Details are pouring in that the terrorist organization Islamic State, or ISIS, has unleashed a missile attack on an Egyptian Navy ship off the coast of Rafah in Egypt on Thursday. Not much information has been published about the attack, but there has been a rash of skirmishes in the Sinai Peninsula region which might explain today’s incident.

As reported by The Jerusalem Post, Islamic State’s Egypt-based operation, Sinai Province, said it launched the attack on the naval ship that was resting in the Mediterranean Sea.

The Egyptian military said earlier a coastguard vessel had exchanged shots with militants off the coast of northern Sinai, an area bordering Israel and the Gaza Strip. The boat caught fire but the incident resulted in no casualties, the military said.

The International Business Times published a tweet that showed the demolished naval ship and the official statement from Islamic State stating more attacks are to come.

An official IS statement boasted online that the naval attack was the first of its kind and the start of maritme operations in the Mediterranean. A witness, fisherman Abu Ibrahim Mohammed from Gaza, said the vessel was a gunboat that was sailing at a nautical mile off the coast when it caught fire – but the man did not hear the explosion. Later, he saw two smaller boats trying to extinguish the fire. A third boat came and towed the vessel away. He also heard gunshots.

The vessel was tasked with patrolling Egyptian territorial waters and has been used to move army and police personnel to Egypt. According to terror expert Charles Lister, IS probably used an anti-tank guided missile for the attack similar to the ones used in the Sinai.

Today April 22, 2015, marks 5 years since the late rapper Oladapo Olaitan Olaonipekun, popularly known as Dagrin, passed on after he was involved in a ghastly motor accident.
The tragic accident which claimed his life happened in the early hours on April 14, 2010 after his car collided with a stationary trailer (heavy duty vehicle) in front of Alakara Police Station, off Agege Motor Road, Mushin, Lagos.

He was initially admitted at Tai Solarin Hospital, Mushin before he was transferred to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, (LUTH) Idi Araba, where doctors declared him dead after serious efforts were made to save his life.

The late rapper was admitted at the Intensive Care Unit and operated upon, and later moved to the private wing of the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

1) The Rapper attended Meiran community primary school, Roseille Nursery and Primary School, Meiran Community high school and Egbado College.

2) Dagrin’s mother, Mrs. Olaonipekun, was the second of his father’s three wives.

3) He was 22 years old when he died in a car accident.

4) His father’s speech at the candle light ceremony was the rap he did to the song he was featured in by YQ, titled: ‘Efimile’

5) His car, Nissan Maxima, was a 2008 model and carried the number plate, DAGRIN 03

6) His father’s nickname is Nelly. He has a music store located at Meiran bus stop, ‘House of Nelly sounds’ store where he used to stay before moving to Surulere.

7) The late rapper’s body was brought into the cemetery for burial in a black Ebony Escalade Cadillac ESV 2007 model.

In Lawrenceville Georgia a mother brought her 15-year-old daughter into Children’s Healthcare Of Atlanta and she is now being charged with child cruelty. Her autistic daughter who only weighed 60 pounds revealed that her mother Jade Jacobs kept her locked in a closet for long time periods. A nurse ended up calling the police.

According to CBS:
The nurse told police the girl weighed 60 pounds and had bruising on her.
According to the police report, Jacobs told the hospital staff there was an altercation between the girl and her sister.

Jacobs told police the girl had begun to eat her own feces. The nurse said Jacobs brought in an eating plan but it did not appear they were following it.
Police told CBS46 News the teen was kept in a closet for long periods of time.

“It was discovered that the victim would be locked in that room with the use of a dumbbell, so she could not get out,” said Corporal Ed Ritter. “It was a 50-pound dumbbell that would block the doorway. The room that she was staying in smelled and reeked of feces and urine. The floor was sticky from the urine.” The nurse told police the girl was eating all she could get her hands on while she was at the hospital.

The girl had bruising on her right eye and around her left ear, lacerations on her lip and several pressure sores on her knees and buttocks. A next door neighbor told CBS46 News the family moved in a few weeks ago and kept to themselves. He was surprised to learn of the charges Jacobs faces.

liverpool forward Raheem Sterling will not be leaving the club in the summer despite a breakdown in talks over a new deal, says manager Brendan Rodgers. The 20-year-old told BBC Sport he is motivated by trophies not money after rejecting a £100,000-a-week contract.
"Liverpool are one of the superpowers of football and if the owners don't want to sell, they don't have to," said Rodgers.
Sterling has two years left on a contract worth £35,000 a week.
Rodgers added: "Concentration should be on his football. If his ambition is to win trophies that's aligned with what we do here."
The Liverpool boss added that the club had not given him permission to speak to BBC Sport and that he thought it was a "mistake" to carry out the interview.
"There was no permission from us," he said. "He will learn. We all make mistakes in life, especially when we are young.
"I think the kid has tried to put off all talk about contract and money. For now hopefully the focus will be on football."
Sterling, who joined the Reds from QPR in 2010, says he will not discuss a new contract with the Reds until the summer.
"I just want to take the time to think about what I've achieved in my career so far, where I need to go and what I need to do to get better as a player," he said.
Newspaper reports have linked him with moves to Manchester City, Arsenal, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
But Rodgers said that he and Sterling were "relaxed about the situation".
"This is one of the great clubs of the footballing world and, for Raheem, to be playing here it's an honour," added Rodgers. "He understands that, he sees that."
Former Liverpool defender Mark Lawrenson, who won five league titles and a European Cup with the club, said Sterling is not yet good enough for the top clubs in Europe.
"He's 20 and not going to Real Madrid or Barcelona or Paris St-Germain," Lawrenson told BBC Sport. "He's not at that level and he has a lot of work to do."
