EpicDude123: I read all comments above me about cannibalism of the Ugep tribe. This stigma is a long dead ancient tradition which was mostly orchestrated by a few ancient brutal warriors who did this only as a tool to scare it's enemies during tribal wars that persisted every now and then 100's of years ago.
I did my IT in General hospital Ugep as a young medical student far back in 2015 and I can say how hospitable the people of Ugep are, infact I get one babe that year wey make me nearly no go back after I finished my IT.
They were lots of strangers in the community especially igbos handling major businesses in the town.
Their culture and tradition was so unique and peaceful, especially the new yam festival called Leboku, which was held every August. It's an intriguing festival to partake as even strangers were giving a freewill to be part it.
People talk out of ignorance. Let the school do a more proper public awareness and it will bloom. You're the ignorant here. Even NYSC do earn coprers not to move around alone. That they should move around in pairs. Wetin this one dey talk. Definitely you no dey on ground . What of the neighboring villages Nko and Idomi However, it's quite unfortunate that the school is just picked as a scape goat go to eh north and see what education looks like and yet such schools also dole out first class. With the exception of q few like ABTU, ABU, KADPOLY, those others are just a sorry case |

Tetrahedron: Islam: As long as their population remains around 1% of any given country they will be regarded as a peace-loving minority and not as a threat to anyone. In fact, they may be featured in articles and films, stereotyped for their colorful uniqueness:
United States 1.0% Australia 1.5% Canada 1.9% China 1%-2% Italy 1.5% Norway 1.8%
At 2% and 3% they begin to proselytize from other ethnic minorities and disaffected groups with major recruiting from the jails and among street gangs:
Denmark 2% Germany 3.7% United Kingdom 2.7% Spain 4% Thailand 4.6%
From 5% on they exercise an inordinate influence in proportion to their percentage of the population. They will push for the introduction of halal food, thereby securing food preparation jobs. They will increase pressure on supermarket chains to feature it on their shelves along with threats for failure to comply. (United States ).
France 8% Philippines 5% Sweden 5% Switzerland 4.3% The Netherlands 5.5% Trinidad &Tobago 5.8%
At this point, they will work to get the ruling government to allow them to rule themselves. The ultimate goal is not to convert the world but to establish their law over the entire world.
When they reach 10% of the population, they will increase lawlessness as a means of complaint about their conditions ( Paris car-burnings) . Any infidel action that offends them will result in uprisings and threats.
Guyana 10% India 13.4% Israel 16% Kenya 10% Russia 10-15%
After reaching 20% expect hair-trigger rioting, militia formations, sporadic killings and church and synagogue burning:
Ethiopia 32.8%
At 40% you will find widespread massacres, chronic terror attacks and ongoing militia warfare:
Bosnia 40% Chad 53.1% Lebanon 59.7% Nigeria 50%
From 60% you may expect unfettered persecution of non-believers and other religions, sporadic ethnic cleansing (genocide), use of their law as a weapon and a tax placed on infidels:
Albania 70% Malaysia 60.4% Qatar 77.5% Sudan 70%
After 80% expect State run ethnic cleansing and genocide:
Bangladesh 83% Egypt 90% Gaza 98.7% Indonesia 86.1% Iran 80% Iraq 97% Jordan 92% Morocco 98.7% Pakistan 97% Palestine 99% Syria 90% Tajikistan 90% Turkey 99.8% United Arab Emirates 96%
100% will usher in peace because everybody is one of them:
Afghanistan 100% Saudi Arabia 100% Somalia 100% Yemen 99.9%
Of course, thats not the case. To satisfy their blood lust, they then start killing each other for a variety reasons. Culled from … Worth every word in this piece. But you didn't include that even at 100% they now have the liberty to behead and execute one of their owns without external influence. They don't accept others and their beliefs but they want others to accept them by all means. |

Dreamland87: 419 men of god, abeg getaaaat Check yourself very well what improvements have you made personally since you started hating on them. Let me tell you something, until you start seeing little good things in and about others , you won't value yourself and your worth. Just imagine people running organizations without power light out for so many years and yet the ones you call your own messiahs keep talking about power stability since early 80s. Do you have light now , you ? Also consider if you won't mind the numbers of employees in those organizations feeding their various families and loved ones from their earnings there. How many people did you employ ? You I don't know anyone of them personally , but the little I see they are doing has taken so much burden off the neck of the government. All we need is an all inclusive Intelligent government. If people can willingly give in churches and other places of worship, do t you think a right minded government can talk to them to help the government more in the cooperate social responsibility CSR axis ? |

Such person airstrip can be used for illegal activities That's bigotry. Do you know the man personally, I doubt if you ever done anything differently and spectacularly before. If he hates other religion, must you have anything to do right him ? Meanwhile that place is not supposed to be an FG airstrips. It's for his organization and nothing more. The corner you belong too are too primitive and barbaric to see the future and advance quickly. They always brainstorm before they contribute #100 . It is the government that you should tell to please engage these men of God to help them with wisdom and expertise with which they have been running their various organizations. |

Botragelad: Full politics in play here. These guys have been having a field day, capturing villages for about two days now, with little to no resistance from Russian, Iranian, and Syrian forces.
The moment these guys (groups in Syria) sense some weakness, they pounce and devour you. Russia showed several sign of weakness, one was importing North Korean soldiers to fight on their behalf. Iran on the other hand has been severely weakened by Israel and has struggled to revive Hezbollah following the recent ceasefire agreement. As a result, these groups in Syria are taking advantage of the situation.
Now, hezbollah used to help the Assad regime, but they are more or less useless now since they made a grave mistake signing a ceasefire that only extend their survival span, they can't carry out any attack because Israel continues to conduct strikes against them despite the cease-fire deal, yes it's part of the deal. The moment Israel notices any activities, the IAF swoops in to repel it, so these guys are stuck, no proper ammo, leaders gone, fighters depleted, out of the litani river area.
These are possibly Turkish backed Syrian opposition group in Syria, and they are currently in full force. They killed some IRGC generals in their attack too. Syria is a mess as we speak, Al Qaeda, ISIS, Kurdish forces, Assad forces, FSA, HTS, Jund Al aqsa, etc. All fighting for control of whatever they could grab their hands on. Russia is currently struggling with Ukraine, so at this point things are a bit hard.
Iran is struggling to get hezbollah on it's feet, but things aren't working out. Israel played a big role depleting Iran's proxy power! Online Shiites and Sunni are currently confused on who to support. Lol Let's see how this pans out. You spoke well.. apt |

mikkyangel3: Is Segalink now a member of Nairaland?
This post was clearly made to be pushed to the frontpage.
That was a segue, now back to the meat of the matter.
Obasa is clearly angling for the post come 2027 as is his right to do so?
Is he qualified?
Its debatable but left to me, I will say No.
He has a spurious educational background.
A Graduate of law (LASU) who has the reading proficiency of a 5 year old.
Its still not confirmed if he even attended law school.
Or should we speak of his thuggish behavior and mien?
His outburst and misbehaviour at the budget presentation came a day after a ragtag group came out to endorse Seyi Tinubu for governor.
So I guess that was his ill-advised way of throwing his hat in the ring.
Like all things politics, it's a family affair and they will settle themselves
