Okija_juju: Heheheheee..

So a driver speeding through a crowded area in a police chase is a threat to what?!

Again sir.. A 911 call, Robbery in progress.. Hostages taken.. Why should the police respond or take shots at perps who dont pose any threat to the officers. Remember you said the guns the officers have are to protect themselves only. Your words, not mine. And that they can only shoot at a perp who poses a threat to others with a court order. This law you quoted, you have again failed to provide proof of. Yet na you insult people pass. You say 'Police rules of engagement', yet you will not provide proof.. Arguing with points drawn from your asshole and shoving it down peoples throats like your word translates into Law... Funny kid you are..

A person with a hostage is a threat to an Officer, yet a speeding driver who is desparate to avoid arrest at all cost poses no threat to an officer or to the public.. WOW!! So, you are saying that the officer shooting out the tyres was a threat to public safety, yet the driver who was speeding through a densely populated area isnt... huh So basically, except a gun or knife is involed, it cant be considered a threat to life abi?!

Threat to life.. Any practice that can potentially cause grievious bodily harm or lead to death. Now can a fast moving car in a crowded environment be considered as a 'threat to life'?! Especially that of pedestrians?! ... You answer!

Now you also read slowly;

A vehicle speeding through a densely populated area like a University environment is not only reckless but also a 'Threat to life'.. And if a carefully placed bullet incapacitates the vehicle, it can be also said that a potential accident situation has been averted, hence life has been protected. A vehicle can also be consider to be a weapon as it has the potential to take life. (Refer to Picture 3 below)

Erm... Read it, still says the same thing. If a speeding vehicle is stopped by the police, he has just protected the society from a potentially dangerous situation. #FACT!

Evading arrest by speeding off did not pose a threat to the lives of the students abi?!

Questions;

1. Was it possible that in the process of the chase, the suspect could have run down a bystander, a student crossing the road or even a group of students?!

If yes, Can we then say that the speeding driver posed a threat to life or not?!
To buttress ur point, a drunk though nt mad,bt has d influence n pose similar threat as to a serial killer.On my way to watchin 9ja versus spain match, a drunk roll over 3 bystanders,killin dem instantly.a father,his son n brother.d picture was gory n pathetic,while d drunk driver ws hale n with no scratch watsoeva. D truth is,dere is more to d story of d guy n d policeman,n we cnt judge frm dis half baked information,like d curiousity behind d hot chase n d shootin,only d guy n d policeman clear as to Y!

SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Uruguay - Player Rating by Lampsy(m): 1:32pm On Jun 21, 2013
DailyNews: Yeah, but then, we need to get rid off Musa and Ideye plus one other guy at the right back...if possible. If we can get rid of those three players and have good replacements for them- Musa, Ideye, and the other guy that allowed Forlan to be free and couldn't follow him up...then SE would go far.

I see SE performing better during our next match with Spain, but if and only if Musa, Akpala and Babatunde are stopped from entering the pitch. That Musa of a guy pisses me off....took him 90something minutes to find the net during our duel with Tahiti...imagine the number of chances Musa missed on that match? He should go and join athletics as a marathon runner, maybe he would do better there, but as a football strikerhuh Nope!
Firstly,Musa hasn't scored in dis tournament,it was echiejile dat scored dat goal after a rebound frm musa's shot.personally,I dnt expect too much frm musa n nt disappointed wit his performance,jst dat we play a modern game wher our full backs attack well,bt wen we lose d ball,we r flat footed.dis happened in AFCON against burkina faso in d group stage as well as uruguay's second goal.he gets d blame cause he alwz strives to mak somfin happen,I'll rather he wrks on losin ball n nt expose us to counter,else,his pace is terrifyin n only opponents cud testify to dis fact.

Scun: The guys you mentioned couldn't do anything for us when they were at their peak, what will they do now?
Besides,Keshi wasn't blind at all.He saw clearly hw chances wer wasted.am sure knws we need a cuttin edge in attack.I wudnt subscribe to Osaze even though he ws my best player back then.A winnin team needs togetherness n less ego,hunger n fightin spirit player.

All said n done,it shows hw passionate n soccer lovin we r as a nation.IMHO,let jst hop for d best n expect d worse.bt d future is bright for dis team,for wats worth it,dey representd n competed against a world class n establishd team,remember som high profile players r even missin for us n our young team is under construction,so it is no time to castigate or call for overhaulin,rather luk at d positives of team spirit n strong character dey showed...

Afam4eva: Normally i would support the underdog which is Borrusia Dortmund but i feel for bayern considering the fact that they lost last year's final to another underdog and a tactical beried team who have brought shame to world football. I will be happy with whoever wins since it's going to stay in the Bundesliga. At least the German Bundesliga has taken the second place after the La Liga and following them is the Serie A, French league, Portugese league and the Turkish league.

PoliticsLautech Student Arraigned By EFCC On His Way To Cash $6.9M [n1.03billion Naira] by Lampsy(op): 10:41am On Mar 19, 2013
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Wednesday, 13 March, 2013 arraigned Akinluyi Akintunde (a.k.a Akin Cindy) before Justice Bolaji Yusuf of the Oyo State High Court, sitting in Ibadan on a two count charge bordering on obtaining money by false pretence and possession of documents containing false pretence contrary to Sections 6, 8(b) and 1 (3) of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Fraud Related
Offences Act No. 14 0f 2006.

Akintunde allegedly obtained the sum of $450.00(Four Hundred and Fifty USD) from one Robert Jackson via Western Union Money Transfer and another $6,450,000.00 (Six million, Four Hundred and Forty UDS) through false documents.

He pleaded not guilty to the charge. Prosecution counsel, Gbolahan K. Latona asked the court for a trial date and to remand the suspect in prison custody. However, defense counsel, Olusegun Jaiyeola, prayed the court to grant his client bail, stressing that his offences are bailable.
.
Justice Yusuf however remanded the accused person in prison and adjourned the matter till March 20, 2013 for hearing of bail applications.
