The headquarter of the popular social media platform, Facebook has been completely evacuated following the recent bomb threat of their office at Menlo Park in California.

The police took swift action in searching the entire building for any trace of explosive but found none at the location.

Paul Adefarasin has gone to his social page to give the story of how 'House on The Rock' and 'The Experience' came about.

Here is the story
More than 25 years ago, as a returnee from the USA and the U.K., who was seeking for a permit renewal from the U.K. High Commission to go back to pastoring the little church I presided over in the city of London, I had my application deferred for further investigation and in spite of earnestly praying for God to open the gates of the U.K., the decision remained unchanged.

Then I shifted from praying towards reentry into the UK to now praying for the knowledge of God’s will and for Him to perform all His counsel in my life; God then spoke and said: "I have given you a mighty church here in the city of Lagos". Questions like "where is the Church” and “who will hire me to pastor a church” came to mind but God's response was " the Church is in your heart". Hence , I knew that I would travail in prayer inwardly to birth outwardly the Church that God had put in my heart.

On Friday night, 15th July that same year, 7 of us gathered together, including @ifeanyiadefarasin, then my fiancée, and we prayed and worshipped all night long. That was the beginning of what we now know of as the House On The Rock and The Experience Lagos. Then 25 years ago, who would have thought that anointed ministries would come from all over the world and hundreds of thousands of people would gather for a concert like The Experience.

This only reinforces the truth of God’s word that says there is NOTHING impossible for God to do and EVERY promise He has made you, no matter how improbable, He is able to bring to pass.

Of recent, The Nigerian singer by the stage name, Small Doctor has not been having the best time of his life as he was arrested by the Lagos state police due to the illegal possession of firearms (guns) and the indiscriminate shooting.

It was reported that even after he was taken to the police station at Agege, Lagos state he also threatened to shoot the police officer on duty, reports has claimed that these offense committed by the singer can amount to 15 years imprisonment.

But despite all that, the singer still went up to his Instagram page to post about his upcoming concert which is to happen this December, he wrote

"Believe in GOD, All power Belongs To God, Thank You All For The Love & Positive Vibe, Omo BETTER Doing Great".

I woke up early this morning with a thought that bothered me so much, it has been bothering me in the past but today was more. It is the problem of schools in Nigeria or probably some other parts of the world.



While growing up, we were taught by our parents or guardians that school is a place where you go to shape your destiny, a place where you go to so as to become “someone” in future, but when you grow up, you tend to see life in a whole different way.

Schools in a way have streamlined some people’s mentality to think towards just one direction, which follows this sequence; go to school, do your service (NYSC for a year), look for a good job (if you don’t get one, keep looking for), get married, have kids and die. There should be more to life than all these.



From statistics, it shows that a high percentage of the wealthiest men in the world dropped out of school to chase their dreams to get where they are now because schools were more of a distraction to them. Take a look at Bill Gates who quit school to go start up Microsoft, take a look at the richest man in Africa and Nigeria, Aliko Dangote who dropped out of school to become a serial entrepreneur, Larry Ellison the owner of Oracle who dropped out of the University of Chicago, Michael Dell who dropped out of the University of Texas to start up Dell computers, Paul Allen. The list is endless if I choose to continue, but I believe my point is passed out from the few names listed.



I am not really saying people should start dropping out of school to start up their own business, what I am implying here is that if schools can add it to their curriculum each term or semester, it would help the student develop their skills in other areas. I really love what the school, Covenant University is doing, bring up a course called EDS (Entrepreneurial Development Studies), each semester the student have a compulsory practical of the course which involves barbing, catering, fish farming, tiling, perfumery and many more which carries about 50 percent, sometimes even 100 percent of the course, that way it would groom the students up to think of other ways of self sustenance and take their mind off adding to the crew of unemployed youths.

Let us get off our butts today and make the educational system better…

An overweight woman weighing 300 lb have been said to have murdered her boyfriend by sitting down on him. The woman by the name Windi Thomas has pleaded guilty to the accusation of the murder of keeno (her boyfriend).

Her lawyer claimed the killing was in no way intentional as she was drunk when she collapsed on her 120lb boyfriend, but the prosecutors stated how she battered him and stabbed him before sitting down on him.

She contacted the police on 911 to report the case of her killing her boyfriend.
