Vice Chancellors deny fixing post-UTME screening fee
The Association of Vice Chancellors of Nigerian
Universities (AVCNU) has denied reports that the
Federal Ministry of Education and other stakeholders
in the tertiary education sub-sector have agreed on
N2,500 as fee for post-Unified Tertiary
MatriculationExamination (post-UTME) screening.
Secretary-General of the association, Prof. Michael
Faborode, who disclosed this in a statement made

ASUU Attacks JAMB Over New Admission Model

The Academic Staff Union of Universities(ASUU), University of Ibadan chapter, has faulted the guidelines released by the Joint Admission and
Matriculation Board(JAMB) for admission of candidates into Nigerian tertiary institutions stating that JAMB acted beyond its powers.

According to the union, the Senate of Nigerian Universities has the mandate to regulate admission modalities as each university has standards which are not subjected to the whims and caprices of any government appointee.
Speaking, the Chairman of the union, Dr. Deji Omole, said both the Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu, and

I had my result which is 1 sitting but I wrote AR while filling the JAMB form because I wasn't around, please do I still stand a better chance of gaining admission this year if I can tender the whole result for the screening?

Go to CITS and explain to them.

I think they will conduct the post utme this year cos most schools have even written exam not that they released screening form.They shuld just make a standard price for post utme for every Uni and conduct the screening cos to me,i don't trust JAMB with the nonsense scores they jst dash ppl.

Anything FG wanna do shuld just be next year not this time when schools are almost done with admission process.
