Hello Everyone,

Ok, I was the person that asked what the implication of submitting a bank statement of exactly 28days was.I printed from 26th of April to 23rd of May, paid for IHS and ViSA on the same 23rd of May.Some said it was 27days and I was supposed to print on 24th to make it 28day according to the UKVI rule.

Long story short;

I collected my student partner visa yesterday.

Bio 26th May

16th June, Empty NSF

Decision Made 5th July

Moved to Vac 12th July

Received by Vac and collection mail 13 and 14,I received it twice.

Picked up on 14th for myself and daughter.

Extra things I added to my application apart from the basic documents were;

Sworn affidavits of subsisting marriage.

Chats history from 2020 about 5 pages.

Lots of pictures starting from courtship.

.....and ultimately PRAYER.

Also, I didn't touch my pof, used hubby's SOA, same as one submitted when he applied with the same amount that we shouldv had assuming we applied together (he has travelled since Feb).

He has about 2 percent of tuition fee left, we never deducted what he has paid so far or his expenses from the pof. We wanted to since there were proofs but to avoid back n forth with ECO, we didn't.

We were two that had same "27 days" pof issue and the guy with his dependent were also issued their visas.

I found out ECO usually count backwards starting from the 28th day.If this was what worked for both of us, I wouldnt know.

ECO will ask for the MA statement of account if dependents use his or her personal account. Better they apply together or they use MA's account that will have the balance of MA 's school (if deposit only has been paid), his living expenses (1023*9months outside London) and dependants living expenses.

Yes, opening date was 26th of April and closing date was 23rd of May as stated on the statement.

if the POF was intact fromm 26April till 23May, that means you printed exactly 28days. 26th April is the first day and as long as the end date on the statement shows 23rd you have nothing to worry about.

But not to worry if they send another NSF requesting for another statement you can always reprint.

Applied 23rd of May, same day as when it was printed.

I also received nsf yesterday but nothing was asked.

Take out your laptop and use google search and type each course on the search bar and check the universities in the Uk that offer it.

Pls house!So hubby is already in the UK, we want to join him soon but we are having issue getting accommodation. Where he is now can not accommodate us (family of 3).

1.Can we book a hotel or Airbnb pending when we will get accommodation?

2.Would that suffice as answer where we were asked to give brief detail of our accommodation in Uk as dependants?

Please my dependents did their biometrics on the 11th of Jan, When I tracked it on TLS dashboard this morning, it is still at DMC but I got a mail from TNT by 8am this morning that their BRP is out for delivery to the school. Has anyone else experienced something like this because it is somehow confusing. Application status is still DMC and now BRP has been sent out for delivery for them.

An agent told me that they request for POF before issuing CAS. However, this was not explicitly stated in their conditional offer. I am waiting for their unconditional offer to know if such would be mentioned.

Yes, if fully vaccinated, you book only day 2.

Some airlines still asked for pre-departure test regardless of wether one is fully vaccinated. Best to consult with the airline directly.

Don't use a separate account.Use your husband's but make sure you add your own POF and if he had spent part of his POF,show proof i.e school receipt

I stand to be corrected but someone has come with the issue she faced with the POF where they found 600 naira in the main applicant already in the UK. It looks like recycling of fund to them.

My advice is for you to still use the husband account but make sure u add you own POF to that ur husband own (it the POF of ur hubby was 10m + your own and the children). Because they don't expect him to have spent all his POF in less than 3 month. I hope this helps

This your agent is indeed a problem.Now you have to spend 11700 to upload one document.Ensure you ask him if there are other documents you need to upload that he might have also forgotten so you just take them along.

You don't need to keep sending new paid mail.Once you send the first one and they respond.Keep sending subsequent mails via their response.This method is free.

Let everyone keep pretending like that guy didn’t recycle funds for the dependent permit & got caught. You paid tuition & living expenses within 2 months to get to 600 naira balance lol. As though one can easily move such funds out of Nigeria easily. Even if you paid tuition in full, bank cannot process more than $5000 upkeep per quarter. Except she changed all her funds via black market. He is just among the few unlucky ones that the ECO actually went out of way to check. What do I know anyway, let me join in the pretence and also suggest AR .

This case is very straightforward. If your wife had spent from her pof, show evidences i. e school receipt, evidence of a rented accommodation etc after deducting all these, the balance should still be in her account.

These evidences must be attached to your application including her balance I believe.

If she has tranfered the balance to her account in the UK. The she needs to provide a statement of account and I believe it must be traceable to her Nigeria account (not sure about that).

And to be honest, there is no way, she could have exhausted her pof within two months.
At least, the balance of her expenses must be in her account which is 10months expenses either in pounds or naira.

If you can provide all the above. You are good to go with AR. Otherwise my brother do your homework and re-apply.

There's no way her POF would still be on her account at this present time. Reason being that she must have paid for accommodation, Tuition installment payment, feeding, logistics etc..... The POF must have been depleted by now.
