Hmm. I think a copy of your rental agreement for the stated period would solve this. I think it depends on the visa officer, some would ask for UK PCC and others won't. What's your AOR?

temibanks:

Trust me! I did. It was the very obvious thing to do.
However, WES report shows otherwise - UK

When filling out your application, didn't you mention in front of your certificate 'distance learning' and country of study Nigeria?

temibanks:
Gurus in the House;

Please what evidence can I send to IRCC to show that my ACCA Diploma certification was done here in Nigeria not UK.

I got an ADR for a UK PCC or provide evidence that I didn't travel to the UK to study for my ACCA course.

That's why Africa will never move forward. I once asked someone how she managed to immigrate to Toronto, and guess what she told me? 'Go to IRCC website, download the form and apply'.

Hello
I think you just have to be honest with yourself and identify the ties; it can be family, school network, Naija community in Ontario.... I explained my ties in 5 bullet points or so and got approved, yet I didn't have any family member in Canada.
Good luck.

I am also in another group and some people who had received PPR request in Feb 2020 recently ordered their notes and saw they were issued COPR in March 2020 which they have never received... as a result they have engaged a lawyer as a group to sue the Canadian embassy/ immigration as they claim it is so unfair to hold people's passport for more than a year while the notes read visa had been issued.

Divaville:
Hello All,

Need some advice.
I’ve just received my GCMS notes this morning. AOR September 2020 and Accra VO. From what I’ve read in it, I passed all the criteria and final status is approved. I can also under document issuance that COPR counterfoil/vignette was issued since 2020/Dec and even queued for print. However I didn’t receive any request for passport. The last email I received from IRCC was in November 2020 for biometric submission which I did and they updated my profile with it.

From what I can see, it was issued at the Accra VO and expires in September 2021 but no passport request was done since December. Who can advise what steps I should take in this situation? Or should I just continue waiting…

Its not the first time here we see an offer from this same ompany, the last time it was a scam

HOMA777:
Good morning, please I need your polite and sincere advise?
I got a job offer from a company in Canada, hopefully to resume by mid September. They have designated an immigration attaché whom have reached out to me for submission of my credentials and international passport for visa processing. Please be informed the said company have paid 850 dollars in my name for the visa processing and also rep as my guarantor.

Here his my challenge, my passport expires in Dec 2021 I need a renewal link fast track precisely 7-10days Max. It's been over a week since the immigration attaché reached out to me for submission, right now I feel like every day count. My other challenge is that I just resume a new job in July 2021 I need time to visit immigration office for renewal but my current job is so stressful that even when you step out of the company every other staff will be questioning how did it happen?

I hold a high priority position. I reside in Lagos. I am feeling like running away to have the time to do what I need to do. Please advise me? I resigned from my former job and it took me 7month to get this new one.

Kindly view the attached letter of appointment if it's scam or otherwise. Thank you everyone a

Someone here posted his PPR testimony and I remember he mentioned that when he googled his name, he found out businesses/ associations he didn't share when submitting his application; on each occasion he raised a webform to explain and he finally got his PPR.
In your case you have to find out why your eligibility failed... what did your notes say? Because if it us because of the online searches the VO will clearly state it.

Easykay2020:
Hi guys, please I need your opinions on this.... i submitted my EE application in November 2020 and been waiting patiently on updates since then, gcms notes indicate my file is in Accra and eligibility hasn’t been passed.... I recently saw this post attached flying about in different groups and I thought to do a quick google search of my name and results came up with two businesses which I registered with cac few years ago. Issue is I never mentioned those businesses in my application as they were just side hustles and I didn’t claim points for them and also one was inactive while the other was just off and on for a while. In my case, My LinkedIn doesn’t show any of the businesses it’s just what’s in my personal history in the application that’s on my LinkedIn but a google search of my name pops up both businesses as a co-director for one and a sole proprietor for the other , do I raise a webform to inform them or do I just leave it ??

Nice one! This Canada thing shouldn't be taken for granted. I know someone who sold put all her properties as soon as she got ITA, but since then she hasn't gotten PPR... yet; it's been 3 years or so. Let's live our lives, no one should wait for Canada.

Palmstore:
@tannystacey. Your advice really touched me,
My immigration journey is still far from where I am going. I am not in the PNP neither am I in any pool.
I am just writing my IELTS this Aug and I wouldn't want anything that will cause a delay for me in terms of funds during the journey.
God is my fortress and my refuge, I want to start putting what I can sell on sale on time and save before the issue of Proof of Funds comes up.
I have some valuables to replace with cash if they are sold or bought. A gift deed is not forthcoming around me. That is why I have come to meet you my E-family here to help me out.

Thank you. I appreciate

I’ll try the IeLTs route or I’ll remove my hubby’s masters and English test results from the application to see if it will get me with Range. Thank you for the suggestion

Why don't you guys apply directly for PNPs? A friend of mine with CRS 537 got Manitoba advice to apply, that was in June or so. There is no guarantee FSW will resume anytime soon, plus even if it does you will still get ITA. Plus Expression of interest in PNPs is absolutely free.

GraciousWords:

503 is almost sure when FSW draws resume..... but in the spirit of having a plan B, what is your CRS with French as your first language?

If you have IELTS money to spare and $1,500 for OINP, then consider retaking IELTS to get a lower CLB in order to be between 458 and 467 (go to the CRS grid on page 1 to reconfirm and work out the maths), if putting French as your first language doesn't get you within the range. They are likely to have a French Speakers draw in September, they had in Jan, Mar, May & July.

Also have you checked if your NOCs are in demand in Sasks, PEI and NB also seem to give extra points for French.

Not to offend not to be rude, people have to take ownership of their things. The answers to these questions are all over IRCC website. It simply means you have not even read though the information and don't want to make any effort.
People here have not been thought, they sacrifed their time and made extra effort in order to know what they know.
The principle here is that you get helped so that at some point you help someone else. If you rely 100% on what's being said here, what would be your value added?
Please take the time to go through IRCC website and be comfortable with the process... only after that your questions will be relevant.

Hello
A tie is not necessarily family related. It can be anything, family, classmates, friends, professional network.... only mentioning that there is a strong Nigerian community in Toronto working in the accounting field is a tie.

Abiodunnn:
Hello my people,
Please my friend just discovered that she got an EOI from Ontario since 23rd of June. Is it compulsory for her to have a tie in Ontario or can she just say she doesn't know anyone there? She's an Accountant

The best way to find out what's going on with your application is to order your notes.

DFreeze:
Hello, anyone here who received AOR on 31/12/2020 or similar timeframes, any update on your application yet? have not still heard a word from IRCC other than that my medical test was positive. Folks, any suggestions or advise will be highly appreciated. God bless.

Hello,
It is impossible to have to amounts. Check the CAD/USD rate in IRCC website as you did for CAD/Naira and you'll find the same amount in Naira. Also it is better to use your USD account as POF due to Naira volatility.

MNTS0:
Hi guys!

Regarding POF, which option do you think is better?

Saving in NGN or USD (dom account)?

I'm asking because I'm currently saving in USD and this is what I noticed when I checked the exchange rate on IRCC website;

POF for a single person = CAD13,213 and following the exchange rate on their website (#329/CAD), its roughly #4,320,000.

But if you're saving in USD, then you'll need to have USD 10,545. If you convert that to NGN, it's a little over #5,000,000.

Maybe actually converting the naira to CAD at that 329 rate when you arrive Canada won't be possible?

Please advise, which one is better?

Thanks!

Hello
I don't know about lawyers, but I know doctors do immigrate to Canada.
With a bit of luck you can get a notification of interest from a province with that score, but that would depend on whether your NOC is in demand; personally I wouldn't advise you to bet on that.
Finally, if you want to increase you score you'd have no other options than to max out on IELTS and learn French.
Good luck

When you are filling your application post ITA, your POF section will again come up and you'll be able to change the amount you stated when you created you EE profile.
Hope this helps.

Queenmaker:
Hello, everyone.
I received ITA and intend to update my pof on my EE profile but can't seem to do so as there is no way to edit anything. Hope this would not be an issue?
Secondly, for my reference letters. My last 3 former employers issued me letters last year which I used for PNP (addressed to whom it may concern). I wish to use same for federal because getting new letters would be difficult.
Advice needed.
Cc GraciousWords, ednut1..... others please.

Hello
I guess you are the PA? If so the answer is no, you can't sumit with his bank account. It jas to be either a joint account or he can transfer the money into your account and when submitting your application you submit along a LOE telling them the money has been transferred by your husband.
Hope this helps?

Hello
WES evaluates as a Bachelor (4 years). Whether you owe ACCA is irrelevant, just email them and ask then to send your transcripts to WES. You'd also need a letter from ACCA confirming you are an Affiliate, as you'd upload this in your WES account along with your ACCA certificates leading to affiliation.
Good luck!

quote author=Superfavoured1 post=103465594]I believe WES does not give a favourable evaluation for ICAN in most cases. Your best option is renewing your ACCA membership and evaluating the certificate for the additional points.

Hello
Which PNP is this? If you are convinced that his international passport won't be available by then, I think you have to send a copy of his birth certificate and proof that you've applied for his international passport and you then write a letter of explanation pleading your cause? Remwmver those officers are human being too!

Hi,

I'd advice you apply to other provinces for their PNP. A friend of mine with 537 points CRS got Saskatchewan Letter of Advice to Apply in their last draw.

tannystacey:
Hi everyone, my current CRS score is 493.
I av msc, had Ielts (L-8.5, R-8.5, S-8.5,W-7), and etc.

After waiting all these months, I'm considering applying for pnp, (oinp). But pple are saying my score is too high for pnp. Is it true? Has anyone applied for Ontario pnp recently? What is the CRS score that can apply or is there a range? Thanks.
