I see this thread and the people as dear ones even though I barely make comment,I dnt think there's ever a day I dnt visit the thread. Such a lazy person to type but thank God we are not all the same as I have learnt a lot from the thread. It was here I heard abt mucus plus,so when it showed I didn't panic as I already knew what it was and a lot of other things.

On that Wednesday, I was to have an appointment with my Dr and I had decided to ask him to fix a date for c-section as I didn't want to fall into labour with the baby in the wrong position. I started feeling contractions are 1am that morning about 12-15mins apart all through the night but subsided by dawn. I called my Dr and was told to just wait till my appointment time which was later in the afternoon. Felt irregular contractions all day so didn't feel the need to panic. Got to the Dr's place around 4pm,had the regular checking, baby was in transverse position,He tried to turn the baby again but she didn't budge and decided that a c-section was inevitable and we were to decide on a date. At the last minute the Dr decided to check if I was dilating as I was still having irregular contractions. And lo and behold I had gotten to 8cm . Dr was shocked and was like we have to get to the hospital immediately as we couldn't afford for the water to get broken as there was a risk of the cord getting detached and putting the baby in danger. We were to do a c-section immediately and I was booked to have it for 7pm.
Got to the hospital around 5.30pm and the rush began to prepare me for the OR. Then I started contracting like every minute. I was in active labour and felt my water gushing out with each contraction. I was placed in a position that would reduce the chance of cord falling off. I got to a point where I had the urge to push but was told not to. I started shouting. I was like, "what's the point of all this pain since I was going to have a csection?" Chai,I wanted to die. I started shouting "ok, give me epidural so I dnt push", "give me epidural ooo", "I would push ooo" , "in fact I'm pushing I can't hold it anymore"
So I was rushed into the OR and given epidural then they decided to check the baby's position again, position had changed to breech. The next thing the Doctors saw was a foot, then another foot coming out. At that point the Dr decided it was safer to birth vaginally. So my baby's legs were tied together and something was done inside me then I was asked to push. And with my whole life I pushed once and out came the baby at 7.19pm. And there was great relief.

I hope it wasn't a long,boring story.
Left the hospital 2days later,I'm trying to recover,the pain down there is not child's play. I'm doing my sitz bath religiously and hoping the pain goes away like now now.

I got 2 medium sized tomatoes, 2 tatashe, 2 red pepper and 1 medium onion and blend them all into a puree and set aside.
Then i washed the soft bones i bought from beef sellers well and put in a pot added knorr, salt and chopped onions and boiled very well till the bones became soft.
I got another pot, added 3 tablespoon of canola oil, you can use any veg oil of your choice and heat it up for 5 mins then added my tomato mixture and fried for 3 mins b4 I added my soft bones and the stock and allowed it to boil very well,
then I made a paste of the white corn starch (akamu) and added to the fried tomato, then I stirred continuously while it forms like pap.
I brought it down from the burner to cool a lil.
I washed my wraps with salt and water.
Then I wrapped them and kept them to set but me I ate 3 like that b4 devouring 2 more, remaining 2 for dh.

Hope there's no problem, how is the new development and changes in your body, is there any complain, how are you managing the hormones, are we still taking our prenatals, baby kicks nko? Mama's that are MIA please how are you doing(kareenakapur and Ladymessi) please I'm very worried, even if is cappo I dey oo, I'll manage.
I love y'all and you're my online family when I don't get a mention or few it really hurt. Biko keep the likes, NL won't show me if A or B liked the post.

Hope there's no problem, no complain. Sorry for the body pains, spitting, headache, excess urination, tiredness, BH, insomnia, swings e.t.c, it'll surely end in praise.

Nutigal I saw you peeping, how are you doing dear, you're always in my prayers.

Please let's be open to any birth method, the most important thing is mother and child alive. The both are not easy and you'll still have after birth pains. We only pray for something we can cope with and still be alive.

Go to Google play store, search my calender. When you download it, you'll fill the necessary information i.e luteal phase, cycle length and period length. Since you're preggy now, they'll need your lmp so they can calculate but if you're not, they'll still need it to calculate your next period and ovulation.

Ywc, I use an app. It calculates both your ovulation period, period date and when you're preggy you just click on I'm pregnant icon. It even have preggy forum, ttc forum and odas.
