In a civilized environment a president whom such happened under his government would have humbly resigned not to mention re-contesting. Its a shame many Nigerians can't even define peace, progress or development correctly, sense of whom has been hugely hampered by severe poverty or religious believes. who would have thought an upright man would stand and chant sai buhari with the minimum of what is happening in Nigeria today? wake up Nigerians

Faceless, excuses there you go. faceless in sambisa right? faceless but less versatile unlike terrorists in the east being crushed right in front of their door-mouth. you need watch the boko haram video of how they invaded the military base in motele, you will agree with me that Nigerian soldiers are helpless and the government is just feeding the masses lies upon lies for political reasons. sad enough people like you believe them. well, even with obvious fact one still has the right to choose what he wants to believe, you have the right to believe Nigerian army can confront and crush the Israeli and the U.S army put together in Tel aviv brother grin grin grin

PoliticsRe: Zungeru Power Plant Nearing Completion (in photos) by lakeside23: 1:20pm On Dec 13, 2018
As intelligent they say Nigerians are, as stupid as they are. For the Buhari supporters, seeing a picture on the social medial is enough to organize a thanks giving service for what their lord is doing, not minding the source and how genuine. well I don't expect more from those who believe work is done only on paper,in NTA documentaries but not by what a common man feels on the street. Before you realize yourself Nigeria would have been turned to fulani caliphate. we actually don't deserve more than we get anyway, clueless people clueless president.

PoliticsRe: Jubril In Aso Rock: Does Kanu Know What He Is Saying Or Is He A Mad Man? by lakeside23: 6:50am On Nov 04, 2018
Awol1:
If all you do is dismiss any conflicting information against what you know as truth, then you might never get to learn something new.

Buhari's handlers have all to gain from swapping him. Except your head is so paining you that you can't see it.

If they announced that Buhari had died, automatically Osibanjo would inherit the presidency and that would amount to change of power formula and equation.

How you are not seeing this baffles me.

I'm not saying there's a Jubrin in Aso Rock, just like I'm not saying there's no Jubrin in Aso Rock.

I'm just gonna be in my cubicle being open minded to see how this thing turns out.
u are very correct. thats the mentality difference between a white and a black man. kanu's talk is worth considering for once
PoliticsRe: Stupid Citizens. Whats Stopping Us Given Someone Outside APC/PDP Support by lakeside23: 12:54pm On Nov 03, 2018
VaselineCrew:
So if APC presents Buhari and PDP presents Abacha, who will you pickhuh

That is the Ops point, it's not about whether they can win or not, at some point you have to just cast your vote for the right person and hope for the best, knowing you did what was right.

All this lesser of two evils, when the gap between the evils is not even wide enough is not cool bro!
if APC presents Buhari and PDP Abacha then its a no go area. And for me the gap between the two evils is much.with the way its going under the Buhari the right person would never come because Mr right won't come by change, thats evident in the recent governorship election in Osun, believe me we won't even have free and fare elections as desperate as Buhari and those behind him are.Laws are been trampled upon, nepotism plus undemocratic attitudes.Bro we need someone who can define democracy correctly, someone who respect are laws, who understands one thing leads to another in human behavior, and not all issues needs military cramp-down
I do completely agree we need vote the right person but 'HOPING' will never solve it here. i am talking base on practical terms.we need acts and reason and weigh the options.
PoliticsRe: Stupid Citizens. Whats Stopping Us Given Someone Outside APC/PDP Support by lakeside23: 12:15pm On Nov 03, 2018
hey Guy, you need mind your language in public places.you are asking a question and should not insult others.

to your question; for me, you may be right both buhari and atiku might not be the best candidates, but in reality terms A VOTE FOR DUKE and the likes is a vote for Buhari, its NOT a wasted vote, there are millions of almanjeris in the north who can't define good governance nor development and would lay there lives for buhari come 2019 just because his name is buhari. I will be voting against such minds,i won't be strengthening Buhari's chance through a vote for Duke. I really don't want to be a part in returning Buhari so I will vote Mr Atiku. I other words i will vote Atiku because I want Buhari OUT.

PoliticsIf You Want To Test A Man's Character Give Him Power:oshiomole A Case Study by lakeside23(op): 1:22am On Oct 25, 2018
Abraham Lincoln's popular quote that says: Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character give him power. Having a deep thought on this and also looking at the current situation of the APC national chairman, from the time he was a comrade, one can easily grab in ones imagination the practical assertion of Abraham Lincoln.
As we all know Oshiomole's story, from when he was just a textile man to how he became a comrade, leading protests for common men, speaking for the voiceless and fighting for the weak. he was real,a humble and a honorable man. and been a comrade he had his comrade reputation go ahead of him during his first aspiration to become the governor of Edo state. and we all knew how it payed off for him, been a labour president he has been on the people's side so there he should understand the plight of masses as a governor, many people's thought. And there he became the governor.
Now endowed with power and authority, a real test for the Comrade's character and integrity was kick-started. And shortly afterwards the 'GO AND DIE' video surfaced(we all saw it).Mr Comrade did well to amend his wrong by paying the woman involved with good money, but in deed that was not a mis-act by Oshiomole, His real self had started showing up.
More authority came as the national leader of the ruling parting APC. And we began to see the real Comrade, messing up here and there, using words that can't be credited to intelligence in public places, exercising authority and power and a times makes someone believes there can't be some other authority above his, forgetting rule of law, he was also alleged to have played a role in the DSS invation of the NASS. hmmmmmmm Comrade. Power. only power can reveal the real element of a man. Abraham Lincoln, you were not just a man, not just a lawyer and not just a president. you were a thought, you were a belief, i mean you ARE for your thoughts live on.

PoliticsRe: Proof That Nigerian Government Was Holding Nnamdi Kanu And Released Him Overseas by lakeside23: 7:21am On Oct 20, 2018
Funny how guys are trying to ascertain there believe by force even without any obvious proof, kicking every guy with a different opinion.
my questions are ;
1.is this video really genuine and when was it recorded?
2. how many countries acknowledge the FG terrorist pronouncement knowing well enough its a political thing? If Israel does I don't suppose Kanu will be walking freely on her street.
3.If in deed he was apprehended when his house was raided and has been in FG custody since why claiming he was not since its an open truth they went on the operation?
4. was Kanu that daft to have remained in his house waiting for the military attack? because i don't expect for someone as smart as him would not have heard a tipoff before the attack.
many unclear issues that makes the op's claim not reasonable for me

Belluchii:
President Buhari has always moved for fairness;coming from Mr President he has made a promise to continue to be fair and equitable and so he will.....he is a man of integrity and would not fail to be fair in all his appointments...I believe PMB has nothing to hide, it is only does that think negative of him that go around shading the President on all negative speeches, but he always puts them in check, PMB is one who has worked hard for a better Nigeria.
PoliticsRe: I Have Finally Decided To Support Buhari's Bid For A Second Term And Here's Why by lakeside23: 7:17pm On Sep 12, 2018
just like i said, depends on how u define forward. if u define an 85 naira to 145 naira a litter of fuel as moving forward or 9k bag of rice thats now 17k plus as moving forward. broz i suggest u need review your definition of the word forward. grin grin grin grin grin
Buterflyle0:
Lmao I suggest you go and look at the service chiefs during GEJ tenure and the zone they all came from then you will see who the nepotic one truly is.

Nigeria is indeed moving forward and if you choose to deny it to yourself, that is your cup of tea
PoliticsRe: I Have Finally Decided To Support Buhari's Bid For A Second Term And Here's Why by lakeside23: 11:41am On Sep 12, 2018
zero in deep.all service chiefs been from same zone for the first time not nepotic to you. for a Nigerian who thinks Nigeria is moving forward under buhari is actually insanity or not been able to correctly define the word "development"
Buterflyle0:
There is zero nepotism under PMB but there was massive nepotism under GEJ and PDP.

Look it up.

Also those who you mentioned saying they understand bla bla bla lack any understanding of anything except how to further take from the nations treasury.

Argue with your keypad
PoliticsRe: I Have Finally Decided To Support Buhari's Bid For A Second Term And Here's Why by lakeside23: 8:55pm On Sep 11, 2018
everyone in the opposition is a better alternative to Buhari. at least they understand democracy, rule of law, economy and would in no doubt keep the country together putting aside nepotic government kind of buhari gov
PoliticsRe: Read Ihrc's Submission To The ICC On Buhari Slaughter Of 1000 Shiites by lakeside23: 1:26pm On Sep 08, 2018
lol,but its right for the gov of the day to shoot her cetizen and put a ban on a religious group right. very funny u
orisa37:
IHRC's submis sion to the ICC is a Lie and a Misrepresentation.
A Religious group cannot baricade itself and attack the movement of The Chief of Army Staff and his Entourage and prevent their passage on official duties and expect no Reaction.
The F.G should expartriate El-SarSacky and his family from Nigeria and ban Shiite movement forever from Nigeria.
I suspect that The Government has some skeletons in her Cupboard, that is the reason why she is treating El-SacSacky, the Shiites and their groups, with kids gloves.
ICC should throw out the Pettition and advise our F.G to do the needful.

PoliticsRe: Three Good Reasons Why Saraki Wil Fail by lakeside23: 12:47pm On Aug 31, 2018
i think u are not one of those that thought back then that no way he would become the senate president at that time because he is from NC/not a core APC member and bla bla bla, or u are not one of those that thought by now he would have been impeach.may be u should asked them how their efforts has been fruitless and he is still standing tall amiss of all tribulations and against all odds.

FairCritic:
That Senator Bukola Saraki, the Senate President has Presidential ambition is not in doubt. It is also glarring that he is behind the emergence of rAPC. Despite all his manoevrings, Saraki would probably have to wait for another 13 yerars (2031) before he could achieve his dream, if he will ever achieve it. Right now, the following factors are working against him:

1. He is from Kwara state, not from a core Northern state.
2. Despite his pretences, he is a Yoruba man from Ilorin, not a core Northerner.
3. Majority of the people are not fooled by his antics.

Mark my word, Saraki is not going to smell the position of President of Nigeria.
PoliticsRe: So The Mass Defection, Is Just 15 Senators? Laughable by lakeside23: 4:45pm On Jul 24, 2018
just a worthless 15 but Bubu did all he could to hinder Saraki from overseeing the defection.
PoliticsRe: Can PMB Still Win 2019 Election by lakeside23: 4:18pm On Jul 24, 2018
APC wishes its as simple as you have stated here
seunmsg:
Today's defection changes absolutely nothing in the race to 2019. Most lawmakers are light weight politicians who got elected either through the magnanimity of their governor or through a sweeping wave of support for their party. Even Saraki, the grand puppeteer of the puppet lawmakers that decamped refused to follow them. We all know that the governors hold all the aces when it comes to mobilizing for the general election.

Saraki played all his cards today and it will come to haunt him. Senators that are still in APC can no longer openly support him with what happened today. All pretenses to negotiations and discussions is now over. Henceforth, it's a battle to finish. APC has enough time to assess the situation and deal with him appropriately. With the defection also comes serious internal problem for PDP. Many disgruntled PDP members who would be disatisfied with the preference given to the defectors may move to APC. APC can even lobby some PDP lawmakers to their camp before senate resumes plenary in September. If well managed, i see APC having the last laugh over today's defection.
