Are you using a third party font. If yes that is the root of your problem. Get a font from the theme app by changing region to India, select and apply and return back to your country of origin.

Something similar happens to me on RN8 Pro

If I use a picture from my gallery as wallpaper and lock screen it changes back

And yes i am using a font from the theme app

Like I recently told someone on here, this entirely depends on the features you need.

I usually start by going to gsmarena where i do an advanced search.
I select the features dt must be presenf like oled screen, band 28 4g, underdisplay fingerprint, and the list starts to shrink. I finally have the phones i can use.

For you an ir blaster, ip rating or even headphone jack may be absolutes, and dt may give u a slightly different list. So you should try that. Play around with it till u have it down to 10 or 20 phones.

But if you want phones like mi 9 and price isn't a problem (n u don't want to do research) then just close ur eyes n grab any of the flagships like s20 or oneplus 8 or latest mate series. You'll be okay with any of them

If you've made up ur mind about the mi 9, you should be patient. It's a good device. But Ofcos there are others like it, though probably above its price group

Switched from Samsung to xaiomi just to get a new experience during this lockdown! Bought the note 8! From my experience phone is very smooth faster than my S8+ self! Screen is bright although not as good as Samsung! Camera well it's android if u need a good camera Apple is your guy! That's one thing I don't understand about all these android they have 108mp 48mp still yet an iPhone with just 12mp will destroy them in photography! Well aside camera phone is dope! But if u want to boost your photography just download gcam for Xaiomi note 8!

I am a novice and i want to ask. Why do people always say something positive about that gcam? Is it that great?

Still going very strong, battery still superb. I dont use a casing or screen guard yet the fone is without scratches (maybe i am just the careful type). It will be a year old next month. Never a dull moment with it. Will use it as a spare fone once i get the Mi Note 10lite or RN9S.

Help us stock Mi Note10 lite. That's like the best Xiaomi fone at the moment

Software can cause display issues. Like OnePlus 8 Pro Green tint issue was fixed with an update

But initially there were issues? Please educate me is that not meant to be an issue related to hardware?

I think note 9s should stand has latest max for max lovers. I doubt xaiomi will make max series any better, may be additional 500mah or so.

Yeah i figured, i don't think there's a perfect smartphone though.
If it's negligible i still won't mind.

I just hope most of these youtube reviews are exaggerating about the screen/display issues of the RN9s or it is not as bad as they potray it.

I really hope to get the phone and i look forward to getting a nice experience for the first time using a xiaomi device.

It is easy sir.. Download the desired torrent app from Playstore, loads of them are free... search for the torrent of whatever you want to download, then download using the app you installed

iphones cameras are sharp especially their protrait mode unbeatable until recent Samsung and hauwei phone but the thing I used my redmi k20 pro with gcam it was on par with the iphone sometimes better but I will give it to the iphone for the potrait mode and video recording capability
Mhen iPhone videos are really excellent I can attest to that
The video capabality is where my phone really trailed behind the iphone. But for photos Gcam is a big cheat
I used my phone with gcam vs s10 plus without Gcam
The photos from the k20 pro beats the s10 plus, this weren't mainly my decision as I could favour my phone

Let me check if I could root out some of my old pictures
