Peter you don't have impress anyone go and donate your money to Aba people. These only see religion they don't see potentials to them you are a Kaferi.

Peter Obi's only chance to a south-east presidency after over 50 years that the SE has been excluded from the centre is the Core North.

Both NE & NW will play a pivotal role in his legitimate ambition to be commander-in-chief.

An average Fulani & Hausa Muslim northerner still bears the grudge of the Kaduna Nzeogwu led Coup that brutally killed the Sarudana of Sokoto & Alhaji Tafawa Balewa.

Peter Obi must not fail to address the issue of the 1966 Coup if he intends to President.

Best of luck to Mr. Peter Obi.

With the devaluation of the Naira, any transaction done in FX will look like an exponential increase in volume.

Nigeria has an intelligent and brilliant set up. If we are to calculate "real growth", let the calculation be done in dollars and compared to last year's export value.

We can't keep deceiving gullible people specifically to make Government look good.

A ton of Gold last year was $60 million in FY 2022 and price remains marginally the same in FY 2023. However in naira equivalent. In 2022 Gold was N42B @ N900 - $1 and 2023 Year ended @ N1400-$1 =N78B.

Same amount in dollars but devaluation of the Naira makes it look like a significant growth.

Prof. Chukwuma Soludo noted this same "farce" when he noted the FAAC allocation that comes to States in FX ($) equivalent compared to what his predecessor earned during the Jonathan/Obj years in dollar($) equivalent was far more valuable.

Please stop deceiving us here.

This is post paid and sponsored by Reno Omokori himself to gain good PR.

Heard Reno is active on Nairaland but uses psuedo-names.

Reno that could not arrange his personal and family issues and has been accused of abandoning his "special needs" child and other biological children for over 10 years would continuously attack Peter Obi on petty and mundane issues.

Reno can't take care of his family affairs and is also "deadbeat" but continues to criticize people he can't match-up to in real life.

Continue disgracing yourself and family Reno because of peanut you earn as a spoiler.

As a person of southwest extraction, if there is any Pan-Yoruba organisation that fore- warned PBAT from his Presidential bid stage it was OPC & the Afenifere faction led by Pa. Adebanjo.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is making a mockery of those of us with SW extraction like we brought the worst from the best.

Pa. Adebanjo patriotically warned PBAT to give the SE a chance since they have been robbed of the scheme of things for over three decades but fell on deaf ears.

PBAT boasted " Don't pity me I asked for the Job" . Excuse sir, How far ?

Don't put Yorubas to more shame sir. Take action now !

Mr. Peter Obi seems to underestimate his Political value to the scheme of things and is not playing his game optimally.

The South East region and Peter Obi would have a very big opportunity to ascending the Presidency if Peter Obi plays his politics smartly.

With the voting pattern revealed in the last election, a Peter Obi would be a better sell than an Atiku based on age and youth appeal.

Peter Obi didn't have a solid structure in 2023 but has a better and wider reach through his Obidents movement.

If I were in Peter Obi's shoes, Internal Party Politics of LP would be resolved swiftly and he will move to Edo state to ensure total victory for his candidate in Edo. Peter Obi should stop behaving like a political neophyte and move to Edo State as the two major gladiator seem to be daggers drawn on each other's neck.

He won the Presidential election in Edo for Christ sake. Why is Peter Obi underestimating his own value ?

In life, guard your integrity with everything.

Law no 5 in the 48 laws of Power written by Robert Greene states that "so much depends on your reputation".

People of Igbo extraction and Anambarians don't know the value of the asset they have in the person of Prof. Chukwuma Soludo.

His reputation, exposure and integrity gives validity to the projects he embarks on as Governor of Anambra State. I totally support this project.

Anambra people & the SE should come together with a consensus on the Security of the region. Without security nobody will risk his life to visit this well articulated tourist attraction.

The Southeast has been marginalized from the scheme of things - agreed !

However, the economy and progress of the region will not be magnified if they scare away investors and tourist as a result of insecurity.

2027, will present the best opportunity for the south east to shoot a direct shot for the Presidency of Nigeria as consensus is building around the southern presidency in 2027.

The southeast should build blocs with other regions of the country rather than agitation and violence.

President Buhari during his handover speech to Tinubu said and I quote that it has been your "Lifelong Ambition" to become President.

It seems PBATs dream, ambition and goal was to be Nigerian President and earn the GCFR title.

Most of these Policies and steps he is taking without recourse to the status of Nigeria as a multidimensional poor country and also an import dependent nation is done only by Politicians who don't give a damn about a second (2nd) term.

The policies that PBAT is currently executing calling them bold decisions could not be introduced by the most fearless Military Dictators in Nigeria.

My advise is this: Let PBAT organise the First Presidential Media Chat within the month. It should be composed of the Five (5) Best Journalists and will be broadcast live for 1 hour.

Tell Nigerians your plans and let your chest be free. PBAT may be threading a very dangerous path.

The issue is simple and a straightforward question needs to be asked.

The "Occupy Nigeria Protest " which was masterminded and actively participated by some of the major actors in the APC and supported by PBAT was premised on Insecurity ( Boko- Haram ravaging the North East & Abuja) and the "partial" removal of PMS subsidy by former President Goodluck Jonathan.

That move cost President Jonathan his Government and made him look incompetent!

PMS price under the current regime in less than 18 months has moved to an all-time record high of an average of N1000 with middle income and vulnerable Nigerians battling the worst inflation and cost of living crisis in the 64 year history of Nigeria and we expect no reaction.

Haba ! Jonathan didnt do one tenth of what is currently prevailing and the nation unanimously voted out Jonathan.

Now same script but with a more excruciating manner is being applied with expectation that there will be no push back or reaction.

Nigerians are more sophisticated and wiser now.

Go ahead SERAP !!!!

Let me ask Mr. Tinubu.......Do you think Nigerians are fools ?

You increase fuel prices with 400 % and you think a 50 kg of rice will be the next " exciting " thing that will keep Nigerians happy.

Rice of all things things ?

Primary & secondary Schools are resuming tommorrow and we have grapevine that most will be adjusting their rates, fees and school bus fares based on the current realities which will put a major strain on "lean" family resources whilst triggering depression for poorer households.

I think the President should still stay back in China and be wise enough not to return to Nigeria yet.

Rice ? I entered a commercial bus yesterday fully loaded with 32 passengers and EVERYBODY was cursing Tinubu in that Bus.

Rice is not the problem Tinubu, its your low IQ sir that is the problem.

Even in the most modern economies and societies, there is no 100% totally objective media station according to your assumption.

Media houses are set up with clear objectives and a specific agenda whilst entertaining or informing it's target audience. It's guided by broadcasting and advertising laws - simple.

It's called a Media house and not a " State owned broadcasting station".

Arise TV currently has no rival in the Nigerian and Sub- Saharan Media market, it's entry into the Nigerian Media and wide acceptance was not coerced or manipulated. It was sheer expertise and professional.

The TV station headhunted the best media talents, Professionals and Veterans in the industry and it's growth has been organic and exponential.

YouTube viewership is a guage of algorithm on the new media and Arise stands tops with its PrimeTime & The Morning Show series.

Reuben Abati (Ph.D), Charles Anionugu, Constance Ikoku (Ph.D), Boson Omofaye and other super-celebrities are comfortable enough to run their own stations or podcast without doubt, However the Management of such talents remains a skill for Mr. Nduka Obaigbena.

You can't have followership, viewership and talents without getting good patronage and results.

Arise is here to stay !

Other stations like AIT, NTA and TVC also enjoyed their peak season. It's time for Arise TV also.

emkz:

Arise viewership is driven by controversy and the partisan nature of the anchors.

Arise News is pro-PDP.

Hardly do you see them give balanced views on issue.

As for those of you praising them, you are not aware of the damage you are doing to your psyche. Listen to them consistently for one year and you'd end up being bitter and depressed.

Pardon me dear readers.

I respectfully say that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's handlers and close associates are "Daft".

You can see your principal willingly embark on a suicide mission and you have kept mute.

Heineken Lokpobiri - Minister of State for Petroleum came on National TV to bareface lie to Nigeria that PMS price has been deregulated when a day before Dangote said clearly that NNPC is the sole domestic buyer of his PMS.

The Presidency should prepare in the coming days as half of the Nigerian Population will be charged for "treasonable felony ".

I mean how does this President think please ? Does the Presidency want to push reforms down the throat of its Citizens ? They say they don't want and can bearly survive is it by force ?
Politics / Re: How Much Is Fuel In Your Area? by Lanruze: 12:18am On Sep 07
I don't know what your point or argument is here ?

For those places that it was sold for N1,000 as at last week, it would be sold now for N1,200-N1,300. Depot owners like BOVAS or NNPC would sell for N855 - N900 minimum.

Transport fares have risen with over 50% in Lagos. Lekki Axis - Oworonshoki is N1,500. In the past N1,500 was the Cost of travel inter-state i.e Lagos-Ibadan.

PBAT will feel the masses this time. Enough of the hypocrisy, Tinubu condemned the subsidy removed by Goodluck Jonathan to N97 and now has the audacity & guts to raise fuel Price to N900 and was still boasting in China earlier today.

Softmirror:

People have been buying fuel at, 900, 950, 1100 for weeks before this official price which is very much almost the same. While it's been sold at that price, BOVAS a very reputable filling station was selling at 680, NNPC was selling at 680. Why do we like deceiving ourselves.

I hope you know that it wasn't even the government that initially inflated the price of fuel on inauguration day when Tinubu said "subsidy is gone". Nigerians did so willingly out of selfish interest. So?! undecided

10 liters of fuel is N10,000 @ N1,000 per liter.

Reviewed minimum wage for Government is N70,000

So a level 01-08 person on Minimum wage can never own a car and fuel it with 10% of salary as cost of 10 liters of PMS.

The President is being deceived by his Handlers that " Nothing will happen".

The timing of this fuel price hike coincides with Primary and Secondary School resumption on Monday putting more pressure on family disposable incomes.

The coming days will be interesting.

I am sure there is a calculated attempt by some paid agents on Nairaland to push the narrative of Reno Omokori down the minds of gullible readers on Nairaland.

If he feels like Nigerians have an entitlement mentality, let him willingly relocate back to the country.

Reno Omokori is a confirmed Bi-Polar, tribal divisionist who gains his audience from "Paid" divisive comments and articles on Social Media.

Asides from being a divisionist and hate filled persona like Reno Omokori, it's better to set and place the records straight.

As a person of SouthWest extraction, I can tell you that Reno Omokori is claim is very FALSE.

Reno Omokori has been in Self-exile for six(6) years and most of the data and rubbish stats on Nigeria he posts on his page are information he gets from the internet.

In actual fact, The SMEs Cluster in Lagos Contribute over 60% of the GDP of Lagos.

Presently more than six(6) LGAs have Igbos dominating them in Lagos especially in Amuwo Odofin LGA, Ajao Estate(Oshodi Isolo), Ojo Axis, Lasu- Iyana Iba Axis & Badagry.

The financial transaction volume of SME industries within the Trade Fair axis, Idumota, Alaba International axis, Mushin Axis, the Oshodi Main Market Axis & Ladipo are staggering and intimidating.

Majority of the fake statistics Reno the ethnic bigot gets are internet research and not fact based.

There is an aggregation of Billionaires more in the Markets listed above than he can Phantom in his biased methodology.

Reno Omokori jumps from one country to another giving textbook knowledge without direct interface with those affected.

If anybody can forward this message to PBAT, His Minister of State for Petroleum, His Security Adviser, His Kitchen Cabinet, His Son- Seyi and his Wife Oluremi Tinubu.

If PBAT allows Dangote who is a capitalist, shrewd and profit-driven business owner determine the price of fuel and it hovers above N1000 per liter there would be the mother & father of all anarchy in Nigeria.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu should read the silence in the room. The president feels his ego would be bruised since he said openly that " subsidy is gone". The President doesn't want to be seen cowardly and eating his words on subsidy removal.

His scorecard was below satisfactory in the assessment of the One (1) year performance of cabinet members in PBAT Administration.

However, without equivocation Adelabu is the most improved cabinet member of PBAT regime.

The renowned Petroleum Economist - Bala Zakka made a conscious effort running from one TV Station to another warning PBAT on the ultimate consequence of "total" removal of subsidy.

PBAT was arrogant and believed that he knew it all.

Words like " the pain of a pregnant woman trying to give birth" , turning the corner, the light at the end of the tunnel" were common words used in deceiving gullible Nigerians on the benefits of subsidy removal.

It's now obvious that the NNPC was actually earning more money and distributed through FAAC because of the devaluation of the Naira.

Petro-Dollars was exchanged for more naira as the devalued naira became weaker and there was more Naira for onward FAAC distribution.

PBAT as Minister of Petroleum with NNPC directly under his purview should asses his own performance as a Minister.
