Dear AudreyTimms,

The fact that you're consistent, You don't get angry and you always keep we your readers in mind are those qualities I admire most in you. In less than six months you started a story and you finished it. Now, that's what we call writing. You're such a rare gem and I love and adore you for that.

Letting Go....Hmmmm! It's a story that fun-filled and with deep twisted lessons. Learnt so much from the piece and I pray that your source of inspiration never run dry!(Amen).

I can't wait to read the next story. Its also gonn be a promising story just like this.

Hope to meet you one day.
Love you like Ice-Cream.
Ciao!.
I totally agree with this! Audrey Timms you are a very considerate person and you have got great people skills. You take out time to explain to ur readers reasons for delays and you put in so much effort in ur updates. I wish other nairaland writers like repogirl can inculcate this habit of starting a story and finishing in good time. You people may not know it, but your stories are therapeutic to some of us. Good work dear! Better days ahead.

Hello everyone. Been following this thread silently. Well I applied to TRPS. Got to the partner stage. Did the interview last week. In the course of the interview, the partner pointed out that I was not mathematically inclined as I had C6 in maths and E8 in economic for WAEC. He said I may find it difficult coping with ICAN and Tax activities. Bottom line, got a mail today, recommending me for KBS, kpmg business support, a sub unit of tax, but that they were not recruiting and so my recruitment is on hold till further notice. Only God knows what that means. Anyway, just thought to share my experience I wish you all the very best.

@rapmike when pple complain about updates being slow it means one thing only ....that they are enjoying d story and the writer is doing a superb and wonderful job, its not like they don't understand that there are other circumstances beyond the control of the writer. I followed repogirl's story titled false pretences, I was so glued to the story dat I was checking for updates amost every day till I got tired. Das y I sed she's always doing this thing.

In my own case, am 26 and I jst concluded my masters, but I really see myself with a doctorate n the nearest future. Infact to prevent wasting my time I intend going abroadd for my phd which is like 3 years compared to nija das like 5 to 7 years for full time phd in some universities like I sed I reallly love to lecture tho I havnt gotten d job yet but am working on it. When I mentioned my plans to get a doctorate abroad to my folks, dey were kina skepticalll. Dey want me to get d hd alright, but wud prfer me to be married b4 I do that. Which is nt supposed to be a bad idea if I had a fiancee or even a boyfriend sef. But I have been single for like 2 years, and I jst dnt think I shud live my life waiting for marriage to happen first b4 I do sometin gud with myself.

@op most of the things u sed, re from the message the "myth of singleness by myles munroe of blessed memory. As a single lady, I intend to pursue a doctorate soon, as am done with my masters and also because of my love for academia. But the pressure from society for a lady to get married is very very high. And its worse when ladies of 30 and above are becoming increasingly single.
