ADOPTION DAY ONE

MONDAY, 19/02/2018: Boko Haram carrys out Chibok style girls snatch at Dapchi Yobe state.

News of the adoption first broke on Monday night, at about 7 pm when, Boko Haram terrorists reportedly stormed Government Girls Science Technical College (GGSTC) Dapchi, headquarters of Bursari Local Government Council of Yobe state and began shooting sporadically. In the ensuing melee teachers and students scampered for safety into the surrounding bushes. Reports had it that there were more than 900 schoolgirls at the time the attack took place. The terror sect who came in several hilux van reportedly carted away several girls.



ABDUCTION DAY TWO

TUESDAY, 20/02/2018: A Government in Denial

Between Monday night when the snatch took place and the following Wednesday, the Yobe state government together with the federal government and security agencies took no action. The government was in denial, there were evident attempt by security agents to put a lid on the story as no one within the security circles was ready to respond to enquiries by the media. Yobe state officials said there was no information to suggest girls had been kidnapped from Dapchi.

Following the attack of Boko Haram in Yobe which about several girls schooling at  Government Girls Science Technical College in Dapchi, Bursari Local Government Area  the state are missing, Governor Fayose has called out the government, saying that he perceives lies in the story told about the incident.

The governor criticised the Federal Government saying that whenever it boasts of defeating the insurgents, greater tragedy always occurred.

He said this in a statement signed by his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Mr Lere Olayinka on Thursday, shortly after the news of the abduction broke.

The United Nations voted overwhelmingly to condemn President Donald Trump's decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel despite threats from the US to pull funding from the world body.

Nigeria along with Some 128 countries voted for the resolution, while nine voted "no," and 35 nations abstained, including Canada, Mexico and Australia.
The vote came after US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley issued a direct threat, saying that the US will think twice about funding the world body if it voted to condemn Trump's decision.

Kaduna State Alawee: WHICH WAY?

I am a serving corp member in Kaduna, a beautiful state where the serene environment is overwhelming, but irrespective of the beautiful environment, the pockets are crying, and now i wish to emphasise on the no state allowance, with this little piece.
I am a voice that wish to speak up, for the interest of all other corp members serving in Kaduna state.
During our Passing out parade(POP) from camp, I stand to be corrected, I can recall that His Excellency, Mallam Nasiru Ahmad El-Rufai, Kaduna state Governor promised to make our service year memorable, as he promised to pay us Kaduna state allowance which was stopped when he became the Incumbent Governor of the state.
From a reliable source the following states are paying their corp member a stipulated amount after their service year, while some pay monthly.these state includes:
Ondo state is paying N60k at the end of the service year
Lagos state is paying state 10k state allowance
Anambra state is paying N8500 every month
