Take it from me. Those politicians only care about themselves. Go to rural areas and see real farmers that are supported by private companies.

Not those ones that will hijacked some processes and be doing man no man.

Come here, from seedlings, training and other inputs. Some of their head offices are in Lagos. You can go and verify.
There are lots of UNESCO funded projects in the North, same with Afriexim, Afdb and the likes.

There are also private companies investing in the North like WACOT and the likes. These are private investment and not charity or free money.

What the FG does is intervention funding like subsidizing fertilizers, seedlings, acting as offtakers and the likes.

It is a lie to say the FG hasn't done anything for the North agriculture wise.

If they don't pay, what happens?

Person no fit pay salary, you still want make e pay 40% tax.

Larride, fear God oh grin
It's going to be like the current FAAC now. It will be in the constitution. Regardless of how much the state make, they will remit 40% to the FG.

Even if na 1m Kogi make in that month, 400k must go FG pocket. cheesy

I never said they didn't. U need to go back and follow the argument.

He claimed Government didn't do anything for agriculture in the north and that's a lie. I never said the South didn't benefit anything from FG as regards agriculture
I knew it was a lie that's why I never joined the conversation in the first place. Buhari supported farmers alot with most of the beneficiaries in the North.

Advertising doesn't appeal to logic. It appeals to emotions.

But you have to target the right people and the right emotions. 1m people can see an ad and it'll convert exactly zero people.

1k people can see an ad and 150 will be converted.
Exactly.

If your car is faulty and you take it to the mechanic that you know is trusted and he told you to go buy a certain engine oil that it's good for your car, on your way to buy the engine oil, you saw the engine oil ad with Pete Edochie on the billboard, which will you buy?

The one recommended by the expert mechanic or the one being advertised by the legend?

How do they read and comprehend the written languages perfectly without formal education.

How do they distinguished trapezium from hexagonal shape or patterns without educationhuh?

So u mean one can relegate the universal accepted test for iq to one's language and compare it with the professors standard process of testing IQ?
😂😂😂😂

Advertising relies more on visibility and targeting the emotions of those that view the ad than it relies on appealing to the logic of the target audience.
One of the strong point of advertising is that it must resonate with the intended audience.

Visibility without conversion is nothing.

IQ tests have been criticized for not being a true measure of intelligence, as it often depends on having certain background knowledge that makes identifying the patterns and logic of IQ tests possible. You need a base knowledge to do well in IQ tests and almajiri kids don't have that base knowledge so won't beat a university prof in an IQ test.
You are wasting your time.

I will never buy that lie of disintegrating Nigeria so we can grow. Na fat lie.

Scatter it, and we will have clusters of IDP camps, on the same level with S.Sudan and Somalia.
I think resource control by states might be better. Let every state control their own resources and pay a 40% tax to the FG.

FG can be in charge of foreign policy, national security, immigration and the likes.

All other powers dissolved to the state.

The one most people know is logic. Those test like patterns that recruiters do give.

Is possible an almajiri can get correctly than a professor.
I think you word you are looking for is "GENIUS"

And no, even a genius will still have to be educated to know how logic, patterns and co work. The only difference is that they get to grasp it faster than the average person.

That's why I'm asking you for a reference point. Theres no reference point because even if it's there, theres no way for you to know because they've already turned almajiri. No education, no nothing, just a wasted future or potentials.

Yes and I'm surprised that people are surprised that someone from the North will defend his own region that you are shitting on.

The South has perceptions about the North, same way the North has perceptions about the South. There will be some elements of truths and lies in both perceptions.

FLASH: Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Sanwo-Olu and Governor of Niger State, Hon. Bago today signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the Produce-For-Lagos initiative.

The Produce-For-Lagos initiative is a long term strategic partnership between Niger and Lagos State(s), where Niger State will produce food items (Paddy, Tubers, Legumes, Grains etc) and Lagos State will be position itself to be a major organized market (off takers).

The Farmers in Niger State will have a ready market for their produce while Lagos State citizens can be assured availability and price stability of food items.

In the Long term, this initiative will create a ready supply of farm produce directly to the ongoing massive Lagos Food logistics in Ketu Ereyun, Epe.
Nothing concern other SW Gov with agriculture.

what the man is supposed to have done is started small , identified all the problems and challenges, after which you can fine tune your plan

a pilot project , if you will. as a nigeria matter there are so many random things that can go wrong.
eg the diesel we import has always had kleg and is actually rejected by several other nations. and it messes with heavy machinery.

there was one time all our new generators were having issues because their fuel lift pumps could not lift the diesel available.

we bought floodlights from philips. the lights worked fine - but an issue that does not occur in europe came up, the light took 30 minutes to reignite after a power failure.

we bought new pumps and the pumps filters were getting clogged with debris from our fuel

you dont just jump head first into a massive undertaking without doing a pilot scheme
I saw the price of diesel last week and I open mouth down. How businesses are still surviving is a miracle.
