Lol too many mix ups now o. But I will see how it'll go. They rejected my change of date. So... idk.. if I can still go, I go. I haven't even booked appointment at Estonian Embassy yet. But I was provided with a number to call. God dey sha.

Do u think they'd accept ur application if u rapply at d Indian embassy in Nigeria? I doubt it. Y not travel to India and start Estonia visa application b4 ur Indian Entry visa expires, in that process try see to what Hakeembee said by asking them (Indians through the Estonian Consular) to extend ur stay there in New Delhi. I've a friend who's schooling in India, her visa expires in September, this year, she said they renew visa/passport (not sure) there in New Delhi but she's choosing coming to Nigeria instead, perhaps she misses her family after a longtime.

Meanwhile, I heard of someone who did his/her Estonian visa in New Delhi within 3 days cuz d visa expires after d third day.

Make efforts to travel ASAP, find ur way there in New Delhi if extension is possible with d Estonian rep's help, finish with visa n travel back to 9ja for POP.

Make sure u sort ur LI wella wink b4 travelling, make them no increase ur service year if them no meet u during headcount. embarassed

Yes i did! because people must not be discouraged by such posts, i had argued it from the day it was posted and i know people are expecting feedback on this. Wrong and misguiding info should be corrected on this tread. I rest my case. Sorry about this but this is my style.

If that's the only method u could take to correct notions then you must change your way of giving a corrective measure to someone else. Yoyolagos' info at that time wasn't misleading as wakanow could work for some persons, you are a victim of the such stresses he wanted ordinary citizens like you and Me to evade. However, he was only trying to tell us what's up at d embassy.

Lo and behold! I read what yoyolagos posted, I went for visa after you made your first attempt ever and I wasn't asked to go through your kind of stress, I was never asked d NDLEA doc nor authenticate my degree certificate. God did it for me without stress of going to Abuja or even seeking a guarantor's consent for NDLEA. I have my visa handy since July 20th and I didn't come to cast some persons

There are many errors that could be corrected in you as well. It's good to learn to be a good listener before becoming a good speaker. Learn not to b quick to react to event. My opinion, though. Stay blessed

Estonia sells IT and it's one of the MAJOR areas of getting job, in fact they need experienced international people; Estonian market is first for Estonian, then for others...and anyone can stay if they get a job. Search for "study in Estonia" and "work in Estonia" for better info.

When you say IT , I guess u (always) mean software strictly (programming of any kind), or is hardware inclusive? cheesy shocked cool

Thanks for the enlightenment, boss d bossman, as guys do refer to you here.

Could you please, tell/show us how affidavit looks like
thank you

Tobzzy has said it all. Walk up to any court (high), request for sponsor's affidavit and they'll provide to u, one. They have already prepared one which usually goes for #500, in fact, I met a girl that did hers for just #250. It's ur sponsor's name that's gonna b on urs, though. I'm sorry I couldn't show you one cuz I submitted it on that day. angry

Went to the Indian embassy at Ikoyi for reschedule on Monday, got Thursday as for interview date, had to go back cuz I didn't take sponsor's affidavit and passport datapage, the interviewer requested for them, visa approval, fee payment n biometrics on Friday. I was given d payment slip to come on Wednesday, three working days for visa to b ready for collection.

Alhamdulillahi, I was never asked d NDLEA and authentication things. God paved way for.

Different things work for different persons

Wooooow I'm so glad to hear from you @ lanre.
My first degree is Mathematics with CGPA of 4.22.

Also hw were u able to secure the tuition waiver, did u specified that you needed it in your application?

I wouldn't mind getting in touch either. Will buzz u on the e-mail add but as our predecessors have said, we shouldn't deviate from this thread so as to benefit others.

That's a very good start with ur academic standing. I secured the waiver cuz I met some requirements given to the best 8/10 as rajism said earlier but those requirements I'm not aware of totally. Once again, ur academic standing is a very good omen for such waiver coupled with ur ielts. However, I had other diplomas n certs in computer which is also stated on the admission brochure, mind you, that shouldn't stop you if u don't have such, economics was also stated on those requirements n I did nothing near economics safe much of statistics.

I didn't specify that I wanted tuition waiver in my application, it's automatic as I have a good standing as well. Although, I was optimistic and prayerful about getting it, yet I guess some applicants might be requested to pay for tuition if they don't meet such requirements, you know.

Be optimistic and prayerful as well, application starts soon. Be prepared to sit for ielts on Dec 5th so you could apply on Jan 4th because it takes 3 weeks for ielts result to be ready. On Dec 23rd or thereabout you should have ielts result ready for your application.

@ rajiism yea it's MSc Financial Mathematics but it has a specialization in actuarial/Insurance Mathematics, that's how it's written on their brochure

I hope your first degree is mathematics? I was given admission into this course you chose. I'm planning on my travelling for now. However, I wouldn't know how life is overthere as I'm still a prospective student of MSc Financial Mathematics with tuition waiver granted study program.

Meanwhile, that was possible with other supporting docs like the ielts which mustn't b less than 5.5 on each stage etc. God as well, I must acknowledge His mercy.

Hello Guys....

For those still processing their Estonia Visa and TRP and/or indian visa, I wish you guys goodluck.
However, I will recommend trying to get a UK visit visa if you have a family member or relative in the UK to apply for estonia visa and trp at London. Was quick and easy for me to obtain my Estonia D-visa.
Also theres no harm in trying other places, Please do not all rely on India, it was probably easy in the past.

Best regards

Thanks, man.

I'm visiting the Indian embassy soon enough but I must confess that I'm sick of this Indian visa procurement getting hectic by the day.

Kudos for bring on the light on other routes, I'm not obsessed with this Indian route a bit cuz I don't understand the reason for making things difficult for ordinary citizens with genuine intention of travelling. I'll wait for the outcome after my visit for reschudle then know the next line of action on the route to follow in the end.

Hello guyz. Good morning.
I need to ask some question. Is it a must we go through this India of a thing. Can't someone apply for a schengen visa in schengen country's embassy. Since its a schengen visa , u will just use that to enter estonia and b4 3 weeks u can apply for temporary residence permit in estonia instead of going through India.

Also I will like to ask that if u go to India , and get the estonia visa ,will u need to come back to nigeria or u just go straight from India to Estonia.

Also my final Question. How much does the estonia embassy will require of u to have in your account or sponsors account. I mean the min amount of money b4 they can give u visa. Am not referring to application fee or flight fee oo

And lastly if u don't use India or Egypt or Russia, which other country can u use and that is easy.

Thanks a bunch.

There was a time, I think around 3 weeks now I sent a msg to Estonian embassy in Turkey. I inquired if I could procure the visa when I get to Turkey, I got a relative positive response as below.

Dear Sir

Do you have the admission letter issued by the University of Tartu and when are you planning to visit our Embassy?
If you have booked an appointment at our website then the system will send you confirmation.

You will need to apply for D-visa at the Embassy. There will be no guarantees beforehand.

Kind regards
Leemet Paulson
Counsellor for Consular Affairs

Worthy of note in the msg is that "There will be no guarantees beforehand"

Yes, it is very true . You will be given a date far ahead of your intended interview date. Like now, available appointment date maybe around September.

However, you will have to reschedule back your appointment date at the embassy. Don't pay anybody at the embassy for this, it is free of charge. When you want to reschedule your appointment date, go to the embassy very early with all your complete application documents including the evidence of appointment date booked with Estonia embassy in New Delhi. Please make sure you book earlier date with Estonia Embassy in Delhi as this is what Indian High Commission in Lagos will use to reschedule back your appointment date.

Go with your complete documents.

Thanks, bro. Will do exactly that.

Thanks for every useful tip provided on this thread. You all have been mesmerizing. Sobastical, nairaspace, Demaejy, lost city, yoyolagos, nek12 to mention a few.

Although, I got an admission into Msc Financial Mathematics, University of Tartu b4 I found this thread, nonetheless, the information u give goes a long way. I doff my hat for the house.

However, I got an information that if one should apply for Indian visa online, there's a tendency that a date that'll be given for interview would be ahead, perhaps 2 months the date one intends to travel i.e. if I choose June 7th as the date of travelling, the computer might generate August 3rd as my interview date. How true is this?

Howbeit, I wouldn't mind if someone could help me out to meet with an official (genuine) at the embassy that would help with visa application.

Thanks
