Not sure about the others, but if you are an ACCA affiliate, the credential will be evaluated as a 4 year Bachelor degree.

The best place to have a stroke is when you jump into a cab in Canada and you realize the taxi driver holds a PhD...

Yes, but you will get a Permanent Residence in Canada with the Express Entry from day one while it will take you 4-7 years to get its UK equivalent, Indefinite Leave.

Let me give you examples of earnings between the UK and Canada.

In the UK, qualified teachers earn between £27,000-34, 000. In Ontario, Canada, they earn $CAD 90-110, 000.

Nurses in Canada earn about two-three times more than their UK counterparts.

Doctors in many places in Canada earn over $350,000. In the UK, it’s less than £70,000.

New Lecturers in the UK earn £30-45,000. Starting rank for their counterparts in Canada is Assistant Professor and they start with $95,000-125,000 depending on the field or area of specialism.

Of course, these are median rates and salaries, and the £ is stronger than the CAD$. Both pay different taxes.

The most important thing is that it takes some time to settle into these societies depending on who is mentoring or guiding you.

Some of these jobs may require you to get licensed and will the process will depend on your dedication and how fast you can push.

Accountants who come to Canada from Nigeria can start AML Analyst and Business Analyst roles pending when they are licensed to go for full accounting jobs. These roles pay anywhere between $50-95,000, depending on your experience and who is guiding you.

In my years in the UK, many Naija UK graduates and students were happy working in ASDA, Morrison’s, Sainsbury’s, doing security jobs, carer e.t.c. These include MSC, LLM and PhD holders from great UK universities.

Since, I came to Canada. I have watched tens of Nigerians come from banks and the streets in many local places in Naija to start bank jobs...I am yet to see ANY except those just coming in today and refugee claimants do the jobs that Naija people in the UK do and celebrate.
I think you have to out things into perspective.

First of all Canada GDP per capita is only $300 below Germany's, so it is not poorer than Germany the way you put it.

Secondly Canada Economy like USA's is based on oil & gas, energy, manufacturing and services. I'm not sure if you have seen the US economy decline because of fall in oil prices?? Instead Canada economy is growing... like US's

I understand you really enjoy and love Germany but you shouldn't say other countries are both of or that they will go down. The thing with Canada is expectations... people go there with the mindset that they will bad white collar jobs without adapting to the local market skills, and it is really bitter for them to have to go back and do these kind of jobs they never thought of, just to pay for their bills and rent. In Germany on the other hand people go with either a tourist visa or a study visa and are prepared to hustle... who would you think will enjoy most the first year on arrival? Those who land in Canada as permanent reaidents and skilled or those who land in Germany with a tourist or student visa?

good for you my guy. but you are right depends on the way you see it. not everybody is chasing the money bag in the general scheme of things . life is more than working and saving money for me. dont get me wrong i like money , i made a few too considering i came to germany with almost no money (100-300 euros).i only say this because you made it sound like making money and getting citizenship is eveything there is to it.
to make things clear, first you cant really make as much money as you want to unless the money that i think you making makes you happy(key point) as a student since we are students for now. even after graduating germany have among the lowest salary range even for tech jobs. that socialist argument is crap , i can explain on other post. this is just for arguments sake ,i dont really hate this fact of germany.
second , language thing might actually depend on people , some people are good at learning languages some are not. accepting that should come naturally for a happier life.but from my observation most students and seniors or graduates dont really speak german ,most gave up or are just at the intermidiate basic level. that means thats enough to get by,work and stuff.
one thing you mentioned here is the possibility of getting a job without german, again i think you missed the idea of the post. i know you can get a job from my own observation in tech, but again if thats okay for you , thats not a problem.i read on reddit that this working folks who dont speak much of german feel like they dont fit in outside work.
personally i think the language is representative of everything the germans are , difficult. lol
unless you become german yourself, meaning speaking in par as the natives and understanging the culture ,wit and everything else that makes germans germans , it could be difficult.
here is the thing i just dont see myself being a robot , just working and lacking sense of belongingness if that makes sense for you . in germany no matter your status , money or skill you have you are still an aüslander . thats not the case in usa, uk, canada in my opionion and research(which i do very well, i was just being modest to get poeples opionion here, lol) , i can not see myself settling in a country where seeing black dude/girl is not common for the locals that they turn and look at you ,lol
where my kids be "odd" ones in the flock , no thank you.
here is my ideal place to settle...common language, friendlier people, you are not seen as an outsider.
interms of job , i am mature enough to accept finding job is difficult everywhere. canada is no different.
and since you ended with a quote for you . ignorance is a bliss ,lol . no offense

Well, applying as a couple is definitely going to have an effect on your total points, either as an increase or decrease. In my case when I applied alone I had more points than when I applied as a couple, but when added my wife Masters and IELTS then points where higher - still lower than if I applied alone.

quote author=Michelle001 post=98809282]Hi everyone, I'm new here. Please I would like to ask a question on behalf of a friend. When applying for FSW, does a spouse IELTS & Masters results increase the total CRS score I tried checking this out on the CRS tool and noticed that there was no increase in score, in fact it reduced the couple's total CRS score when compared to applying as an individual.

She was informed that if both couple write IELTS and have masters that the CRS score will increase.
Hello Guys

I submitted my EE profile some time ago and I lately received an email saying my application status has changes and that to view the changes I have to log into my account, which I did, but there's nothing new in my status.

Has anyone experienced this please? Thanks.
