Ultimately, the world is going to come up with robust risk diversification systems that will take money away from China.

Well said, but if this conspiracy is anything to go by i doubt that china would give a shit about "new" competition or the loss of it manufacturing and supply chain in certain sectors(knowing that they have comparative advantage) for a greater gain in more important and critical sectors like Tech and finance .
Moreover America and Europe can't compete in manufacturing with china as it stands, they've moved past that.
