So, it’s about when it happened and not about where it happened? Wonderful!! cheesy

This must be the worst goal post shifting attempts I’ve seen lately.

Anyways, if you match up 83 Okija skulls from Yorubaland, then I will move to another incident in Igbo land — may be “Otokoto” this time.

The Soka students were probably very patient to master the art of skull mining from their Okija teachers.

Summary: don’t throw stones while you have a glass house. Nobody get monopoly of vices.
Your fellow yourbas will be laughing at your ignorance,na una get skull mining
Even the Oduduwan flag have the skull on it

Okija incident if I am not mistaken took place when Ngige was still Governor of Anambra state,a child born during that time would be in secondary school now

I pity those igbo people who are always in the act of condemning Odumeje and at the same time patronising fraudsters
At least Odumeje doesn't hide his own

The major division in Igbo land came from Anambra Igbos. Very divisive and jealous people. I am not Igbo but I know for a fact that Anambra people are very jealous, low self esteemed ppl. Whether they admit it or not, Okorocha is the most viable Igbo man. Do not vote an Anambra man. Thank God Igbo votes dont really count in an election. The North and yorubas will vote fo him
and the Major division in you came from your father because he should have used hankerchief to wipe you clean, now he LEFT US WITH YOUR FOOLISHNESS

I am not a tribalist and would never be one but I think the reason Mr Davido seems to be getting "Fat" is because of the richness of Igbo dishes unlike (forgive me plz) the Yoruba whose dishes looks like vomit and Lacks vitamins, remember a UN reports states that Yorubas suffer from stunted growth because of their poor dishes

My one cent though

Remember, I am not a tribalist though

No it is not a coincident. The people in SE now called Igbo are historically Ibo. Nothing in their cultural history is Igbo. The change from Ibo to Igbo happened not too long ago during a scramble to create and amass tangible artifacts to back its cultural identity. SE becoming Igbo was for political convenience and not for truth of cultural history.

what about Igbo people bearing surnames like Igbokwe
Igboanusi,Igboanugo or Igbo towns like Igboukwu, igbere?
So these people ancestors changed their former names so as to amass the tangible artifacts too?
Many are mad but few roams the street

Me too.I just love that guy. You don't need to be told he is truly an Anambrarian, interested in the development of Anambra state and seeking great ways to showcase the potential and progress of the state.

Compare his effort to people who want to divide Anambra people and Igbo people, claiming Nnewi people are not as Anambra as Anam or Aguleri people. You clearly see through the thinly veiled pretences of such people that they want to provoke ethnic hatred and disunity among core Anambra groups. If that is their aim, you immediately know they are not Anambra people even if they chose monikers as developAnambra or AnambraMyBelovedState or AnambraRiver01. It is all their silly pretences to hide their identity to cause havoc pretending to be Anambra people.

Nobody is deceived by their silly pranks. By their fruits, you shall know them.
Core Anambrarians Indeed,so I am not "Core Anambrarian" because i do not insult and denigrate other Igbo states especially ndi ebonyi like the so called core Anambrarians do here and on other forums?
I don't want to be core anambrarian,i am cool with being an Alor man from idemili south

Thank you

They call you Igbos which has turned into ethnic slur because of the uncouth and unintelligent way Nnamdi Kanu spoke and the shameful way his supporters like those insulting me here carry themselves. You dont buy class with money nor education.
I am not a member of IPOB nor do I support them but just pointing out the way that Yyeske of a guy calls anyone with a different Opinion IPOB, it makes no sense

Just ignore them, when Anambra was being attacked, they all kept quiet and feeling funky, when we decided to hit them back harder, they are now calling us haters.
Those are the fake self acclaimed Ndi Anambra who watch on while Anambra is taunted and disrespected but face the the true Ndi Anambra who come to her rescue. As far as I'm concerned, any insult on Anambra from any group outside Anambra will receive double of same, be you Igbo or non Igbo.
but you watch Yoruba people insult and degrade us and you join them in Insulting and calling us IPOB,how can you not care about Igbo but somehow turn Jet lee when Anambra is mentioned

The only true identity of an Igbo man is his village identity followed by the general Igbo identity. There is nothing like Anambra,Imo or Abia identity. Goodnight folks.
I was surprised reading that Anambra is monolithic in this thread, I wonder what links me an Idemili man to a man from say Awka or Aguata,if not just we both are from the same state
Some people are very funny

OMANBALA1:

Anambra is a combination of many towns that not only share the same progenitors but also a similar world view and culture. There are cultural practices that are entirely restricted to Anambra and due to this shared culture the people of the Omanbala plain tend to think and behave in a uniform manner. The understanding of these traditional practices shaped and transformed the the way we think and see other Igbos.

Examples, Igba Ofala originated in Anambra.
Nze na Ozo is an Anambra invention.
The Ikenga deity is and Anambra invention.
The Ogwugwu deity is an Anambra deity.
Igba Odu( the prestigious ivory titles) for the female is an Anambra invention.
Igba Akwunechenyi and Abi Ulor is Anambra invention.
The magnificent Ijele masquerade is an Anambra invention.
The Agaba Iduu masquerade is an Anambra invention.
Our style of music, singing and and dance style has this elegance and grace to it...It is very different from the rest of Igbos who their women mostly dance in an immoral way with their butts shaking. In Anambra it cant happen because of Nze na Ozo institution with the higher Ndi ichie present.
Anambra has a beautiful culture that makes every Igbo brag when we display it starting from our style of chants(mmaku), the Ufie gongs(Egwu ndi Nze) and Egwu ota(Egwu Ndi Eze). An average Anambra man is well culturally astute than other Igbos due to our very rich cultural background.

The Omanbala river which I refer to as ALA NA AZU NWA.
The Omanbala river has fed ,nourished ,healed and kept Ndi Anambra alive due to it crucial role in irrigation of the Omanbala farmlands which is the food basket of the state and its after this mystic river the state was named to pay tribute. And any Anambra man that doesnt know this I call a ffool. That river Omanbala is one of the gifts almighty has blessed Anambra with.
So, mister, Anambra is not just a man made space, there is a reason why these people were carved out and that is because the creators saw some, regularity that informed a monolithic society and culture.
bro you are far from reality, what makes you think that you have the same progenitor with an Onitsha man or let say A man from Nnobi?
I bet you don't know that an ihiala man more closer and speaks almost same dialect with an orsu Man and don't speak igbo with all the "L" except that want to form "Nwa otu",oga landlord travel and see
