Earlier this morning around 9:15 am...there was a serious fire accident in one of Unilag's hostels. Eye witnesses say the fire was caused due to some technical faults and electrical wirings malfunction which caused the fire im room F113 of Eni Njoku hall located in the popular new hall area of Unilag. Fortunately there are no casualties as the room mates happened not to be in the room as at the time the incident occurred but the room was locked which made it difficult for them to discover the fire early enough. The fire was quite gruesome as it razed down the whole room including bunks and wardrobes.
