We are waiting for screenshots, both screenshots of the PM you claim to receive from the supposed person that tried to scam you, showing the time, title and sender, the phone chats, and also the person's moniker. Hope you are not spending this time doctoring some screenshots for the house...

Eripecs your sister should be very careful....I would advice she doesn't go there alone. We shouldn't just be wary of scammers, kidnappers also come in various shapes and forms. This one he's so keen on face to face transaction. Let him not kidnap your sister and demand for ransom. angry

He probably saw that you were a newbie here, because you see the sender's moniker in every PM you get. It's quite strange he/she will send a PM with his/her account and still claim to be somebody else. That means you should know his Nairaland moniker. Please post it here too. Let others be aware biko.

Someone contacted me by email asking me to send skrill funds that she is LadyF on nairaland. So I came here to check the name and it was clean. Then I asked her to make a post here... and that's when story started.. he abi she then said she was having network issues. That was when I then knew it was fake and insisted we meet in person.... later on she said okay we should meet I agreed and we decided to meet in an eatery. My brothers and sisters til now the number has been off... be careful I was told nairaland is very dangerous with scammers . Am new here and I was wondering why anyone will want to welcome me with such bad thing...

My Rules: I have $600 skrill and if we can't meet don't even quote me. Rate #340/$

Sometimes we don't value things that didn't cost us a dime. I'm sure if she had used money she worked for day and night to buy the phones, she will be more careful.

That's the "unimportance" we attach to free things sometimes. Buy her phones of like 2k for calls and SMS. When she has money, let her buy her things from her own pocket! angry
