Politics › Re: FG Says No Going Back On New Tax Laws From January 1, 2026 by Lapinski: 3:10am On Dec 27, 2025 |
You are funny... What can 100k monthly salary get you in nigeria of today? Yet you still want to tax me? Oh zacheous Stop being smart by half and face the fact. eazzzy1: There are a lot of ‘not so smart’ people in Nigeria. People who would rather get information on the new tax regime from street vendors than from the person who put the whole thing together.
Currently if you earn #100,000 a month and pay %15 in taxes, you pay #15,000 taxes. With the new regime, the first #66,000 is untaxed. You pay 15% on #34,000. Which means anyone earning #66,000 and below is totally exempted from paying tax. Majority of people currently paying tax will see a reduction in what they pay.
This man has been going from one station to the other telling you the fact about the tax regime but you will rather watch sabinus with your time and get tax info from the pepper seller down the street. |

Romance › Re: I Might End Up Miserable Like My Dad by Lapinski: 11:32pm On Sep 25, 2025 |
ChildOfDoom: My dad is currently in a miserable state. One of his legs is swollen. He is having issues urinating properly. A man who once looked sturdy and active, now looks lean and feeble.
In earlier years, he was known for constant womanising and drinking. He was always in debt from gambling too (fled past location).
Health complications have meant that he now spends anything he solicits on drug.
Here I am, a boy of 33, doing worse atrocities than him. I feel I am young now and I can fight off any challenge, unknowingly I am complicating issues for myself. I long to stop but hard.
I started a 33 days abstinence plan which I have failed to keep. I squandered around 70k yesterday in a brothel after getting an alert of six digits.
My addictions are: std and loperamide drugs regular intake (one to fight std and the other to fight regular stooling), up to 3 carbonated drinks daily, betting, womanising, borrowing when unable to pay, junk food and masturbation.
God help us
I go again
Day 1 - 25th September
Womanising free
Day 4 - betting-free I can fix his urinary problem within a month with leaf 🌿 and you people can pay after my work is done. |

DiamondsAreFore: Either the previous occupant of the room was a ritualistic Yahoo boy or the owner of the hotel is a money ritualist, either way I wouldn't spend the night in that room.
Edit: Turns out that he's an international traveller and this hotel isn't in Nigeria. It may well be a cultural norm in that part of the world to prominently feature statues as part of interior decorations. Na ritual for naija but cultural norm elsewhere? Don’t we have culture? |

I don't expect you to understand. Your jehovah witness leaders have warned you not to go to university so there are some simple things you will never learn. If the leader did so, their leader is right… Those things you call simple things to learn are actually limitations if you look deeper into them. |

Trash.... Women are gate keeper of sex, without them allowing men to get in there, there is no way it will be this way. Women too mumu pansophist: Men have always being the architect of rot or nobility in women.
People complain about girls being on Only Fans, but it is men that invented it.
What about cornographic sites, it is men that create and control every chain of such industry.
Pimping nko? or those that patronizes such services, it is men.
Hotels, clubs, bars etc facilitating the negotiation, pickup and drop off for hookup sexperts are controlled and owned by men.
The one that are impregnating unsuspecting girls, catching them when they are very young, naive and broke, it is men.
We complain about single moms, but lots of men have different kids with different women, while being married to none.
Women are like sponges, they will soak up the nonsense or goodness the men of every given society have created.
In good societies, the men led well, and the women turned out to be good.
So the lack of virtuous women in Nigeria is a result of rotten men.
This is why it is necessary for young women not to resist or rebel against male leadership (especially from their dad), because he knows men, and he is only protecting you from the degradation outside decorated under beautiful package. |

I trust Iran, just the foolish Iraq that were not wise enough to see the enemy. Same thing happening to Ukraine. Israel should be careful kettykings: It is not very hard to spot a Nigerian, Israeli missiles targetted nuclear installations and Iranian top military officers but Iranian missiles are targeting Israeli civilians and just anyone in Telaviv. And what do we have, a Nigerian supporting Iran missiles strike against civilians. Hmm |
