Bro no way or process to know any iPhone history sir. I have resolved numerous crime cases with NPF through the tracking of smartphones imei. Lot of innocent people also fell victim of brand new sealed iPhones let alone a used one. I have just two tips for you.. 1. Get a solid proof from the seller, either a written agreement with his ID attached or he send you the imei with his personal phone number and 2nd, keep a close tab on him and know how to locate him whenever need arises, in other words request his account number in transaction .
Countless folks in prison because they can't locate the person that sold the whaala in their lives. God speed!

Obviously this a light-out motherboard issue! Boost the battery via desktop battery booster and charge it 100%, believe me it'll need another boosting to power up again if the battery runs out again.

the battery over - discharged so the protection circuit is triggered and isolated the battery from further discharged. You have to remove it and boost it to a certain level so as to disengage the protection circuit and reactivate the charging system. Read about it online.

The touch screen is cracked but was functional.

Abeg gurus come to my aid. There are only two options and they are in blue. Are you sure this is a case of clone rather than jailbreak? Meanwhile there is as root app on the iPhone called Kinguser.

The easiest way to know a clone iPhone is to navigate to 'reset' option page under settings.. all the given option has to be in blue letters and 5 different option unlike a clone iPhones with just 3 options and letters in black. Go check that out bro.

Very interesting. I will be shocked if this turns out to be fake. I must admit that I am not knowledgeable about iphones. I have called the seller who I bought it from but he told me it was sent to him from the UK. The twist is that he has given me an option. Says he is expecting more phones latest next week and will swap this for me. Says if I still do not like the new one then he will refund my money in full to me. My puzzle is that why will he offer to refund my money to me when he could jus run away with it.
