drnairalov: They won the game with only 3
shots on Target .. Very annoying
defeat ..
Every shot on target against Nigeria is now a goal, the last time we kept a clean sheet was against Kenya and there was no shot on target at all, against Namibia one shot on target for them, one goal. Enyeam should be dropped, let the rebuilding be complete! Drop Enyeama!!!

I'm honestly not angry with the loss. Safe for our strikers - Ideye, Akpala, Babatunde, other players came to the party. They played well but just lacked bites.

Keshi should roll up his sleeves! There is much work to be done before the world cup and luckily its a year away. The strength of any team is the depth of its bench. Today we didn't have Moses, Emenike and Onasi and it showed clearly. Ideye, Ujah, Akpala and Babatunde are not even bench materials and should never wear our green white jersey again!

We can win the nations cup again if we can sort out the striking position.

Just today on FIFA.com he was complaining about frequent injuries hampering his career.

WHO IS BABATUNDE and AKPALA Against players like REMIRES and FORLAN? angry

WHY ARE THEY PLAYING FOOTBALL LIKE CHESS? angry

WHERE IS LEFT WING PLAYER AND RIGHT WING PLAYER angry

KECHI SHOULD BRING OSAZE BACK and KEEP BUILDING IDEYE- Ideye is intelligent but not marture for this angry
kind of football.

TO WIN SPAIN THEY MUST TAKE IT AS WAR AND NOT SPORT sad

Good lesson for Kechi and ideye ...sorry ooo baby boy

Joel Obi is far better than Ahmed Musa. I really miss that guy. If only Victor Moses and Emenike were in this team, I'm sure Uruguay wouldn't go with a win.

Afam4eva:
That has always been my opinion about Ideye. he shouldn't be the last man at the front. He's just too slow and not flexible. Good strikers take their chances before the defense realizes it. Our major problem has been at the front and the overall psychology of the team. We need to shop for more strikers to join Emenike and Oduamadi. Martins won't be a bad option. The problem we had in the past when the likes of Martins were playing was that the midfielders were not feeding the strikers enough. But now, i think we have an OK midfield, so we need strikers that can convert and not miss glaring chances like Ideye and Musa have done.

I think Anichebe would be a better option. I haven't seen Martins play for time, so I can't really say much about his current form.

Also, if we can scheme through all the football leagues in Europe, we should be able to find two or three young Nigerian players that can compliment what we've got right now.

Lordave: Mba made not much impact. Ideye should go and see a fetish doctor, possibly he should go see Babatunde's father. I can't believe that a player as Babatunde could be playing for Nigeria.
That Babatunde guy no be am.Ideye na minus 1.Musa game today was ok he is gaining himself. He made Ia mistake dat cause d second goal, but that could happen to any person. Omeruo,Mikel,Echiejile, were outstanding.Although dey tryed.

We can recall Osaze and the likes, but if we still have the same attitude towards football game, we will not win!

We have been lacking in football ever since Atlanta 2006 and world cup in 2004. The area we need help is in the technical area. If you can recall, the only time we did well was under some self acclaimed technically sound foreign coaches.

In as much as I am not advocating for a foreign coach………Keshi can still do the same job of winning, all he needs to do is shun all NFA bureaucracy and work like somebody that is hungry for a win all the time. Yeah, NFA decides the funds for football development………and it is a sad situation.

Don't hate him hate Amokachi if KESHI is dum AMOKACH knows what it takes to strike in such a match

Where the hell is osaze?
go and watch Osaze against Guinea or Rwanda and ask that question again. Would he have scored a hattrick in this match? Nonsense.

Let's just hope that Spain would help Nigeria win/draw this match since they don't need this victory. . .

But I doubt it, Spain is a wicked country when it comes to football
Re: Nigeria Vs Uruguay - Confederations Cup: (1 - 2) On 20th June 2013 by achovirux(m): 1:35am On Jun 21, 2013
Kechi lacks technical sense a professional football coach,he could not read the game eailer and see that is only Oduamadi is covering Ideye's Rubbish,he would have changed the 4-3-3 formation when he saw how weak Ideye, musa and babatunde is up front..NO COACH NO STRIkE FORCE
