacant store at those locations is very difficult. You would to wait for months.Which you probably still might not get. |
