The golden eaglets would be playing their last group match against iraq...Nigeria have gone ahead to slum the defending champion mexico to a 6-1 defeat and mobilised again to make an impressing draw against sweden on tuesday...Nigeria tops the group with a tieing point of 4 with sweden but leads with GD...Nigeria only needs a lose against iraq to qualify provided the GD margin favours but probably a draw wud be very perfect for the next round....nairalanders, share your views 1 Like |

I can't stop laffin....wu told u davido is doin all this to please iz fan rather than to cause a whole shit by messing up the air with iz nonsense.....he iz not matured.,when u do d first,u av to take it like dat anyway the fans comment it...video is not a song track you wud be remixing anyhw....let's take a look @ durosoke by olamide...it waz also a hit single like skelewu, but so many people were dissapointed by the video, but as a matured and confident singer,he neva attempt to reshoot because by reshootin, its like u r condenmin the video director which av won numerous award...it doesn't mean other musicians don't av enof money to reshoot...but this is jst high self esteem dat they are confident that they wud release another hit song....by now, with what davido has done, hez tryin to tell both sesan and moe musa that they are not up to the task wich is wrong.......well davido try sha,he az done wot nobody az eva done in the industry and doing crazy things @tym makes u famous the more.....but as a passionate fan,I wud advise im to give iz money out to the needy if he gad notin doin with the money....tnxz. |

Business / Nupeng To Join Strike Race by lanightdavido(m): 11:12am On Oct 07, 2013 |
Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers, NUPENG, had during the weekend, vowed to stop distributing petroleum products across the country if the ongoing strike of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, continues with no solution. It threatened to frustrate fuel distribution if the federal government remains adamant, without full implementation of the lecturers’ demands. NUPENG however did not specify when the strike will begin, but stated that it was necessary it shows solidarity with the lecturers since the government had failed to find a permanent solution to the strike that commenced 3 months ago. NUPENG President, Igwe Achese, while speaking at the Union’s National Administrative Council, NAC, meeting, in Lagos, expressed worry over the state of Nigerian universities. He said government’s failure to respect agreements had resulted to strikes in different sectors of the Nigerian system since the inception of 2013. He said, “We appeal to government to implement agreement reached with ASUU so that students can go back to school. If the crisis in the sector is not resolved, we will soon direct our members to embark on solidarity strike.” Blaming the Ministry of Labour over the ongoing saga, he said, “The Ministry of Labour needs to be proactive if we must get these issues nipped in the bud. The ministry also needs to make sure that agreements reached or communiqué signed are implemented. “The Ministry has a big role to play to avert strikes in the country. When unions begin to lose faith in the ministry that is when we have this kind of crisis. The Labour mMinister should be firm in making sure that the right decisions are taken.dailypost.com.ng/2013/10/07/ASUU-strike-nupeng-threatens-to-embark-on-solidarity-protest/ |

Religion / Why Was Sunday Choosen As The Sabath Day And Not Saturday? by lanightdavido(m): 8:00am On Oct 07, 2013 |
Although, have been in the christ like way of life for quite about twenty five years now and the denomination I attend chosed their sabath day to be sunday(the first day in the week),not until yesterday something strucked my mind saying"God created everything in 6days and told and rested the seventh day".therefore,we should have our sabath day the seventh day......what really ponders me now is dat why have most christians choosen sunday i.e the first day in the week as the sabath day......pls my beloved nairalander, shed light to this..thanks,God bless |

A friend of mine who have been searching for job for a long time eventually found one in the nigeria brewery located at ibadan, but he insisted that he is going to turn the offer down because brewery is a sinner doom.....he said beer production is an evil act and he is not going to be a partaker in any evil....I was very amazed at this reaction because it has been long he is jobless 1 Like |
